Kristen Stewart Issues Official Statement Regarding US Weekly Photos

Usually we don’t really cover things like this, but since Kristen Stewart has issued an official statement(it has been verified as authentic) we are. Earlier today US Weekly published photos of Kristen Stewart in a compromising position with her married, Snow White and the Huntsman director(edited: as has he). The statement was given to People Magazine, which we believe is a sister company to US Weekly.

“I’m deeply sorry for the hurt and embarrassment I’ve caused to those close to me and everyone this has affected. This momentary indiscretion has jeopardized the most important thing in my life, the person I love and respect the most, Rob. I love him, I love him, I’m so sorry,” Stewart said in a statement Wednesday. “

Fansites Interview Ashley Greene, Jackson Rathbone, and Kellan Lutz

The fansites that had representatives at Comic Con were invited to participate in a round table interview with Ashley Greene, Jackson Rathbone, and Kellan Lutz.  I have to say, this was the most unexpected and off the wall interview I’ve ever been a apart of.  At the very start, Kellan took us down a road that none of us expected! But even though it all, it was obvious that these cast members have bonded and become more than just co-workers through the way they can poke fun and laugh at each other.

To make it easier to read, Ashley is in purple, Jackson is in red, and Kellan is in blue.  Everything in black is something that one of the fan site ops said as a question or as a response to their comments.

Fan site interview with Ashley Greene, Jackson Rathbone, and Kellan Lutz.

July 12 2012. Hard Rock Hotel, San Diego, California

If you could do anything besides acting, what would you do?

Kellan: Invent. I love inventing, that’s my first passion. So I would just love to create a bunch of patents, I have a book of 50 right now. So I’d love to be a mad scientist who plays around with chemistry, and solves all the world’s problems and creates a few of them himself.

Did you ever have a mad scientist lab kit when you were a kid?

Kellan: I did. I still do. It’s kind of grown to a “Ren and Stimpy” kind of lab, which is fun.

And who’s your favorite scientist?

Kellan: Michio Kaku. He deals with wormholes. Check him out. He’s great.

Now we’re all going to have to Google him!

Kellan: Him and Albert Einstein, they’re both so ahead of our time. It’s just fascinating to read about them, what their theories are on loopholes and everything else. It’s fascinating stuff.

And if you could play one in a movie, who would you play?

Kellan: Young Albert Einstein.

Jackson: Not Tesla?

Kellan: Tesla is great! Tesla I actually deal with – I have this thing called the Cop Stopper that deals with Tesla’s technology. It’s like a Pokémon ball and you push the button- I want to rob a bank so much – and I’m from the Midwest, so we have like one bank, no security cameras, and so I designed this thing, and I always wondered, you know I watch “Cops” all the time – why doesn’t a drug dealer design a trap door under their car? ‘Cause cops don’t have cameras under the cars, they get you for throwing stuff out the window! If you got a trap door under your car, boom! You would run over it. It would be genius. They would get out of so much. But my Cop Stopper was a Pokémon ball that you push the button and then Tesla’s coils go in and the chemical compound reactions go, so it’s an electrical ball so once you throw it out the window usually, in my idea of robbing a bank, I’d go through an alley way, and what this Pokémon ball would do, is it hits the metal of the cop car (everyone starts laughing)… see you got me going here! It hits the metal of the cop car and drains it completely dead, so the lead cop car stops, stopping all the other pursuing cop cars and you get away Scott free!

(Laughs)

Kellan: How to rob a bank in Iowa.

….Ok, so Ashley and Jackson! (Everyone laughs)

Ashley: (to Kellan) I’m not letting you anywhere near my house.

Jackson: Ok, what was the question?

If you weren’t acting would you be robbing banks or do something else? (laughs)

Ashley: (to Kellan) Well I know who I’m going to hire you to create a security system for me.

Jackson: It’s the brains and the beauty!

Ashley and Jackson, did you spend time filming away from the rest of the group? Because we kind of get the sense that since Jasper and Alice go off to South America, did you guys spend time filming away from the group?

Ashley: We’re on a beach…

Jackson: We’re on a beach with Mai Tai’s. Free margaritas. (laughs)

Ashley: We were out there doing very important things .

Jackson: Yeah, we were robbing banks in Iowa. We did this really cool thing…using Tesla technology.

Ashley: I found this thing in Kellan’s room.

