The Top 10 Fictional Vampires

Now we have to say that we are a little mystified that why the adjective fictional is needed here…as opposed to the real vampires? Maybe they mean the people who think they are vampires? We don’t know. Anyway, The Insider has put Edward Cullen as portrayed by Robert Pattinson at the top of their list.

The photo is by Amy Howe, who incidentally did Kaleb Nation’s Bran Hambric photos.

Check the entire rundown on The Insider.

Hollywood.com: 15 Things About Robert Pattinson

Hollywood.com decided to do something interesting with their New Moon set visit. They broke it down into a list of 15 things that they noticed about Robert Pattinson while there. We loved this one the most:

“2. Like the rest of the cast, Pattinson’s canvas director’s chair had his character’s name (that would be “Edward Cullen”) embroidered on the backrest. On Robert’s chair, however, “Edward Cullen” was covered with yellow tape, on which “ROBERT” was written in bold black marker. Seems our fantasy boy likes to keep things “real.”

Another Cover Shot For Robert Pattinson

Mark Malkin over at E! has unearthed the following information:

Robert Pattinson has another magazine cover coming up—and thankfully, it’s not some far-fetched tabloid bullcrap this time around.

Mr. Pattinson, I’m told, has landed himself on the cover of probably the most coveted of monthlies—Vanity Fair!”

You can check out Mark’s full story on E!.

E! Also has the details on the Teen choice awards where Taylor Lautner and Ashley Greene are confirmed as presenters and Robert Pattinson (barring filming issues) is also rumored to be there.

Twilight may have been ignored at the Oscars, Golden Globes and the like, but the vampire movie is scoring where it really counts—with the kids!

The Robert Pattinson romance earned an even dozen 2009 Teen Choice Award nominations, including Choice Movie: Drama and Choice Movie: Romance.”

Newly Unearthed Robert Pattinson Photoshoot

This just in from US Weekly:

“11 days before Twilight premiered — photographer Theo Wenner spent five hours in NYC snapping photos of Robert Pattinson for Rolling Stone magazine. This week’s issue of Us Weekly (on stands nationwide this Friday) features a 6 page exclusive with never-before-seen photos from the secret shoot.”

It’s really nice to see Rob looking relaxed at a photoshoot before all the mayhem started. What do you think?

Robert Pattinson At Comic Con and Teen Choice Awards?

The Spunk Ransom site called Robert Pattinson’s management company and, according to their Twitter, was given the following information:

We just confirmed Rob is scheduled to attend Comic Con and the Teen Choice Awards – pending scheduling conflicts! We will re-confirm again!…We called Rob’s management and spoke with Devon – she said he is confirmed unless a scheduling conflict occurs.”

Keep in mind that Rob is still actively filming Remember Me, and his schedule is subject to change.

Robert Pattinson Interview Translated

Bits and pieces of this interview may have appeared online before because some of the questions and answers are really familiar. However it’s now in all one place for the first time. Twilight Poison has translated an interview that Robert Pattinson gave to Los 40 Principales magazine.

A year ago I couldn’t get a date. Now the world has gone backwards. I can have any 14 year old that I want.” says the British actor Robert Pattinson, who has become overnight, the new It Boy thanks to his character Edward Cullen.

What do fans say about you when they meet you in person?
They are increadibly opinionated. They have very clear ideas as to how I should live my life. Who knew 15 years old could be so moralistic?”

TMF: Which of Robert Pattison’s Upcoming Movies Will Be A Hit

Without risking the wrath of rabid Rob Pattinson fans, we think we can safely say that though Little Ashes and How To Be were not runaway box office hits. Now granted, they were small indie movie ventures, and we don’t think anyone intended them to be blockbusters.

Let’s flashforward, Rob now has multiple upcoming projects ranging from modern-day, New York City-based love stories to period costume dramas. The Movie Fanatic delves into what we can expect from Rob’s upcoming work, and asks which will rise to the top on the screen.

Check it all out on The Movie Fanatic.

TMF Readers Voice Robert Pattinson Opinions

The Movie Fanatic (the only industry blogger and media source to cover Twilight in the early days besides MTV) just posted the results of its readers’ survey entitled: Is Rob Pattinson Worth All The Hype. Some of the questions that TMF asked its readers to consider in their response were the following:

1. Is Robert Pattinson all hype and no (or little) talent?

2. Do you think Rob has improved his ways in dealing with the media frenzy from the time he was cast in Twilight until now?

3. Which of Rob’s up and coming movies (choose only 1) do you think would further give him the critical acclaim he deserve?

4. Who is Rob’s most important rival as Hollywood’s Next Golden Boy?

5. Name the actress (aside from Kristen Stewart) who would look awesome acting alongside Rob and would generate a lot of buzz?

As usual the crew over at TMF gives a quality article that doesn’t just scratch the surface. Check it all out on The Movie Fanatic.

Robert Pattinson in Cuffs

Everyone take a moment and get their mind back in PG-13 mode.  OK now that you are refocused, Robert Pattinson continues to film Remember Me, an upcoming film for Summit Entertainment, in various locations in and around New York City.

Many of the movies scenes include exterior shots that have been captured by press and fans alike. RadarOnline has the latest one of Rob “being arrested” for the film.

Robert Pattinson: Sexiest Man on the Planet

Well at least according to the UK-based Heat magazine he is.

According to the magazine’s editor Julian Linley, “[Robert]is obviously very easy on the eye, but a lot of his popularity has to be down to the character Edward he plays in Twilight – strong, brooding and tortured, basically most women’s fantasy boyfriend”.

You can buy a copy of the magazine when it hits newsstands on Friday.
