Electric Spoofaloo/G-Force New Moon Trailer Spoof

The  Electric Spoofaloo website just picked the New Moon trailer as its latest spoof.  They have previous episodes where they parody film school ideas gone bad, The Watchman and  Harry Potter. We could describe it, but some things just speak for themselves. However, for the sake of your computer monitors, don’t be drinking anything as you watch this. If it is slow loading, you can also get it here.

Get full details on MTV where they ask “What do you think Twilight would have been like if Chris Columbus had directed?”

TMF Readers Voice Robert Pattinson Opinions

The Movie Fanatic (the only industry blogger and media source to cover Twilight in the early days besides MTV) just posted the results of its readers’ survey entitled: Is Rob Pattinson Worth All The Hype. Some of the questions that TMF asked its readers to consider in their response were the following:

1. Is Robert Pattinson all hype and no (or little) talent?

2. Do you think Rob has improved his ways in dealing with the media frenzy from the time he was cast in Twilight until now?

3. Which of Rob’s up and coming movies (choose only 1) do you think would further give him the critical acclaim he deserve?

4. Who is Rob’s most important rival as Hollywood’s Next Golden Boy?

5. Name the actress (aside from Kristen Stewart) who would look awesome acting alongside Rob and would generate a lot of buzz?

As usual the crew over at TMF gives a quality article that doesn’t just scratch the surface. Check it all out on The Movie Fanatic.

Dakota Fanning Walking Tall

With the help of some serious retro 1970’s platform boots,  Dakota Fanning now towers over Kristen Stewart on the set of the Joan Jett bio pic, The Runaways.

Even with the boots, we’re thinking that this only makes Dakota around 5′ 5″ or so, because both her and Kristen Stewart are pretty short to begin with. You can check out the full details on RadarOnline.

Move Over Rob, Hello Jamie?

The London Paper wonders if Jamie Campbell Bower is going to be the next best British import to hit it big. They examine Jamie’s roles in Sweeney Todd, The Twilight Saga, Harry Potter, and his music career.

“He has yet to come to mainstream attention, though he has appeared in Sweeney Todd opposite Johnny Depp and in Guy Ritchie’s RocknRolla.

And he doesn’t just act – he’s also frontman in his own band, The Darling Buds (no, not the 80s Welsh indie outfit) and was formerly signed to Select Model Management.”

Adam Sandler Competes With Eclipse

According to HitFix the latest Adam Sandler movie has just moved its release date:

” Summit Entertainment’s “Twilight Saga: Eclipse” has June 30 staked out and the M. Night Shyamalan adaptation of “The Last Airbender” were already set to open two days later on July 2.  This was curious enough that many industry execs wonders whether the “Twilight” Moms would take their kids to “Airbender” or drag their daughters to “Eclipse” instead.  Now, Columbia Pictures has moved the Adam Sandler buddy comedy “Growns Ups” from it’s previously announced March 12 release to June 25.  That’s only five days before “Eclipse”…Could it put a dent in the Eclipse box office total?”

The Real Charlie Swan

One of the great things this past weekend at the Summer School in Forks Symposium was that we heard from the real-life citizens of Forks.  We talked to everyone from former and current students, business owners, high school staff, and of course the chief of police. So what is it like actually being the real police chief in Forks, Washington?

Real life Chief of Police Mike Powell explains it all. Later on when he was asked about the  representation in the movie he thought it was pretty acurrate and he thought that Billy Burke did a great job playing a chief of police. The only part he said wouldn’t have happened was that he would never have been cleaning a firearm while drinking Rainer beer as was the case with the movie.

Summer School In Forks Overview

Kaleb Nation, The Twilight Guy, shot this very cool footage while we were in Forks. We are still working on some of our pieces, but for now enjoy Kaleb’s.

You have to love Lori playing Bellaesque crazed fangurl screaming for Edward in the forest. See additional photos on Kaleb’s site here.