Jackson: Pokémon balls! (laughs)

Ashley: That we cannot tell you because there’s some secrets in the film, so…

So there were a lot of new people that you guys filmed with for the second part of this movie, was there any sort of initiation for the new folks that came on, something like showing them the ropes, or pranks that got pulled on?

Kellan: It was refreshing for sure.

Ashley: I think we were all excited.

Kellan: We were excited to have some new blood.

Ashley: We were tired of each other! (laughs)

So you let them off easy.

Ashley: I feel like everyone kind of knew someone, like 6 degrees of separation. In Hollywood that is very common. It’s so small that everyone has either worked with someone or knows someone who knows someone and so it was kind of easy and fun. And I think there’s something exciting about being, like, “Hey! Welcome to the set!” and making everyone feel welcome, and making it fun, ’cause everybody knows what it’s like to be the new kid.

Kellan: I have one funny story – because we knew we don’t have fangs. But I remember I told Billy (Tangradi) “Dude, where’s your fangs?”, and he was flipping out because then he would have to run back to the hair and make-up trailer, they would be like “You don’t have fangs.” and then he’d run back and I’m like, “Dude, where’s your fangs,” It was great. A little easy.

Do you think that anything’s lost momentum because you filmed both of the films together, and then you put out Part 1, and now all the new vamps are coming out? So has it been kinda hard to get reconnected with everybody?

Ashley: I honestly haven’t seen a lot people since we wrapped, really, but it’s one of those things when you don’t see someone for three months and then you pick right back up where you left off. I think Twilight is very special circumstance, and a special thing to be a part of, so there’s this weird connection to have.

If you were re-pairing the Cullen’s, who would you pick for your characters to be paired with?

Kellan: In what kind of way? (wiggles eyebrows).

Partners!

Ashley: I think that kind of way.

That kind of way!

Jackson: That kind of way?

Kellan: Massage partners…

Jackson: (acting out what he is saying) Raised eyebrows kind of way? Slow head tilt down into the side and maybe a cock…?

Yes.

Jackson: That was terrible. Yeah, no, I don’t think we should do that… (everyone laughs)

Ashley: A lot of people get mad.

Kellan, you mentioned the wifey kiss on the panel today. Are we going to see some Rosalie and Emmett romance?

Kellan: Yeah, I could’ve sworn they showed it in Part 1. I mean, we did it twice in the movie. Hopefully they show it or I’ll just look like a freak. I’m just saying. But finally Rosalie and Emmett finally share a kiss. And there’s all this sexual chemistry between the two characters, and we never really get to dive into that… and… and… (everyone laughs)

No house breaking?

Kellan: Knock down some houses…it’s all of lot of allusion.

Speaking of that, is there any moments that haven’t made into the films for your characters that you wish did, and are there moments that you were, like, “Thank God that did make it!”

Ashley: Apparently him (Kellan) making out Rosalie did not make it in.

Kellan: You know, they both got backstories, and I never really got to show my backstory.

Ashley: Mine didn’t get shown! (Pause)

Kellan: What movies? No, Ashley’s didn’t as well. It was Rosalie’s and Jasper’s. And I wish we could do… there was an excerpt that Stephenie Meyer wrote of “Emmett and the Bear,” and I loved it. It really showed that connection of Edward and Emmett. And I’d loved to see a little backstory of how Emmett reminded Rosalie of a little boy that she had really loved. And how she fell in love with Emmett, and how he was almost dying from the attack, and how she saved him. And I think that’s the one thing that was really lacking is their connection, Rosalie and Emmett’s, and how it’s so pure and strong, and why Emmett just views Rosalie as this guardian angel, you know? I wish they had shown that.

Jackson: I wish they had shown the end of my backstory coming into the Cullen clan, because I think that was really amazing, and magic and beautiful.

Ashley: Yeah.

Jackson: And yeah, we just get into it like, “Civil War! On a horse!”

Ashley: Bye! I was like, “Where is Alice in this?” There’s like a Maria somewhere.

Jackson: Yeah, she’s like, “Who is this Maria chick?”

Ashley: Who is this lady?

Jackson: She comes up, like (bangs the table for emphasis) “I hate this story!” Get to the good part.

Ashley: This is so stupid. (sarcastic) “Are you still filming that? Is that what you’re doing today? That’s great.”

