Live Webcast This Sunday At Borders

We are participating in the below event at Borders in Westwood, California. The event is going to be fabulous with giveaways, appearances by some cast members(can’t tell you who yet, but it will let’s just say if everything comes off it will be a howling good time with an added bite), and just some great Twilight discussion. If you are in the Westwood area come down. The store recently underwent renovation and from what we understand, they can accommodate over 500 people. You can give them a call to find out exactly what procedure they will use for entrance (we think they settled on wristbands, but call in and get the details if you want to attend.)

Borders (USA) will be hosting New Moon Live—a live, global webcast featuring all your favorite Twilight/New Moon fansites from their Westwood store in Los Angeles. The 90-minute event takes place Sunday, November 15 at 2 p.m. (PST) (5 p.m. EST) (10 pm GMT) at www.BordersMedia.com/NewMoonLive.

The webcast will provide Twilight Saga fans around the world with an interactive way to participate using Facebook Live Stream Box. The feature enables Facebook users to connect, share and post updates in real-time as they watch the event online. Viewers who are not Facebook users can still see all comments posted from other Facebook users during event.

Don’t miss the special event & tell your friends by either sharing the live streaming address or using the share tool on the streaming page – www.BordersMedia.com/NewMoonLive.

See you there!

The Borders Comic Con Podcast

We had a blast at the Borders podcast. Be My Escape acted as behind the scenes help doling out prizes while Pel sat on the panel.

Pel was able to do a trivia game with some hard questions apparently, and then she followed up on a panel discussing what’s in the upcoming movie.

Kallie and Kassie & Andrew and Matt are pros when it comes to podcasting.  They have it down and know how to make it an interesting show.  Make sure you check out both the Twilight Source/Imprint and Twilight Series Theories sites.

You can hear the podcast on ITunes or Mevio. The details are here on Twilight Series Theories.

A huge thank you to Borders media, mangement, and store manager, Carlos, and staff for making it happen.

Borders Merchandise & San Diego Event

Borders will be having the next round of Twilight Saga Merchandise hit their stores this week.

According to Borders, The price for their trading cards is $3.99 each packet.  There are 72 base cards, randomly inserted bonus cards feature: 9 ALWAYS cards, 6 DIFFERENT cards, 3 IN PURSUIT cards.

Also if Lauren’s Bite has inspired you to want a Pocket Edward of your own, the Bella and Edward two pack is available in Borders for $39.99 while supplies last. We believe it also comes with a Cullen Crest bonus.

Also, speaking of Borders, we have something very awesome coming up with them. We are still working out the details, but Alphie, Pel, and Be My Escape (AKA Lori, Laura, & Jen) will all be at Comic Con in San Diego this year. After the Comic Con panel is over there is going to be an awesome event at a nearby Borders. Details coming as the event gets closer.

The event will not only feature our site but also Kimmy from His Golden Eyes, Kara “Team Switzerland” from Twilighters Anonymous, Matt and Andrew from Twilight Source/Imprint Podcast, Kallie and Kassie from Twilight Series Theories. Kudos to Kallie for being our organizational genius. If you haven’t checked out a TST podcast, make sure you do. Kallie and Kassie are just the right mix of sass and fun.
