Robert Pattinson Meets Sharon Stone

Popsugar has a caption contest going for this photo.

Maybe, “As a matter of fact they call me cougar killer?”

Jackson Rathbone’s Upcoming Gigs

This weekend 100 Monkeys are playing in Philadelphia.  The 3:00 show is for all ages so under 21’s  no worries, you can get in. The 9:00 show is 21+.  We will be there to cover the show.

It looks like Jackson’s work on The Last Airbender is going to prepare him for an upcoming role, or at the the Greenland weather that he endured will.  He will also likely get to use some of his muscial training. Jackson will be filming in Norway. The film is a dark one called Lords of Chaos. Jackson will play Varg Vikernes, former leader of the Norwegian black metal band Burzum.

Check out the details on Rolling Stone.

The Eagle Has…er…Robert Pattinson Has Landed

Robert Pattinson’s whirlwind Cannes experience is now over. He has landed in Italy and will await the arrival of Kristen Stewart, Ashley Greene, and presumably Dakota Fanning, Charlie Bewley, and Daniel Cudmore to shoot the the exterior Volterra scenes in Montepulciano.

Things on the town square set are progressing. According to Twilighters 2.0 They just field tested the fountain, and it was a success: the water ran and it didn’t cause a flood. (Photo credit to Twilighters Italia)

It remains to be seen whether or not any interiors are shot since Michael Sheen and Jamie Campbell Bower both Tweeted awhile back that they wrapped shooting. Michael also commented to a reporter in Wales this week that he had finished shooting New Moon. An even better indicator of whether or not they are shooting New Moon interiors may be Justine Wachsberger who tonight is appearing on Vamp Talk Radio. Presumably, as Gianna, she is only involved in the interior scenes. So, if she’s talking about having finished filming tonight, it looks like they are pretty much sticking to outdoors.

Speaking of Twitter, ET’s Thea Andrews Tweeted, “Just got word of another top secret mission for an ET on-set exclusive. Booking my ticket to Europe. Sworn to secrecy on this one for now…” So it looks like ET will again be on the set.

Live Interviews Today

Sam Bradley,  whose song, Never Think, is performed by Robert Pattinson on the Twilight Soundtrack will be interviewed by UCLA radio today between 2:00 and 4:00 Pacific Time. You can listen in live over the Internet. See the UCLA and click on the “Listen Live” button at the top of the page. TY to Christina for the heads up.

Justine Wachsberger who plays Gianna will be interviewed by Vamp Radio tonight. Check out the details on Vamp Radio.

Lexicon hint: Someone ask her if she is done filming and if she is filming in Italy. It’s the easiest way to find out if they are doing interiors in Italy this week.

Last Airbender and Eclipse Go head-To-Head

USA Today has an article featuring the first set photos of The Last Airbender, the M. Night Shyamalan film that Jackson Rathbone is currently shooting in Philadelphia. The photos and article make it clear that ( as you would expect in this series if you know the plot ) that the action sequences are going to be awesome especially since two of the leads are able to do many of their own stunts given that they have a martial arts background.

However there is a more interesting fact revealed in the article: “the show that opens July 2, 2010” that’s two days after Eclipse opens. So it looks like Jackson’s film and Eclipse are going to be battling for your box office dollar the same weekend.

What do you think the battle with Victoria and the newborn army as directed by David Slade, or the battle to regain control of a world directed by M. Night Shyamalan which will win out at the box office?