Jackson: Yeah, it would’ve been nice to kinda go into that. I think what Stephenie did with these books is that she created this amazing tapestry with all these, lush, lush textures, you know? Every character is deep, and every character has this side to them that gets revealed here and there in the books, and sometimes it’s really hard to translate that into a film series, even when you have a franchise five films long, it’s still not enough time to really go into it, and dig it.

Ashley: The movies would be two and a half hours long – each of them.

We wouldn’t mind. We would go to them.

Ashley: No, this is the point – you need to keep everyone wanting more. Every character has so much depth, and there was so much thought that went into it, but it would’ve taken away at some point from the main story, and everything I think kind of was woven together really beautifully, so that you cared about everyone, and everyone had their own story, but everything helped the main plotline. And at some point if you had gone into all of our stories in depth that would’ve just kind of been all over the place.

So I asked this at the other panel that we had. Is there anything specific that you learned from your character after all of these years of being with them?

Ashley: Well…

Jackson: You mean learned about ourselves or what we learned about the characters?

That you’ve taken away from the character that’s changed you from your character?

Jackson: I think you always take away a little bit of a character with you, and it kinda like hangs on you for a bit, and then as time kind of goes and wears off a little bit, you know? So I don’t know, for a while there I was playing Jasper so kinda stiff and basically with the idea that he was coming from the army and coming from that world and kind of, ‘uncomfortability’ with it. There was a while there where I found myself always standing sort of just like… (Jackson poses with back straight) being very serious, and it’s not like I am at all. I’m not a very serious person. I’m kind of a goofball. And, yeah, that was kind of with me for a long time. And I just really like the character, and I love the story, I think it’s a very strong character and I respect him. It’s interesting; I respect the character that I play. I don’t understand it, but I do. That’s a good thing. Jackson: I think so, I think so. I never felt like that before with a character.

Ashley: He’s very upstanding.

Jackson: He’s an upstanding guy. Yeah, I like him. He’s good.

Ashley: I like him, too.

Jackson: He can come to my birthday parties.

Ashley: He’s alright. You can bring him next time we hang out.

Jackson: Totally.

Thank you to Ashley, Jackson, and Kellan for talking with us!

Next Movie Power Ranks Twilight Saga Actors

MTV’s Male TwiHard takes a look at Twilight actors using Power rankings. Here’s how they assessed Robert Pattinson’s potential career grid.

2. Robert Pattinson

Floor: Christian Slater
Ceiling: Johnny Depp

My younger readers may balk at a Christian Slater comparison, but in the early ’90s his poster hung on young girls’ walls – right next to Kurt Cobain and Luke Perry. Slater never broke out of his teen heartthrob stage as Johnny Depp did after “21 Jump Street.” Pattinson should keep looking for unique roles as Depp has and not settle for easy schlock as Slater did.

Bill Condon Wraps Breaking Dawn 2 Score With Carter Burwell

Bill Condon missed out on going to Comic Con this year because he was in London at the famous Abbey Road Studio recording the score to Breaking Dawn 2 with Carter Burwell. The trip was a huge success. The Team Jack Twitter just released the following info about Bill Condon’s time there.

Just got off the phone with Bill. He and Carter finished scoring at Abbey Road Studios today and Carter has rocked the score AGAIN: his third TWILIGHT score for those counting, fourth score for Bill. Bill is in love with it. They had 70 musicians playing away on Sunday. MyAnna (Buring, who plays Tanya) has also been hanging out, so that’s been fun.

Fansites Interview with Peter Facinelli, Liz Reaser, and Nikki Reed

The fansites that representatives at Comic Con were invited to a round table interview with Peter Facinelli, Elizabeth Reaser, and Nikki Reed.  It was a great dynamic having this mix in the room together and the three Cullen family members behaved and responded almost like a real family.  We’d like to thank Summit for the opportunity and as well as Peter, Elizabeth, and Nikki for being so great and taking the time to chat with us.

To make things less confusing, Peter is marked in blue, Elizabeth is in purple, and Nikki is in red.  Everything in black is something that one of the fansite ops said during the conversation.

Fan site interview with Peter Facinelli, Elizabeth Reaser and Nikki Reed.

July 12 2012. Hard Rock Hotel, San Diego, California

Q: How difficult was it for you, as your characters, to work with Kristen as a vampire, as opposed to working with her as a human being?

Elizabeth: I mean, I think it was a lot of fun. There’s a scene where she almost kills Taylor. And I believed in the moment that she was strong enough. She really was so committed, whether she was a vampire, Vampire Bella, which is completely different, and she was scary, she was a real force.

