Deadline Hollywood is reporting the following:
Actor Jake Abel is frontrunner to play one of the two male lead roles in The Host, the adaptation of the science fiction novel by Twilight author Stephenie Meyer that will star Saoirse Ronan and be directed by Andrew Niccol, who wrote the script. Negotiations are expected to begin soon. Abel was chosen from among a group of young thesps and he is negotiating for the role of Ian.
MTV caught up with Theophilus London in NYC last night.

Josh Horowitz has really outdone himself with the comedy this time. We enjoyed the antics he played on the Harry Potter cast when Deathly Hallows came out by making them say American phrases. Now he plays Yes/No with the Twilight cast and the answers to some of his comedic questions might surprise you!

“Twilight has made people realize that there’s a huge desire, a huge hunger, for more female-targeted projects. Other than that, I think fans will look back and probably still hold on to the story. I can’t imagine that the fans that we see show up at Comic-Con in 10 years aren’t going to be fans. They’ll still definitely remember why they loved it.”

Jackson and Ashley talk wedding missteps
The final list for the People’s Choice Awards came out today. No Twilight movie was eligible due to date cut offs, but Taylor Lautner and Robert Pattinson were nominated for their work in Abduction and Water For Elephants.

Favorite Action Movie Star: Taylor Lautner
Also nominated was the film Water for Elephants in several categories and Breaking Dawn Soundtrack artist Bruno Mars was nominated for other work.
