Perhaps the answer for the guys who can’t quite figure out “What is it about this Pattinson dude?” lies in Rob’s hair. At least the New York Times thinks that has something to do with it.
“ROBERT PATTINSON — he of the wild, teased mane — may stand alone in this summer’s teenage-adulation market: Us Weekly published its first-ever “bookazine” about him and his “Twilight” co-stars, a decision Janice Min, then the editor, chalked up to a “hunk recession.”
His hair, however, has plenty of competition. There is a minor eruption of major hair atop the country’s young male populace — and, as hair is wont to do, it’s growing.”

We have a nice site update for you all this evening. First, the Lexicon timeline has been finished through Breaking Dawn. As usual, there were some dates that had to be played around with to get everything to fit in nicely. But as far as we know, what we have is correct. Thanks to everyone who does keep us on our toes about the dates though.
We also have three chapters from Breaking Dawn to add to the discussions. First up, from nissanmamma, is Chapter 25: Favor. Visit the message boards to discuss Jacob’s explanation about Bella to Charlie.
LadyDi has provided the discussion for Chapter 26: Shiny. Be sure to add your thoughts at the message boards to the discussion on Bella’s new strength and abilities.
And lastly, thanks go to CullenGirl for her help with Chapter 27: Travel Plans. Hop over to the message boards to chime in on Bella’s worries about the Volturi.
According to The Hollywood Reporter who earlier today told us about the casting of Jack Huston as Royce King II, has now announced that Catalina Sandino Moreno will play Maria, the vampire who turns Jasper.
“The Colombian-born Sandino Moreno most notably starred in “Grace,” in which she played a pregnant teacher who becomes a drug mule, as well as Steven Soderbergh’s epic “Che” and the upcoming indie drama “Frail,” in which she plays the title character, who’s described as a naive Midwestern girl.”
TY to Nena and Larry Richman for giving us the heads up, love ya, Larry!
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Jack Huston will be portraying Royce King II. To jog your memories, Royce is Rosalie’s fiance back when she was human.

Congrats, Jack, on playing what is probably the only character that every Twilight fan hates! Don’t take it personally, it just comes with the territory on who he is. 🙂
From the same people who brought you the Twilight movie spoof, we now have a New Moon trailer spoof.
TY to Nga for the heads up.
Catherine Hardwicke talked with Larry Carrol of MTV about her upcoming Hamlet project and how some Twilight names might be involved. Get the whole story on MTV.
According to the NBC San Diego Afiliate:
“Some of the hottest celebrities including Al Pacino, Brooke Shields, Heidi Klum, Jamie Lee Curtis, Mark Hoppus, Peter Facinelli, Steve Carell, Thomas Gibson, Tom DeLonge and Tony Hawk have built their own ocean-themed Lego mosaics. The mosaics will be auctioned off on Celebritybuzz.com, and all the proceeds will go to the Surfrider Foundation.
“We have no idea how much these mosaics are going to go for, I think the sky’s the limit,” said Beth Downing with Sea Life Aquarium. “This is the first time we’ve ever done anything like this so it could be a little or it could be a lot, but of course we’re hoping to raise as much money as we can for Surfrider.”

IESB has an interview with Jackie Earle Haley who stars in the Nightmare on Elm Street remake. Kellan Lutz co-stars and is mentioned in the interview.
“Q: Kellan Lutz from Twilight plays one of the characters in the movie. After playing Freddy Krueger, did you trade any advice with Kellan about how to play a better vampire?
Haley: No, we never talked about that, but I’m sure thrilled that he’s in the movie. I actually just met him here at Comic Con. I never saw him, when we were out there. He’s a really nice guy. He signed a couple of Twilight books for my nieces, so I was a hero there.”
You can find the entire interview with Jackie Earle Haley on IESB.
Christina Radish, who conducted the interview, is multi-talented and shot some great photos for Jet Set Jen at the Teen Choice Awards.

Ty to James for the head’s up.