Peter: It’s like a whole different person. It was kinda cool. She’s grown to be so mature, and confident and strong. Really, it was like like dealing with a different person altogether. Like, Bella is usually weak and frail. Not weak. But frail as far, you know, a vampire looking at her, and we always felt the need to protect her, and I didn’t feel the need to do that. I felt like this was a woman who could hold her own.

Elizabeth: She could kill us.

Peter: She was stronger than us.

Q: But then was it weird for you? Because one day she would be Vampire Bella, and then the next day she’d be back to being Human Bella. Because you were filming both films simultaneously? Was that odd?

Nikki: Nah…

Elizabeth: And not just Human Bella; like Human Bella falling…

Nikki: apart? (everyone laughs)

And then the next day she was beautiful vampire Bella…

Nikki: That was bizarre.

Elizabeth: Yeah it was weird to see her disfigured like that because it looked so real. It came out great.

Nikki: The last one, Part 1 and 2, that was the only time when my character and Bella wanted to interact and have some friendliness and a smile here and there…

Fighting for the same cause.

Nikki: Exactly. The dynamic was vey different.

Q: Nikki, you made reference earlier in the panel that you’ve kind of grown up together on the set, and we asked Mackenzie this, and I thought it would be fun to ask you, especially with Peter and Elizabeth sitting here. What did you learn growing up (on set) from the other actors that you worked with? I feel like this is something where you benefit from each other, I’m sure.

Nikki: Uhm, I think it would be impossible to go through every single one (actor) and come with the most genuine answer because there’s so many people, and certainly from working with these guys sitting next to me, and say, Billy Burke, and Michael Sheene. You guys (gestures to Peter and Elizabeth) have a body of work that I really admire. I mean, I remember seeing (Elizabeth’s) Sweet Land and saying “I can’t believe she wasn’t nominated for an Oscar!”. So I think getting to work with people like that, you really try to absorb something from it. I look up to these guys, and they also have a great work ethic as well. I think it’s really important when there’s a bunch of us working together to have one person who makes sure that nobody falls off the train, you know what I mean? And keep it together and actually keep each other in line too. It’s been a journey. I mean, it’s been four and a half years, and we’ve all grown a lot. It’s so sad.

Q: And to flip it, is there something that Elizabeth and Peter learned from the younger cast members?

Elizabeth: I never cooked in my life, and now I actually make rice and some vegetables.

Nikki: She cooked meals for me.

(Elizabeth shakes her head)

Nikki: You did!

Elizabeth: I was not at the level that you were at, but just even that I would go to the store and buy vegetables and cook them. None of that ever happened until I met Nikki Reed. But truthfully though, in terms of the work I feel like I was stealing from everyone. I mean, I think Nikki has a commitment when she’s in a scene, and she brings such an energy into the scene, it is unlike anyone else onscreen. And it’s something that is so specific to her. What she did with Rosalie and her creativity, and the way she thinks about the scene and her character, she puts a lot of work into it. And as far as… I’m thinking of the people sitting here, with Peter I’m always listening to the way he talks about these characters, and sort of like stealing his theories, because, again, he’s someone who I really admire, and being in a scene with him, you really can’t half-ass this, you really have to show up and you do the best job that you can, especially because, like Nikki said, we are a team. And you cannot let your team down.

Peter: I think that age doesn’t really matter to me, when you’re working with people that are talented you get inspired. Whether they were younger or older, you do look to the people that you work with and they inspire you in different ways. I was really inspired by the people in this room, and with the other actors that I work with.

Q: So to take it one step further, have you learned anything from your character that surprised you?

Peter: I always say I put a little bit of myself in every character, but I also take a little bit from the character and I walk away with it after I play it. With Carlisle, I think he taught me a lot of patience.

That is his superpower.

Peter: No. It’s compassion.

Compassion! There you go.

Peter: That’s (patience) his secondary superpower.

Peter is schooling us in Twilight today… (laughs).

Peter: He has a lot of patience. He has a lot of wisdom, and he thinks things through and I’ve always admired that in him, and even with my own kids, because Carlisle to me is like the perfect father figure. I always looked at him with my kids, and I learned patience with him.

Q: To the fans, from movie to movie to movie, everyone is always really excited to see the changes, and sometimes not so excited to see the changes. Is there a certain movie that made you think “Wow, I look hot!”? (everyone laughs)

Nikki: I had some real moments with Peter about this. I was like, “Just be honest”.

