Former Castmates Support Robert Pattinson

According to the UK entertainment site Digital Spy, both Daniel Radcliffe (Harry Potter) and Tom Felton (Draco Malfoy) who were once castmates of Robert Pattinson in the Goblet of Fire movie voiced their support of Rob’s career at a Harry Potter press junket.

Daniel Radcliffe stated, “I won’t pretend we’re best mates or knew each other really well but we really enjoyed working with each other, or at least I enjoyed working with him! He’s doing brilliantly, which is fantastic.”

Tom Felton said, “It’s just great to see someone who has been in Harry Potter have a life after it, and a much bigger one! So I wish him all the success and I will see Twilight soon, I promise!”

Also Jamie Campbell Bower who has a role in the next Potter film was spotted at the Potter premiere last night.

The Movie Fanatic: Best Twilight Sites

The Movie Fanatic is doing their yearly article on the best Twilight sites,

“tMF is also about to begin our third search for the best Twilight fansites, and would like to ask the help of the fans to narrow down the field and enable us to once again pick the sites that are really making a difference.

Aside from those we’ve already mentioned, are there some new kids on the block worthy of a mention? Tell us and we’ll check them out, find out what makes them special and come up with a new top 3 list!”

So check out the sites (we are there) that Jed and crew at tMF have already mentioned and give the tMF crew your opinion.

Rumor Control: Kristen Stewart Pregnant

So the latest that is making our inbox churn is people wanting to know if Kristen Stewart is pregnant with Robert Pattinson’s love child.  We were pretty much ignoring this latest tabloid driven story which jumped from the ridiculous to the utterly absurd in the last 24 hours until it took over our inbox.

Now we don’t have a pipeline into Kristen’s private life, but here’s the facts, such as they are, and you can decide for yourself:

The original source is an Australian gossip magazine whose headlines aside from the Kristen story were: Jen [Aniston] Tears Over Brad, Britney Spears Getting Married, and Michael Jackson’s Death, Was It Murder. So, you judge the credibility. The inside story goes on to state that Kristen sent a friend out for a pregnancy test because she was afraid to go to the drug store and be spotted getting one. The said friend then went and blabbed to someone who told the Australia-based magazine.

Now let’s think about this a second. Kristen has pretty much grown up in the business and realizes how rumors start, and knows that media eyes are on her.  She’d risk sending “a friend” to get the test, especially one who can’t keep his/her mouth shut?  Two words: mail order!

Now it gets better. We thought we had seen just about everything on this latest rumor and then it jumped the proverbial shark. Another gossip website states that Kristen responded to the rumor via her Twitter, yet they don’t cite what Twitter account that was, yet they quote it.  Now putting aside the fact that Kristen doesn’t have a Twitter, let’s think about this.  In a series of Tweets Kristen supposedly says that her publicist could have made up the rumor. In our opinion, when you have a career as big and hot right now as Kristen Stewart’s, no publicist (if they value their job and reputation) starts a pregnancy rumor.  It’s not like Kristen isn’t getting a ton of PR via Runaways and New Moon. She would need a pregnancy rumor to attract additional attention because why exactly?

Next, Ted Casablanca, the one of the kings of Hollywood gossip is calling people out and saying BS.  Now, when your rumor is at the point when a guy who makes his livelihood trading in rumor is pretty much going, “yeah right” instead of playing along (he also called BS on the “cab attacks Rob” and with logical back up)…you decide.

So in the end, for all we know Rob is sleeping with a fuzzy blue bear named Fred and Kristen curls up around a much loved and mangled Cabbage Patch doll.  Hmm…maybe the bear and the Cabbage Patch Doll are getting it on? 🙂

Comic Con Attendee Recap

There’s been a lot in the news lately as to who is and isn’t attending Comic Con.  Below is a recap of what we know so far and what the source is. Keep in mind however that this could all change if an actor’s schedule changes, or even if the traffic on the Interstate out of LA is a nightmare. Billy Burke: Confirmed via his Twitter that he would be there, but didn’t specify the date.

Rachelle LeFevere: Confirmed via her Twitter that she would be there, but didn’t specify the date.

Robert Pattinson:Confirmed he will be there via a call to his management placed by Spunk Ransom website’s Twitter.

Robert Pattinson At Comic Con and Teen Choice Awards?

The Spunk Ransom site called Robert Pattinson’s management company and, according to their Twitter, was given the following information:

We just confirmed Rob is scheduled to attend Comic Con and the Teen Choice Awards – pending scheduling conflicts! We will re-confirm again!…We called Rob’s management and spoke with Devon – she said he is confirmed unless a scheduling conflict occurs.”

Keep in mind that Rob is still actively filming Remember Me, and his schedule is subject to change.

Justin Chon in J-14

Justin Chon gave a quick interview to J-14:

J-14: In Twilight, did you draw from your own high school experience to flirt with Bella Swan in the cafeteria?
Justin Chon: Of course. As an actor you’re always trying to draw from real stuff to make it real, but I would say in acting terms, you use like substitutions and you think back to the moment. I just tried to make him as awkward as possible and just overly excited about everything.

J-14: What was it like flirting with Kristen Stewart?
Justin: Her character is just really awkward. So you put two really awkward people together and it’s just a really funny thing to see them try and have a fluid conversation.”

Robert Pattinson Interview Translated

Bits and pieces of this interview may have appeared online before because some of the questions and answers are really familiar. However it’s now in all one place for the first time. Twilight Poison has translated an interview that Robert Pattinson gave to Los 40 Principales magazine.

A year ago I couldn’t get a date. Now the world has gone backwards. I can have any 14 year old that I want.” says the British actor Robert Pattinson, who has become overnight, the new It Boy thanks to his character Edward Cullen.

What do fans say about you when they meet you in person?
They are increadibly opinionated. They have very clear ideas as to how I should live my life. Who knew 15 years old could be so moralistic?”
