Bella’s Engagement Ring, By Infinite Jewelry
It seems like the entire web is abuzz about the Bella’s Engagement ring by Infinite Jewelry. We’ve known about the ring for a couple of years now. The company that produces them specifically worked with Stephenie Meyer so that the ring that they have is the ring that she had in her mind when she wrote in Eclipse: “The face was a long oval, set with slanting rows of glittering round stones. The band was gold—delicate and narrow. The gold made a fragile web around the diamonds. I’d never seen anything like it.” The way the diamonds appear, very low-set, was the way rings were constructed at the turn of the last century.
Both Pel and Alphie have the ring. You can see it featured in the video below, but the photography doesn’t really do it justice. Check it out at Infinite Jewelry’s website. All their products come with a lifetime guarantee, meaning if it gets damaged they’ll fix it no questions asked. If you have one of their products (bracelet, ring, etc) leave a comment so other readers can ask you questions.

Kristen Stewart in Elle Magazine June Issue
Elle Magazine has several tidbits from their upcoming issue with Kristen Stewart:
“On the madness that has become her life: “It’s insane! Once somebody finds out, you have to get the hell out of wherever you are. People freak out. And the photographers, they’re vicious. They’re mean. They’re like thugs. I don’t event want to drive around by myself anymore. It’s f–ing dangerous.”
On her red-carpet demeanor: “People say that I’m miserable all the time. It’s not that I’m miserable, it’s just that somebody’s yelling at me…I literally, sometimes, have to keep myself from crying…It’s a physical reaction to the energy that’s thrown at you.”

On Team Edward vs. Team Jacob:[Lexicon Note: given her answer we don’t think this is about the team so much as her real-life relationships] “I would never cheapen my relationships by talking about them. People say, ‘Just say who you’re dating. Then people will stop being so ravenous about it.’ It’s like, No they won’t! They’ll ask for specifics.”

LA Times Hero Complex: Profiles the Cullens
The LA Times has a longer version of the piece that appeared last week of that was entitled “Family the Slays Together Stays Together”. The longer version has several new photos.
“”This time around, you get to see their true vampire-ness,” said Peter Facinelli, who plays head vampire Dr. Carlisle Cullen in the series based on the bestselling books by Stephenie Meyer.
The film is being helmed by David Slade, the edgy filmmaker behind “Hard Candy” and “30 Days of Night.” And if the trailer is any indication, he’s definitely given the franchise a darker sensibility.
“The guys are going to bring their girlfriends to this one, mark my words,” said Kellan Lutz, who plays Emmett Cullen. “There’s a lot of fighting, a lot of cool stunts. It’s a little darker. The stuff I’ve seen so far is amazing. Amazing. The music is great. Everything is just really captivating. I’m excited to see it, and I’m excited for the fans to see it. The stunts are so cool. It was a bit weird, like for the main battle scene where the newborns come in. I mean, we’re looking at these cardboard cutouts as we’re acting, as we’re supposed to be head-butting creatures. So to see it live on the screen is so cool. And running on the treadmills to do the chase scene was awesome. We were being pulled by a truck going really fast to make it seem like we were running at vampiric speed. To see it on screen, it looks epic.”
How to Get Tickets For the Eclipse Premiere
OK, time to break this down so folks understand what they are getting for their money. First the official Summit statement, then we’ll break it down for you.
The official premiere of THE TWILIGHT SAGA: ECLIPSE is on June 24 at Nokia in LA Live during the Los Angeles Film Festival also known as the LAFF.
Passes go on sale May 10th, and can only be purchased via the LAFF site. Note the portion of the pass that gets you into Eclipse is non-transferable and name specific. This is what stops scalpers from buying them up. You’ll probably have to show ID. Please note that only the more expensive passes get you in to see Eclipse, but they come with other perks for the film festival.
These passes get you into the 7,000 seat Nokia where the cast, production team, and industry guests will be viewing the film. There are LIMITED seats. Expect them to be nosebleed and rejoice if they are better! Chances of sitting near any star is slim to none, those areas are roped off. Think of it like the movie Titanic. The Twilight cast and crew are Kate Winslet and the fans are Leo Dicaprio stuck in steerage. Still a cool ship and a great experience, but we’re getting hamberger and they have filet minon.
These high end passes DO NOT grant you access to the red carpet. If fans will be able to line up on the streets camping out and then line the red carpet is still TBD. It’s a new venue with new rules and security. When Summit knows the info is 100% certain you’ll get it. No one wants to say something and have to disappoint people if it changes.
These high end passes do not get you into the afterparty, autographs with actors, photographs with actors, etc. Basically you are getting just the movie and other film festival perks.
All-in-all pretty cool because up until now, save for a handful of lucky people, no fans have gotten into the premieres of any Twilight movie.
I think that covers the basics for now. When we know more, we’ll let you know.
Alphie’s Day in Oprah’s Twilight Audience
![]()
As most of you already know, Oprah Winfrey dedicated the whole hour of her show today to The Twilight Saga. Now, I’ve been a fan of Oprah’s since she came on the air. I watch her show pretty much every single day. I’ve always wanted to attend a taping of one of her shows. So being able to go to the show on the day she was talking to the stars of the Twilight Saga was pretty much a total dream come true!
When we arrived at the studio, of course there was a huge line of fans! I don’t think there is ever a Twilight related event where you won’t find a huge line of fans. And true to form, there were Team Edward and Team Jacob shirts, posters, buttons, and everything else a fan could decorate to show their love of the saga.
The wait wasn’t very long to get into the theatre and the Harpo staff did everything possible to make sure you were comfortable, that you understood any regulations or directions, and that you had a clear idea of where to go and what to do. It was so well organized and efficient. I can’t rave enough about the staff and how well they did their jobs today! So here’s a big thank you to the staff at Harpo!
Now, I want you to know that my excitement over the taping of the show was always there, but it didn’t really, REALLY hit me until we were actually guided into the studio to take our seats. We came around the corner and saw the stage set up, which gave me my first jolt of “Oh my gosh, this is really happening!” But it was when I saw the Oprah logo written out in the Twilight font that I actually squealed a bit.
We were seated just right of center in the back section, with the front center section reserved for the participants of the show that Oprah was going to talk to. There was a family group that had all dressed up as the various characters, girls in t-shirts that had dozens of lines from the books written in tiny hand writing all over the shirts, and yes, even a few guys. Just to my right was a fan who first read the book Twilight in October of 2005!! We always find that impressive given that we don’t meet many people who read the book before we did!
Before the show started, an audience crew came out to get us pumped and to talk to us about the series. They asked all kind of questions – the obvious “Who is Team Edward?” and “Who is Team Jacob?” They even found one gentleman who claimed he didn’t know a thing about Twilight other than the fact that his wife loved it and he came to support her.
My favorite moment of the pre-show was when they singled out a gentleman and asked the audience if they knew who he was. Now, this is just a regular guy. He wasn’t all dressed up and he was sitting alone. But I recognized him. I searched my brain until it hit me! It was Taylor Lautner’s father! There were some humorous thank you’s given to Taylor dad for having such a good looking son!
And then Oprah came out! She looked great, as usual, and said to audience that she knew none of us were there to see her! She had a few ohhh and ahhh moments with us before they began taping the show.
I don’t want to spoil what was in the episode by giving too many details, but I will tell you that you definitely want to tune in! You’ll see some perfectly wonderful fan reactions to big surprises as well as a few things from Eclipse that haven’t been shown before. Robert, Taylor, Kristen, and Dakota each have some great memorable moments that you won’t want to miss. So, be sure to set your DVRs for May 13!