Peter: I think you looked good in Eclipse. That was the best, when you got to dye. That was your best.

Nikki: I was feeling the same way about that but then someone came in and said “No, I was very disappointed”. You know, you always sort of put your faith into it, and the director, and you believe that they are going to do what’s best, but yeah it’s really bizarre. I don’t know about you guys but my process is that I try not to obsess over what I’m going to look like, I mean I do (laughs) but it’s not the focal point, you know? That was such a priority for a lot of us in these movies, it was like “What do we look like?”.

Elizabeth: What we should look like or what we think we should like. My approach is to always try to simply it, less of everything, less hair, less make-up, less lashes. But it was tricky because I had a wig, I had to dye my hair red, then I had brown hair, then I had really dark hair, then I got highlights. I still don’t know what my hair was like. I would love to know what Stephenie Meyer thinks. But that’s the thing about movies, you know? Sometimes it just gets out of control. There’s so many people!

Nikki: So many people!

Elizabeth: And the next thing you know…you got a fruit on your head.

Peter: It’s not your job if there’s a hair situation… (makes weird hand gestures around his head). There’s a hair dresser, that is their job (everyone laughs). My job is to bring the character to life, their job is to watch out for your hair. So you’re in constant battles with that person, because you’re, like, “I wanna look good”. They’re trying to make you look a certain way, and I’m like… at a certain point you have to be like, “Ok, that’s their job and you have to let them do their job”. There were times when I looked in the mirror and I looked like a cross between a ‘Ken doll’ and Ronald McDonald.

Nikki: Is that because what I said that time?

Peter: You might’ve put that in my mind.

Nikki: But you know what? I think it’s fair to say that we have switched department heads for hair and make-up for every single film. Which was hard because we had a new person every time.

Peter: A new person we had to trust.

Elizabeth: And they had a lot of challenges.

Nikki: Yeah. Peter:… and they wanted to always fix the one before, you know, or put a new stamp on what they were doing.

Q: Do you have a personal favorite?

Peter: I like the hair in Twilight because that was my hair and I dyed it. If I had to choose wigs, which was 2, 3, 4, 5…

Elizabeth: Not 4 or 5 (everyone laughs)

Peter: There were moments in 4 and 5…

Elizabeth: All had their moments (everyone laughs).

Nikki: This is a sensitive subject for Peter and I because we’re the ones that sit down in front of people and had people go like, “Wow, you guys actually are really good looking in person!”. That’s what people say the most about us.

Peter: In Eclipse it wasn’t so bad, I mean it was a little short but if I had to pick I guess I would go with Twilight.

Ashley Greene is Nylon Magazine’s August Cover Model

Ashley Greene is rocking out the cover of this August’s issue of Nylon.

On keeping her waitressing gig after booking Twilight: I was working at the Belmont Cafe in L.A., got the call, and two weeks later was rehearsing. Right when I was cast, my IMDb STARmeter [a chart that tracks actors based on how many searches are done on them] went through the roof — all of ours did, and we hadn’t even done anything yet!. I asked my boss if I could have my job back after the shoot. He was like, “I don’t think you’ll need it but OK.”

On drawing from life experience for characters:
Growing up, I didn’t have a hard life. Luckily, people are not the greatest in L.A., so once I got here and my heart was broken and people stabbed me in the back, I could use that to feel vulnerable.

On being typecast post-Twilight: It’s not like, ‘Oh, you’re the quirky best friend-slash-sister’. There’s no stereotype with Alice. And she doesn’t really look anything like me, with the pixie cut and the white makeup. So to be put in a box, I’d kind of have to do it myself. And I’m not going to do that.

Check out more (including a great photo gallery) on Nylon and grab the issue on news stands.

Mackenzie Foy: Working with CGI, the Swear Jar, Dr. Guri, and More!

Those fansites with representatives at Comic Con were invited to participate in a round table interview with Mackenzie Foy.  I can’t even begin to tell you how precious and sweet and just really down to earth this girl is!  She was delightful to chat with and so poised!  We were even granted the chance to take a photo with her.

We covered so much information in the interview that I’m curious to know what our readers found the most interesting.  I’m also curious to know if there is a question we should have asked that you’ve been dying to know!  So leave us a comment and tell us how we did on our first interview with Mackenzie!

