CNN Wants Your Video Questions

CNN just brought this to our attention, and this is actually pretty cool. Instead of just saying, “Kelli from Muncie wants to know…” you get to actually be on CNN (granted on tape) asking your question.
“Calling all Twi-hards: What if you had 15 seconds to ask anything you want of the cast of “The Twilight Saga: Eclipse?” Well, now you do!
Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, Taylor Lautner, Dakota Fanning and the rest of the cast will be sitting down with CNN this weekend and will be taking your iReport questions on video.”
Bree Tanner Rocking the UK Sales Charts

According to the UK newspaper The Guardian,
“Meyer’s The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner, told from the perspective of a newly created vampire, was published in the UK at 5.05am on 5 June and went on to sell almost 90,000 copies that day – taking the number one slot “by a hefty margin”, according to book sales monitor Nielsen BookScan. This is despite Meyer making the book available for free online until 5 July.
“People were queuing at our Milton Keynes branch from 4.30am,” said Waterstone’s spokesman Jon Howells. Copies of the strictly-embargoed book were delivered to Waterstone’s Piccadilly branch in a coffin.
“It’s our fastest-selling book so far this year and it may be the fastest-selling book of the year … it will be pretty tough to beat it,” Howells said. “It’s our biggest book since Dan Brown’s The Lost Symbol. Offering it online for free is a nice touch [but] I don’t think it’s a big deal. Pretty much every Twilight fan will want not just to read it, but also to own it. It’s shaping up to be a big ‘un.”

The New York Times Bestseller list that The Second Short Life of Bree Tanner qualifies for won’t be out until June 20. There is always a two-week lag between release and tracking for that list. Other noted lists like The Wall street journal and USA today should be available next week.

Ashley Greene and Kristen Stewart: Two Stars Same Shirt

It’s no secret that the two Twilight stars that appear in fashion magazine spreads the most frequently are Kristen Stewart and Ashley Greene. Generally, in these spreads, they have had very different looks and attitudes regarding fashion. Ashley is very up on different designers and specific looks that she wants to emulate. On the other hand, Kristen has frequently stated that she doesn’t have a personal style icon or look that she goes for, and she loves kicking around in jeans and tees.
Well, it seems on their downtime they may have some fashion items in common. The UK edition of Marie Claire made the connection.
“Both tapping the tank for downtime style moments, Ashley, who plays Alice Cullen in the vampire saga, was the first in line, spotted in hers back in January. She teamed the motif top wide-leg straight blue jeans, worn with heels.
Onto K-Stew – spotted out and about in Australia last month – who styled up her fashion match in signature dress-down mode, adding faded black skinny jeans, a hoodie, monochrome sneakers and her favourite beanie.”

Billy Burke To Play The House of Blues

For those of you in the Los Angeles area, Billy Burke is playing at the famous House of Blues on June 22, 2010 for his official record release. Billy tweeted the information late last night. The House of Blues site hasn’t updated yet, but when they do you can grab tickets here.
