The first photo was posted on TinselKoreyOnline and the second photo came right from Tinsel’s twitter. You can read more details at TinselKoreyOnline.
Lee Pace Talks to Movie Web About Playing Garrett
Movie Web caught up with Lee Pace who is thrilled to be playing Garrett and thrilled to be working on Breaking Dawn with Bill Condon.
“I was wondering if you can talk about your role as Garrett in The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2. Can you give us any details about the character? Is he one of the Volturi?
Lee Pace: No, I’m a good guy. I join Team Cullen. I’m only in the final movie. I play Garrett, who enters the scene in the last movie. I’m having a blast with it. Bill Condon is awesome. I mean, have you ever seen a movie of his that you didn’t like?
Well, no.
Lee Pace: That’s how I felt too. These movies are what they are. It’s not my kind of movie, but I have to say, working with Bill and having him show me some stuff, it’s totally my kind of movie. It’s really cool. It’s really cool and dark. He gets Kristen (Stewart) in a really great way. She looks incredible in the movie. She looks like a movie star.”
Tinsel Korey and Julia Jones at The Official Twilight Convention Los Angeles 2011
We are currently at the Official Twilight convention put on by Creation Entertainment. Usually we live tweet the event, but we haven’t been able to get a signal in the ballroom. We took notes and here are the highlights of what Tinsel and Julia spoke about yesterday. Tickets are still available despite a story in the LA Times that incorrectly stated that there weren’t. Booboo Stewart, Bronson Pelltier, Kiowa Gordon, and Jodelle Ferland are on board today and Peter Facinelli swings by on Sunday.
Julia Jones came right from the set and had a bit of a scratchy throat, but she was still really excited for her Q&A
- Julia feels like shooting the Twilight movies has given her great insight into guys. She feels like she has been backstage at a boys club and hanging with the wolfpack has demystified guys for her a bit.
- Cee-Lo and Forget You is her favorite song right now
- Julia didn’t read the books until after she got the role. She just skimmed them before her audition because there wasn’t time. Her friends were big fans and gave her details. Then afterwards she read all the books in a week and was obsessed and now she’s a superfan.
- Her worst day filming ever was what she calls Black Friday which was the campfire scene in Eclipse. It was pouring rain all night long. they shot from 10:00pm to 6:00am. The tarps only covered three people at a time and they dripped. They would get full and then dump tons of water. Alex Meraz got hit twice by a huge waterfall of water. It was really miserable.
- Julia got star struck by Geoffrey Rush when she met him after a broadway play.
- Julia is really gullible and Alex Meraz is always getting her to believe stupid things.
- Julia loves moviemaking but would be a photojournalist if not into acting.
- Julia says if you want to get into acting treat it like any other profession and take classes and study

Billy Burke Proud to Be a Part of Hollywood History
Billy Burke has been doing lots of press for his movie Drive Angry. Reporters have been asking him about the Twilight Saga and this is what Billy had to say about the franchise and the end of filming:
“Billy Burke knows he might be the most clueless father in history. As Bella’s pop in the “Twilight” saga, he never really has noticed that his daughter is, oh, dating a vampire.
Hello! The luminous skin? The piercing gaze? The jumping on treetops?
“I know, I know,” says actor Billy Burke. “He doesn’t know. My character Charlie does have to resign himself to being oblivious.”
Especially now. In the two upcoming “Breaking Dawn” movies, Bella and Edward will make it all public. The “Twilight’ers” now are filming the last installment of the hit franchise. “He finds out and his entire world gets cranked upside down,” says Burke.
As for a vampire son-in-law, he opines, “The way Charlie explains it away is that he understands his daughter is her own person. She will do what she wants to do. She will go after what she loves. He respects that.”
Filming will conclude in April. “This is it,” Burke says. “There are no more books. I’m not sad. It’s been a good ride. It can’t go on forever, even though I’m sure in the hearts of the ‘Twi’ fans it will. I’m just proud of be part of Hollywood history.”
Reelz Channel Favorite Twilight Actor/Character and Six Degrees Games
Reelz Channel has a game going where you can rank your favorite Twilight actor/character. At the time we are writing this the top three ranks are held by Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, and Ashley Greene.
Reelz Channel has also launched another set of games that’s like a six degrees of separation thing. They wrote in to tell us that, ” We have a special challenge for Twilight fans and we hope you will share it with your viewers. The new ReelzChannel Facebook app, ClusterFlick, allows players to put the concept of six degrees of separation to the test using movie and celebrity information.”
One of the challenges is to try to find the David Slade and Bill Condon connection within six moves.