Mackenzie Foy Fansite Interview

July 12 2012. Hard Rock Hotel, San Diego, California

Q: I’d really like to know what you learned about acting from the other cast members that you got to work with?

M: Well, I learned the most by watching them because they would be themselves and then they would become the character that they become.

Q: Is there one thing that you learned by watching one person in particular, that you took in and thought “I want to be able to do that”?

M: There’s some cool stunts that everyone did, there’s a couple of flips and I thought that was very cool.

Q: Now do you want to do gymnastics?

M: (Laughs) No…

Q: You mentioned stunts in the panel… That you got to ride on the back of the ‘wolf Jacob’. Was that a stunt? Were you on a harness or something?

M: I was on a harness… It was really cool.

Q: You can’t tell us anything more? M: No! Q: They’ve got you trained!

M: (Laughs)

Q: Now, on the press conference you mentioned the swear jar… Who was the biggest offender?

M: Like I said, I don’t want anybody else to get in trouble! (laughs)

Q: Is there anybody who didn’t have to put any quarters in the swear jar?

M: Um… Stephenie (Meyer), Taylor (Lautner), Noel (Fisher), Dr. Guri (Weinberg), and there were some other people like Miss Tracey (Heggins), Miss Judi (Shekoni). Most of the Cullen guys. They didn’t say any swear words. Oh! And Miss Ashley (Greene). She didn’t say any.

Q: So, how much about Twilight did you know before you were cast for the part?

M: I knew about the first movie and the second movie.

Q: So you didn’t know they had a vampire hybrid baby?

M: I did kind of know because my friends would talk about it at Tae Kwon Do, and they would talk about the books and stuff to me.

Q: Have you since then read any of the books?

M: No, I’m not allowed to read them yet.

Q: So how did your friends respond to you being cast for the part?

M: I was really, really, really excited.

Q: And what about your friends?

M: They were really excited too, they were really sweet and very supportive.

Q: How did you enjoy meeting the fans last night outside in the line?

M: I was happy because they were all really excited to see me and my friends. When I’d take a picture with somebody and sign an autograph they’d be really excited and that makes me really happy.

Q: Is there anything from the set, outfits or mementos that you got to take home or wanted to take home?

M: I got to keep a clip for my hair. It had a pretty little dragonfly on it and I got to keep it.

Q: Did they just use your hair or did they use some enhancements on your hair?

M: I had like half a wig, and it was shaped around my head and that way I could have super long curly hair. And they would have my hair over it (gestures to top layer of hair) and they would curl it and stuff.

Q: How long did it take you to get into your make up and hair?

M: About, like, 20 minutes or something? Q: You had it easy! M: (Laughs).

Q: Since you’re not allowed to read the books, were you allowed to watched the first Twilight movie?

M: I did. I watched the first and the second one, and I saw bits and pieces of Part 1.

Q: You were not allowed to watch the honeymoon, right?

M: No!

Q: You have good parents! You have very good parents!

M: I got to watch the wedding, and I sat through the birth scene.

Q: So what was your favorite part in the movies that you’ve seen?

M: I think they’re all really good. I like in the first one, how… I just like the first one. And I like the second one too, and all the parts I saw of Part 1.

Q: Did you like the wedding scene?

M: I thought it was really, really good.

Q: What was your first time meeting, Taylor, Kristen and Rob like?

M: Well I met Kristen and Rob in the hair and make up trailer, and I think the first time I met Taylor was… in the first scene actually.

Q: Really? And you didn’t meet him before?

M: I don’t think I did! (long pause…)

Q: Was that awkward?

M: (laughs) No…

Q: Was he just like a big brother?

M: He was like a good friend.

Q: Did you have to go through any CGI work on the computer and make really cool stuff happen?

M: I did. I had to get a face scan, a body scan, and then I would have to sit on this chair that was like, surrounded by lights and cameras, and I had to sit and couldn’t move my head. I had to make facial expressions, and move my body without moving my head.

Q: Was Bill Condon there? Did he direct you?

M: He was there for most… I think he missed two? Because he was busy with other stuff.

Q: Did you like Bill?

M: I did, he was really sweet.

Q: Were there any interesting conversations that you had with Stephenie about the character?

M: No.

Q: Are you hoping for Renesmee to get her own spin off?

M: That would be fun!

Q: Would you be up for it?

M: Totally!

Q: How do you feel about the name Renesmee and the nickname Nessie?

