FearNet exclusive With Jamie Campbell Bower

FearNet’s Jen Yamato talks to Jamie Campbell Bower about New Moon, The Prisoner, and Harry Potter.

You play Caius, one of the three powerful vampires who rule the Volturi. But we only get to see you briefly, at the end of New Moon. Is it challenging to infuse your character with all of the back story and motivations that he has when you have limited screen time?

Jamie Campbell-Bower: Well, it wasn’t difficult because there’s so much back story, particularly to the Volturi. We all knew what we were there for, we knew what we were doing. You know, the thing about the Volturi is that they’re introduced in the second film and then come the fourth book, that’s where the meatiness lies. So it’s an introduction, effectively. But I wasn’t disappointed; I knew exactly what I was going to be doing when I got the script. I’m just psyched to be involved in it.

You’re appearing in quite a few upcoming genre projects: New Moon, which is a vampire story, AMC’s The Prisoner, which is sci-fi, and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. Was this all by coincidence?

Well, if all else fails, I can just become one of those guys who goes to Comic-Con every year to have my own booth and get paid to do autographs. [Laughs.] That’s what I’m investing in – I’m investing in the end of my career.”

Ashley Greene’s Transformation on InStyle

Ashley Greene has gone through a lot of different looks since landing the role of Alice Cullen.  Instyle has a retrospective.

“Ashley Greene may love playing the adorable vampire, Alice (right), in Twilight and the upcoming New Moon, but her costume has its challenges. “My hair is very long and thick, which made it awkward to fit underneath Alice’s pixie wig,” she said. “Part of my decision to cut it came because of the wig.”

Peter Facinelli in Time Out New York Kids

Time Out New York talks to Peter Facinelli, who even though he’s been living in LA for a decade is still a New Yorker through and through!

What are your favorite things to do with your family in the city?
At Christmastime we like to see the tree at Rockefeller Center and go ice-skating in Central Park. The kids love to go shopping at FAO Schwarz, walk around the city and buy pretzels or hot nuts on the street corners.

Ever get back to Queens?
A couple months ago I went to Aldo’s Pizzeria where I used to go all the time. They sponsored my baseball team when I was a kid. Aldo is still working there on Cross Bay Boulevard and still makes one of the best pizzas in New York.

What was it like growing up in Ozone Park?
It was a real community. All the neighbors knew each other and watched out for one another. Fourth of July was huge. The streets would close down and fireworks would be lit off all the way down the block. I have a lot of good memories.

Dakota Fanning in Teen Vogue

Dakota will be on the cover of the December/January 2010 issue of Teen Vogue, on newsstands November 17!

Here is an excerpt from the article:

“At fifteen, Dakota Fanning is finally outgrowing the adjective that’s been applied to her so frequently during her decade-long career: precocious. It’s not a bad word, of course, and doubtless there are actresses three times her age who would kill to have worked with Sean Penn, Robert De Niro, Tom Cruise, and Denzel Washington—to say nothing of the prodigious natural talent that got Dakota there. But if her brief turn in this month’s The Twilight Saga: New Moon signals anything, it’s a willingness to shed the self-serious image that—deserved or not—is so widely known it’s been sent up in a Saturday Night Live sketch.”

E! Covers New Moon Fever in LA

Fearnet Features Alex Meraz

Fearnet has a new interveiw with wolfpack bad boy Alex Meraz.

You stand out among the Wolf Pack because of your scene with Bella – the slap heard ‘round the world, so to speak. Tell me how that scene went down.

Alex Meraz: It was exciting. Even just in the casting of it, I just really liked Paul. What happened with the casting process is, we sent in our information and through that they were going to break it down. I sent it in and started reading New Moon while I was waiting and I really liked Paul because of that scene, and I really like bad boys and he’s kind of the bad boy of the Wolf Pack……  Read the rest HERE
