Robert Pattinson Signed Guitar on Ebay

rob guitarRobert Pattinson signed a brand new Fender Telecaster guitar for the charity The Midnight Mission.  For some reason it has no bids. Now granted we are in a tough economy, but the guitar alone is worth at least $800.  So if you want something signed and played by Rob, now is your chance.

The charity that is being helped support the homeless. According to their website  “We provide an array of life changing services for homeless men, women and children. They include education, job training and placement, drug and alcohol treatment and referral services. Additionally, we provide basic subsistence services and transitional housing for families.”

So, get the word out. There are only three days left to make this yours and we know, someone out there wants this guitar!

TY to Jessica for bringing that fact that this had no bids on it to our attention!

Lexicon Review: Remember Me, the Non-New Yorker’s View

Both Be My escape and Pel had the opportunity to see remember Me at a prescreening. First up we have Jen’s (Be My Escape’s) review. Pel’s will be up in a bit (she’s been working 14 hours days and is a little tired right now.) Please be aware that like with any review there are spoilers involved. So without further ado, Jen’s review:

I was lucky enough to see Remember Me at a screening a few weeks ago. I have to say I didn’t go in with any expectations. I hadn’t even really explored what the movie was about except that Rob Pattinson was in it and that wasn’t necessarily my motivation for seeing the film. I was pleasantly surprised by the depth of the script. New York City was used as the backdrop but the usual iconic scenery wasn’t rammed down your throat. It was a nice change of pace. Allen Coulter clearly took care in presenting the city in a way that people who live there can respect and understand. [Read more…]

Robert Pattinson Defends Chris Weitz

The video clip above gives a little teaser of teh interview found here. Our favorite part is quoted below:

“A lesson in anger control.
“While we were filming, one of the security guys saw me getting more and more upset with the paparazzi guys. He just sort of came up and was like, ‘Imagine going out there and trying to hit one of them while, let’s say, 40 cameras are clicking away.’ That was enough to kind of calm my frustration. But, at the end of the day, you can’t say, ‘I’m not doing it until these people go away.’ You have to keep acting. So it was definitely way more intense than any of the Twilight films.”

Maybe he skips the reviews.
“I didn’t like the way New Moon was treated by the critics. I think it was reviewed in the context of just being a big franchise movie. When something is so hyped, inevitably, there is a backlash against it. I think Chris Weitz is an amazing director. I really enjoyed the film. So the naysayers kind of annoyed me.”