M: I like it. I think it’s a really cool name because it’s like Renee and Esme. And I like the character that I play and that they call her Nessie, I think it’s cute.

Q: Did you get a chance to interact with the other actors who play the Cullens?

M: I did! With Miss Nikki we had American Idol night, and I played football with Taylor, I’m not very good at it (laughs).

Q: When you wrapped up did they show up for your last scene?

M: Yeah, it was just me and Kristen.

Q: You were the final two?

M: Yes.

Q: But the rest of the crew probably showed up right? “That’s a wrap on Mackenzie”!

M: The crew was there and the visual effects guy and all that stuff, because it had to do with the wolves. All the other cast, they weren’t wrapped yet, they just had the day off so it was just me and Kristen. It was nice.

Q: Did you have to act younger than you are now?

M: Um, I did. But it was like a body double, that way I have different bodies (in the movie) and they would have to put my face on their bodies. It’s kinda cool.

Q: If you came to Comic-Con, and not as a part of Twilight, what would you dress up as?

M: A traffic cone.

Q: Do you think you’re going to enjoy any of Comic-Con after today’s over?

M: I don’t know. But my dad is checking it out right now. I’m like “There’s an incredible Hulk t-shirt, you should get me one!”

Q: Have you had any encounters where you’ve been spotted outside of events like these, where someone has recognized you?

M: Yes, I got noticed at the mall once.

Q: And did you have to take a picture or sign an autograph?

M: I took a picture with her.

Q: While they were filming, they filmed both movies at the same time, did you ever have one of the cast members come and be confused about shooting a film or a part for part 1 or part 2, was that confusing for anybody?

M: No, because we had two different films but we shot them simultaneously. So you get a mini-script where you get the scenes for the day, and it says if it’s for part 1 or part 2, and what the scene is.

Q: Right, and you didn’t have to worry too much about it because you were only on part two.

M: (laughs).

Q: Who was the biggest prankster on set? Or the biggest jokester?

M: Rob was pretty funny. He had some pretty funny jokes.

Q: He made you laugh a lot?

M: Yes. And Mr. Guri, he was really funny too.

Q: He is very funny.

M: He was, like, “Don’t call me Mr. Guri!” and then I said “Ok, Dr. Guri”. and now I call him Dr Guri.

Q: What’s your favorite part of being Renesmee?

M: I like all of it. It was my first movie character, and she’s a really good character to play because there’s just so many things involved in the character.

Q: Do you have new things coming out?

M: I do. I have a new film coming out called The Warren Files, and a new independent film called Plastic Jesus.

Q: I have to ask, do you like cats or dogs better?

M: I love dogs and cats, because I have two dogs and one cat.

Q: Well, that is probably better for Jacob in the long run.

M: (Laughs). I like dogs, they’re really cute. And I love kittens, they’re so soft.

Q: They were talking about how you lost a tooth during the filming?

M: I lost like five.

Q: So did you have like one of those bridges in?

M: I think I had like four flippers. And I lost a molar, but it was ok with that one.

Q: And now you have all your teeth.

M: Yes, I do. I have all my big girl teeth. I am growing new molars in the back.

Q: So did you have to go to the dentist and get the flippers set several different times?

M: I had to go to the flipper Doctor. I usually go to one here, well not here-here but in LA. Dr. Smith, he’s the flipper Doctor. And I had another flipper Doctor in Vancouver.

Q: Did you film primarily just in Vancouver, or were you able to go to New Orleans also?

M: We had to shoot some of it in North Carolina, not North Carolina, Louisiana (laughs) and then we did in Vancouver.

Q: Awesome. Did you get to visit any cool places on your days off?

M: I did. We went to like this swampy kind of thing? (laughs). And we went to Cafe Du Monde.

Q: And are you looking forward to being part of the movie promo worldwide? And is there a country that you would like to visit?

M: I would like to visit China, I would like to visit London and Italy. I like Italy.

Q: Do you think you’ll get to go on something like The Tonight Show or David Letterman?

M: I don’t know!

Q: Have you thought about that?

M: I haven’t! (nervously).

Q: Oh, no, now I scared her! She’s going to panic, oh, no! Would you like to do something like that?

M: It would be fun! I’d like to go on The Ellen Show.

Q: You can show Ellen some of your Tae Kwon Do. That would be a great episode.

M: Yes!

Thanks to Mackenzie for talking with us!
