100 Monkeys Improvs Hurricane Song at Last Night’s Show

Oh My Carlisle on Twitter was on the show and this is how she describes it.

“At every 100 Monkeys show, the band has the audience throw out an idea for a song and they create an original song on the spot. This night they picked my idea, “Hurricane!” I yelled Hurricane because this was the weekend Hurricane Irene was beating up the east coast. Jackson Rathbone (The Twilight Saga’s Jasper Hale) is on lead vocals.”

Taylor Lautner Possibly Expendable

Moviehole has information that Taylor Lautner is being courted for a role in The Expendables 2. The first movie was a sleeper hit from last summer (see trailer below) with action stars like Sylvester Stallone, Dolph Lundgren, “Stone Cold”” Steve Austin, Jet Li, and Jason Statham proving that in their 40’s and 50’s they still have some serious action moves.

According to Moviehole, “…we have word that Taylor Lautner is the number one new guy they want to add to the cast.

Lionsgate is quite pleased with Taylor Lautner’s role in the upcoming action flick Abduction, and they are pulling hard for him to be in the movie. Sylvester Stallone is also impressed with the nineteen-year-old’s physic and stunt performing abilities. He seems to be one of the few young actors out there, with the exception of Marvel’s stable of buff dudes, that can actually go toe-to-toe with some of these aging, yet still in great shape, icons of the action genre.”

Rob Pattinson Says Birth Scene “Tears Out My Heart”

Compiling a list of the most anticipated movies hitting theatres this fall, The Chicago Sun Times has a few quotes from Rob Pattinson about Breaking Dawn Pt. 1.

“I’m curious to see how it will carry out,” star Robert Pattinson tells the Sun-Times. “This movie is so different from the other ones. The stakes are so much higher because now it’s time to turn the entire saga upside down.”

“The birth scene is frightening,” Pattinson admits. “It’s a slap in the face. It’s failure to Edward, who has to choose between losing Bella and transforming her. It’s the toughest scene I’ve ever had to film in my career because this choice tears out my heart.”

Other films covered include Warrior, Contagion, and The Ides of March.

Another Twilight Parody Movie On The Horizon

The Twilight Examiner did a great job running down this story.

“Back in April, we talked about the fact that another Twilight spoof movie was being developed – after the lackluster Vampires Suck, this seemed a little improbable, but still – and now a few details about the film, which will be called Breaking Wind, have been unveiled…the film comes from Craig Moss, who did The 41-Year-Old Virgin Who Knocked Up Sarah Marshall and Felt Superbad About It.”

Check out the full details on the story over at Twilight Examiner.
