Best kiss of the decade

At the opening of their new London department store, Selfridges held a survey to find out the top kisses of the past decade.  Coming in at number one on their list was the kiss between Edward and Bella in “Twilight.”  Considering the current fan frenzy and media hype surrounding the “are they/aren’t they” relationship of Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart, this shouldn’t be a big surprise.  Other kisses on the list include the upside down Spider-man kiss and the kiss from Brokeback Mountain.   Entertainment Wise has the details including a slide show of photos of Kristen and Rob.

Win a Red Cloak From Volterra

You can help the victims of the Haitian earthquake and win a New Moon costume at the same time.  Eric Moro, the Editor in Chief of IGN Movies, writes:

” I wanted to let you know that we are hosting a very special eBay auction – all proceeds from the auction are going to Habitat for Humanity to help those affected by the earthquake in Haiti. The reason why I’m writing is because we have a cool piece of costuming used in NEW MOON that’s being auctioned off. It’s one of the eye-popping red robes worn during the shooting of the San Marco’s Day Festival in Volterra, Italy.”

Check out the Ebay auction here.

Stars Hit the Convention Circuit

Peter Facinelli talked to The Tennessean about why he choses to do conventions and signing events.

“What are these conventions like for you?

Whenever you have something in common and get together and share your excitement, it’s a great thing. There are Q-and-As with the actors; you get to take pictures with them, get autographs, signatures with them. For me, it’s a fun way to connect with the fans and just have a moment where they can ask questions.

I’m a fan of the books, and I actually enjoy getting together with other fans of the books. When I was a kid growing up, if I looked up to somebody, if I could have been sitting down with Paul Newman to talk about Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, that would have been really exciting. I look at it the other way around now, being able to sit down with fans of the movies. I love to be able to give back, in that sense.”

Peter is appearing in Nashville this weekend at the Creation Convention with: Michael Welch, Gil Birmingham(just added), Daniel Cudmore, Charlie Bewley, Kiowa Gordon, and Bronson Pelletier.

You can catch other stars at upcoming events:

Chaske Spencer at a Worchester Sharks Hockey Game.

Daniel Cudmore at Dallas Comic Con

ET: Peter Facinelli on Twitter, Cooper, and Carlisle

Peter_FacinelliET caught up with Peter Facinelli and asked him to recap a whirlwind year and to tell us what’s up for 2010.

“It’s been a busy year for ‘The Twilight Saga’ star Peter Facinelli who has been juggling his schedule between shooting ‘Eclipse,’ the next film in the vampire franchise, with his role as Dr. Fitch Cooper on “Nurse Jackie.” ET caught up with the jet-lagged actor to talk about both projects and his addiction to Twitter.

ET: You have a huge following on Twitter. What made you start?

Peter Facinelli: I just enjoy what Twitter is because I can really connect with the fans. It is a great way to share information with them and it is a good way to entertain. I like being able to put a smile on people’s faces and mix that up with sharing information with them. That’s important. Also, letting them know what I am doing. I have had people come to me and say, “Will you tweet this out?” There is like paid advertisement stuff. I am not into that. I want to keep my Twitter pure. I don’t want to sell my followers anything, I want to be able to have that base, so I can tell them what I am doing and entertain them

ET: What will we learn about Dr. Carlisle Cullen in ‘Eclipse’?

Peter Facinelli: You get to see a side of Carlisle you haven’t seen before. There are some great battle sequences.”
