Twilight Convention Takes San Francisco
Robert Pattinson in Details Magazine
Details magazine has an extensive interview with Robert Pattinson.
“Rob’s face is constantly busy—especially his kaleidoscopic eyes, which are continually rolling and dilating, because he is always thinking. Over the course of that latte, he contemplates Jimi Hendrix, French fries, girls, art, beer, his cousin the philosopher, girls, truth, God, his dog, girls, and whether this week’s stalker has followed him from L.A. I don’t think he could turn his brain off if he wanted to.
Despite the legion of fans trailing him from hotel to hotel, laying siege to each like the Roman army, he is neither fearful nor cocky—he’s hungry, curious, forever reaching intellectually. That may not sound like a big deal, but think of the context: Complete strangers want to fuck you, shoot you, be you, buy you, sell you, run their fingers through your hair, watch you have sex, hear you pee, eat chips with you, and kidnap you and stuff you in the trunk of their car. And you? You must know more, more, more about exotic tropical diseases.”
Please be advised that the interview contains mature themes, language, and links to a photshoot that is art house in style that would not be considered work/school safe. See it here.

Breaking Dawn One or Two?
So after Alphie’s 6-hour flight with a three hour layover in Minnesota, and after Pel’s 7 hour delayed flight (have you heard about the snow) they land in San Fransisco at midnight local time to hear according to Nikki Finke there’s going to be two Breaking Dawn movies. Why does the good stuff always happen when we are on planes and jet lagged????
So here’s the story as we know it:
Nikki Finke is usually correct in her info, not just Twilight information, but every type of Hollywood information. However Nikki isn’t infallible even when it comes to Twilight. The only time that we can remember that she was wrong in Twilight information was when she originally reported that Juan Antonia Bayona would be directing Eclipse. Here’s what Nikki had to say on the Breaking Dawn movie:
“I have this from several sources, and it’s definitive. Filming on the back-to-back movies would begin in mid-October, and Summit Entertainment is looking at “high end” directors. Breaking Dawn is the longest in Stephenie Meyer’s 4-book series lengthwise and it’s the most graphic — presenting birth, attempted murder, death, and of course vampire bites. Published on August 2, 2008, it has a happy ending for most of the characters.”
Summit Entertainment when asked for confirmation issued the following statement:
“No decision has been made and as we have said all along we are continuing to work with Stephenie Meyer to bring BD to the big screen.”
So now you have all the information that we do. What do you think 1 or 2?

Forks Documentary Lawsuit: The Plot Thickens
A couple of days ago we brought to you news that Summit Entertainment had initiated legal action against another company with a Forks documentary. Summit has its own”Twilight In Forks” DVD coming out to coincide with the New Moon DVD. Initially the allegations, as reported by the media, stated that the problem was that the competitor DVD had essentially stolen the Summit designed, trademarked logo. Well, it looks like this wasn’t just a case on innocent logo lifting, it’s a lot more like a race to the finish where someone snags your idea. According to VX50:
“Summit’s documentary was filmed and produced by Heckelsville Media. the suit claims that Heckelsville talked to James[the owner of the company named in the lawsuit] last August about possibly selling the licensing rights to Topics, but James was not familiar with the “Twilight” movies.
“After researching the matter further,” the suit states, James expressed an interest in working with Heckelsville, and the two sides “discussed in detail the prospective contents of” the documentary, as well as a mock cover featuring photos of a red truck belonging to heroine Bella Swan and a “Welcome” sign in Forks.
Heckelsville then entered into a deal with Summit to sell it, not Topics, the rights to the documentary. ..
Meanwhile, Topics went on to create its own documentary and set March 16 as the release date, according to the suit. A promotional flier sent to large retailers, including best buy, Sam’s Club and Target, lists the same price, and uses photos of Bella’s truck and the Forks “Welcome” sign, the suit states.”
