Jamie Campbell Bower Tweeting Away

Unlike other Twilight Saga stars, Jamie Campbell Bower has a Twitter that he uses for fans, and he has been Tweeting an awful lot today.
So, if you want to catch Jamie and is band, they have an upcoming gig at the Bullet Bar in Camden. Check out the MySpace for the band The Darling Buds for details.
Apparently according to his latest Tweet, he’s in a bit of a bind…literally.

Breaking Dawn Greenlit?

The Wrap (and industry insider and information website) is claiming that Breaking Dawn has been greenlit for 2010. It is their belief that the film will shoot starting winter 2010 for a late 2010 release with Vancouver remaining as the filming location.
Despite their claim, Summit gave the following comments when The Wrap went to verify the story:
“Summit Entertainment spokesman Paul Pflug declined to confirm or deny the report, saying only, “Summit has no comment on that rumor at this time.”
and
“But a Summit executive who declined to be identified said that there was no production schedule for “Breaking Dawn,” and no current plans to shoot in Vancouver. “
They also mention the rumor, that was the subject of an Internet war of words between Nikki Finke and a Summit executive, that Juan Antonio Bayora will be helming Eclipse. Summit has confirmed that he was being considered, but has not revealed who if anyone has landed the job.
Is it Greenlit or not? Your guess is as good as ours, no one is going to say for sure unless the ink is dry on all contracts.
You Can’t Make Everybody Happy

The student talks about the inconvenience of having the film crew around which created traffic jams in the hallways and in getting to campus.
“It seemed pretty cool at first, but when you mix in the hottest celebrities with a horrible film crew, the school turns into chaos. Closing the cafeteria for two days, taking over the foyer and forcing students to make detours and stop dead in our tracks during our break and lunch because they were filming a big-shot movie was not cool.”
Last year when Twilight was filmed at Kalama High School ( a school in a very small town just outside of Portland) the production company paid a reported $29,500 plus an additional undisclosed sum to the school district. There is no word on how much money was paid to the David Thompson Secondary School and/or the local school board for the current use of the facility.

He also lets the reporter know that even though Kellan Kutz, one of his vampire kids, invited him to an LA PArty, he opted to go back home to his real kids and wife who he missed very much.

No we don’t mean visit the Aston Martin section on our forums, but feel free if you want to. We are talking about the latest addition to Car Junky. In recent weeks, Car Junky has detailed Bella’s Chevy pick-up, Edward’s Volvo, and Alice’s Porsche. Well now they are up to Edward’s Aston Martin, the car he uses to take Bella to the prom.

Vancity Allie Meets Cast At The Dills Show

Vancity Allie attended the Dills Show and who did she meet: Nikki, Taylor, and Kristen.
If you haven’t heard the Dills music before there is a great video linked on teh Vancity Aliie Blog, check them out. They have a great sound!
“I asked her[lead singer Sage] if I could take photos of my show and she said that was cool. Nikki Reed herself came out and sat right in front for half the show to take photos of her friend, support her music, take videos, and dance along to the music. What a great friend! They were talking/shouting to each other during the show the entire time, and Nikki was giving song suggestions.
Stephenie Meyer Lawsuit Story is bogus

It seems that the unsubstantiated story that Stephenie Meyer is being sued and filming on New Moon has halted continues to spread like wildfire on the web. Our inbox is exploding with various readers citing new places the story has cropped up.
Below are the official comments now from both Summit Entertainment and now Little Brown/Hachette:
Official comment from Summit Entertainment regarding the portion of the story as it specifically refers to filming is as follows(released April 19): “This rumor is certainly NOT true. Please let your readers know.”
Official comment from Stephenie Meyer’s publisher regarding the portion of the story that refers to the lawsuit(release April 20):
“This story is false.”
Second official statement released by Summit April 20: There is absolutely no truth to the rumor about any interruption to the filming of NEW MOON. The production of the film has not been stalled or interrupted in any way and filming continues as planned. Additionally, after consulting with Stephenie Meyer and her publishers, speculation about any claims of plagiarism are also completely not true. This is a hoax, pure and simple. The internet for all of its assets can still be an easy breeding ground for such hoaxes and detractors, and we hope that people will not be duped so easily, and use appropriate diligence before perpetuating everything or anyone that claims to have information about the TWILIGHT franchise,” according to a Summit spokesperson. “
The origination of the story on the Max Dan Wiz site has now been removed.
Stephenie Meyer Speaks to Australian Press

Stephenie Meyer gave an interview to The Courier Mail about her feelings on the whole book to movie process.
“That was when that really hit me [that her book was being made into a movie]. I was sitting there at dinner the first night. Everyone came in costume, because they’d just done a photo shoot. I was like, ‘Wait a minute, these are imaginary people and here they are’ – very weird.”
The DVD is just coming out in Australia and Stephenie’s interview follows recent interviews given by Kristen Stewart and Ashley Greene to the Australian press.
