LTT: So what have you been given where you’re, like, “Oh! Okay…that’s interesting…”
SM: What’s the weirdest thing I’ve been given? I been given some really amazing stuff, because someone gave me a quilt that…….I mean, I don’t have words. It’s amazing. Each square was made by someone different. And they depict scenes from different scenes from the book. And it’s lovely.
Someone knitted a giant Twilight book cover with the hand and the apple. It’s a bed-size blanket. And it’s amazing. That took a lot of effort!

Meghan: The drum?
SM: Oh, the drum….that was amazing. That’s one of my
favorite things. From the Quileute Nation, they sent me a drum, and I guess part of the package was “you have to make your first drum,” and it was somebody’s first drum that they had made, and it’s really beautiful. There’s one very similar to it hanging in Emily’s house. That was really cool. But they want things that are funny that I’ve gotten.

We are now on to the next round of the EW Sexy Beast Contest. Robert Pattinson as Edward Cullen pulled ahead of Kellan Lutz as Emmet Cullen ins the last round. Don’t feel too badly for Kellan, because he took out Cam Gigandet as James in an earlier heat. Now Edward as played by Rob is up against Kate Beckinsale’s Seline from Underworld.
Taylor Lautner also survived his last heat. At some point this is headed to the inevitable Team Edward vs. Team Jacob showdown and it’s just going to get ugly
Ashley Greene Talks About Butter With ET

Ashley Greene filmed a small but key role in the movie butter. She plays the stepdaughter of Jennifer Garner’s overly obsessed champion butter carver. ET talked to the cast about their roles. The film, also starring Hugh Jackman and Alicia Silverstone, is slated for an unknown date next year.
Reminder Teen Choice Awards 2010 Voting Closes Tomorrow!

New Moon is heavily represented in several categories at the annual Teen Choice Awards. The awards air on August 9 on Fox at 8:00/7:00.
So far this is who is slated to be in appearance from the Twilight cast. Keep in mind that these appearances change day-to-day because many of the actors are currently filming other projects and have to squeak the awards show in between filming if their schedule allows.
Charley Bewley, Justin Chon, Kiowa Gordon, Ashley Greene, AlexMeraz, Robert Pattinson, Bronson Pelletier, Jackson Rathbone, Nikki Reed, Christian Serratos, Michael Welch.
Currently missing from the line-up are Peter Facinelli (filming Loosies), Kristen Stewart (filming On the Road), Taylor Lautner (filming Abduction), Tinsel Korey (filming in Germany), Kellan Lutz (reshoots on The Immortals).

Seattle Art Museum Features Quileute Heritage: The Real Wolf Story

For the next year, there will be a display at the Seattle Art Museum (SAM) featuring the Quileute Nation and the actual story of how the wolf relates to their tribe. According to their press release:
“Opening Celebration Event, August 14, 2010, 1-3 pm
Join us for a performance by the Quileute Nation Drum Circle, celebrating the opening of the exhibition Behind the Scenes: The Real Story of the Quileute Wolves. Organized in conjunction with the Quileute Nation, this exhibition brings together rare, never-before exhibited art works and creates a public forum for the Quileute people to introduce their culture beyond what is depicted in the Twilight books and films. The wolf plays a major role in the cultural beliefs of the Quileute Native Peoples of coastal Washington. According to oral traditions, the first Quileute people were changed from a pair of wolves into human form by the Transformer, Kwati. This creation legend is central to the Quileute world view, and wolf imagery can be viewed throughout the exhibition. “

Supernatural Actors Talk about Upcoming Vampire Episodes

Welcome to the Rileys Costumer Talks About Working with Kristen Stewart

Kristen Stewart filmed Welcome to the Rileys (a film that is getting lots of positive buzz from the critics that saw it at various film festivals) in between New Moon and Eclipse. The costume designer, Kim Bowen, talks about working with the film’s stars. She seems to echo what others have said about Kristen on the Twilight films, that she is very concerned with doing the right thing for the character and that she cares about her projects.
“Kristen Stewart’s investment in the character:
“Kristen is a very invested actress. She has been doing the Twilight films, and it was very important to her to play this character with a real dose of reality. I don’t think she wanted anything frivolous out of it, I don’t think she wanted to be glamorous. That wasn’t important to her, she wanted it to be real.”
“Kristen is a very courageous actress. She wanted to be fully that character of Mallory. She didn’t care about looking beautiful; in fact she thought quite the opposite. She had the make-up artist cover her with bruises and cold sores. Kristen looked a wreck half the time. She didn’t have any desire to be physically perfect.”

Supernatural To Spoof Twilight and New Vampires Suck Trailer

According to TV Guide:
“We’re doing an episode about how vampires pretending to be Edward Cullen or the Salvatore brothers or Bill Compton are bad for you,” Supernatual showrunner Sera Gamble tells TV Guide Magazine.
At the CW/Showtime/CBS party during the annual Television Critics Association press tour, the creepy drama’s exec producer revealed that one of Season 6’s upcoming episodes (tentatively titled “Live Free or Twi-Hard”) will take fans’ ongoing obsession with undead hotties and hand it to Dean and Sam for a little skewering.”
This should be interesting since there are a lot of Twilight fans who are also Supernatural fans.
Also the Vampires Suck movie that we first told you about a few weeks ago released another teaser and a clip.

After the taping of the Oprah show that featured Kristen Stewart, Taylor Lautner, and Robert Pattinson, the audience was given a certificate that could be redeemed for a fashion version of Bella’s Engagement Ring ™ from Infinite Jewelry.
