TY to Lexiconer Sarah for sending this in.

Hi! I recently pre-ordered the How to be Soundtrack and was sent an email back from Dreamboat records about the release, along with a special website with a new image of Rob (as Art) from the movie and a preview of a track with dialogue from the movie are hosted! Here’s is the link.

And the email read:

Robert Pattison:So Much Coverage, So Little Time

MTV just about turned over their entire website to Rob yesterday.

First they had the outtakes of his sizzling photoshoot with Dosier.

Then they had an accent expert analyzing his Spanish accent in Little Ashes. The expert seemed to think it was pretty legit. Only the real Castellanos can tell us if he actually nailed the right dialect.

According to their expert, “There is one thing he did that really struck me, and it is something he does as an Englishman well, I say, for example, ‘I am going “ta” the store.’ Like Americans, we don’t say ‘to,’ we say ‘ta.’ And in one little clip, he says [‘I need to go further’] without the ‘ta.’ People who learn English as a second language learn it properly, and a little word like ‘to’ is a hard thing for them not to say properly. So [someone like Salvador Dalí] would say, ‘I am going “to” the store.’ It’s a hard thing for them to break.”

Now if a throwdown is what you are up for, there is the never ending Edward vs. Buffy (et. al.) debate.

Jackson Rathbone: Criminal Minds Wrap Up

Now if you didn’t see the episode, assume that the comments will have tons of spoilers. You can currently catch a clip of it here. The episode eventually will be available here.

Without giving away the details of the plot, Jackson definitely showed us that he is a versatile actor who can play various parts. If you caught the episode, what did you think?

The New Moon Cast Eats Out In Style

Proving that though he may play a “vegetarian vampire” on the big screen, Robert Pattinson is a serious carnivore at dinner time. According to the Vancouver Sun:

“Twilight lead Robert Pattinson enjoys the Kobe beef meatballs with truffled spaghetti at Glowball and Satay Bar on Mainland and Nelson in Vancouver.”

You can check out the restaurants online:

Glowbal Grill and Satay Bar Obviously they are known for their food and not their webdesign. People with slow connections be warned it possibly has the world’s most irritating flash site.

Emily Young Say Hello

Actress Tinsel Korey has made it official on her MySpace that she is in fact playing Emily Young.

“She starts off 2009 landing the role of Emily Young in the Twilight Sequel “New Moon”; and is very excited to be working with such a talented cast and brilliant director. “

Add Tinsel to the growing list of the musically talented people involved in this cast! It’s easier to list who doesn’t sing or play in a band than who does. Check out Tinsel’s music below.

Happy Birthday Kristen Stewart!

A very Happy 19th birthday to Kristen Stewart!

We do not endorse Russet Noon

The Twilight Lexicon does not now, nor has it ever endorsed the concept that Lady Sybilla (or anyone else in any fandom for that matter) should be allowed to publish fanfiction. We strongly support authors’ rights to control their intellectual property as currently outlined by copyright law.

We cannot prevent Lady Sybilla from linking to our blog, but we wish to be clear that we are not endorsing her in any way.

Check Out His Golden Eyes

No, we don’t mean the very popular Twilight site, even though they are really great people (*waves hi to Kimmy and crew*). We are talking about the UK marketing campaign to get people to buy the Twilight DVD…as if they needed encouragement!

I think we can safely say that the “real Cullen” version doesn’t come with the not so subtle hint at what to buy.

Catherine Hardwicke on Twilight

Catherine Hardwicke talked to ABC affiliate KTKA in Texas about her Twilight experience and upcoming projects. Catherine reiterates what has been said before, that she was offered New Moon but turned it down due to time frame.

What’s also clear again, is that fans owe Catherine a huge debt for insisting that the script was rewritten to be closer to the actual novel than the barely recognizable version that she was originally presented with. In our opinion, Catherine’s insistence on going back to the book is what is set this up as a viable mega-franchise and not just another teen flick flop.

According to the interview: “Since I loved the books in a way it made it easier because I knew what made me love it and got swept away by the cool romance,” explained Hardwicke. “I thought how we can put that to screen, because you just can’t do books on tape, because we already have that. We had to make it visual and bring it to life and that’s what I had to dream about everyday on how can I make this scene cool and capture the feeling of the book.”

New Moon Cast In the News

Peter Facinelli is apparently interested in playing more than one doctor. Aside from Carlisle Cullen he has an upcoming show on Showtime called Nurse Jackie where he plays a doctor. Now it seems that at a recent convention that the UK fans told him about how popular the newest version of Dr. Who.  According to The Sun, Peter said, ” I wish we had Doctor Who in America. Everyone in UK was raving about it when I came over for the conference. I’d love to watch it. Or even star as the Doctor in a film. I could even get a long stripy scarf!(a reference to Doctor Who from about 30 years ago)”. Next time someone sees Peter, let him know you can catch Dr. Who in America on the Sci-Fi Channel or BBC America.

Media Blvd has a picture of Taylor up from the Kids Choice Awards.

Kellan Lutz is going snowboarding, but doesn’t want people to know. Kellan, we recommend not telling that to the LA Times next time. Kellan also mentioned to the LA Times that, “This one is not about the vampires at all. It’s more about the werewolves. Taylor’s going to be great. He’s really stepped up to the role and he deserves it…Its(sic) kind of like a dream – to work on a movie like this that has been so well-received – it’s just awesome. It’s so great to have so many fans that love it.”
