I guess Jennifer doesn’t fully appreciate the Team Jacob or Taylor appeal.

Hit Fix: Billy Burke Talks Drive Angry and Twilight
Billy Burke is hitting Comic Con later this month to promote Drive Angry (also incidentally a Summit Entertainment Picture). It’s a total departure from Twilight, very dark rated R movie with Nicholas Cage. The nails he mentions in the article are in the photo that Billy Tweeted a few months back.
“There have been a number of supporting players in “The Twilight Saga” who have been able to use their newfound notoriety into bigger roles but none who have deserved the chance more than Billy Burke. Better known as Bella’s dad Charlie Swan, Burke has been working in Hollywood for almost 20 years with small roles in films such as “Fracture,” “Ladder 49,” “Along Came A Spider” and TV series roles on TV series such as “Gilmore Girls,” “My Boys” and “24.” Now, he’s getting his most significant break yet as a conniving and evil cult leader in the supernatural action thriller “Drive Angry 3D.”
Visiting the set of “Angry” in Shreveport, Louisiana a few months ago, Burke was the center of a massive action scene between his character and a vengeful father from hell played by none other than Nicolas Cage. Burke took some time off from his shooting schedule to sit down and talk to the assembled press on a very warm May night. He was as candid and classy as you’d expect for a longtime Hollywood veteran.”
Huffington Post: Christian Serratos Interview
Looks like it’s Twilight week over at the Huffinton Post, first they there was an amazing article on why the books and movies mean so much to people, and now there is this look at Christian Serratos.
“As the ardor cools for The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, it’s easy to forget all the humans except that most desired one — Kristen Stewart’s Bella. But there are the others, from the ever-surging actor Anna Kendrick as head geek Jessica to Billy Burke as poppa Swan.
And then there’s actress Christian Serratos’s bespectacled Angela Webber, who kind of reflects the film’s own core girl-geek squad.
After the 20-year-old Serratos made it into The Twilight Saga, she started to tour the con circuit making sure that the humans other than Bella weren’t forgotten. So she made it to New York last October, to Anaheim this April and has had time to bare all for PETA. And her few moments of screen time in the installments reveals real flashes of talent — part of what she discusses in this exclusive interview conducted during one of those con excursions.
Though she has limited screen time again in the third installment, she does have this incredible ringside seat to see this Virgin-Vamp saga emerge and see how everyone has evolved in doing it. As close up to the center of the media circus as anyone, Serratos has not only witnessed the Twilight phenomenon from the inside out, she has felt the glare of that white hot spotlight that Kris Stewart and Rob Pattinson have been subjected to throughout.”

FCC’s Indecency Policy Ruled Unconsistitutionally Vague
According to MTV’s Hollywood Crush,
“Last Tuesday, the Supreme Court struck down the FCC’s indecency policy based on it being “unconsistitutionally vague.”
The Hollywood Reporter says that the case originally stemmed from “profanity uttered by celebrities during live broadcasts of awards show” (thank you, Peter Facinelli and the 2010 MTV Movie Awards)( LEXICON EDIT see video below: warning language is not work safe, but it does illustrate the point being made by this article which involved an award won by the movie New Moon), but the result basically loosens primetime networks’ ability to use profane language and explicitly sexuality.
You can read THR, Esq.‘s in-depth summation of the court ruling on the link above, but we’re interested to see how the repercussions change TV in the upcoming season. Primetime has been getting markedly steamier over the past decade, especially in some of our favorites like “”Gossip Girl” and “90210.” THR also cites upcoming shows like NBC’s “Friends With Benefits” and CBS’s William Shatner-starring “S#*! My Dad Says” as other new shows willing to push television limits.”
As the article cites what particularly spurred this, was the spontaneous utterance of stars on Live Awards shows. Peter Facinelli responding to a show that was laden with F-bombs that were beeped out for home viewing decided to do it himself in attempt to satirize what went on that night not realizing that the MTV show wasn’t going to be quick enough on his additions. Peter later issued an apology via EW.
Billy Burke in Rizzoli & Isles
You can watch Billy Burke below in last night’s season premiere (oops it premiered last Monday )of Rizzoli & Isles. Keep an eye out for Billy as an FBI agent starting at about the 8:00 mark.

The Huffinton Post: A Twilight Seduction: What Men Can Learn From Edward
This is a great article on just what it is that is attractive about BOTH movie and book Edward and Jacob.
“The lesson for men of Edward is not how to seduce a woman, but how to get her to want to seduce you (homework to follow). While Jacob tempts Bella with a love that’s “as easy as breathing,” Edward takes her breath away because she loves him more than air, and every kiss and touch leaves her gasping for more. He’s constantly adoring her with contact; taking her face in his hands, brushing his fingers across her cheek, securing a protective arm around her waist, sliding his lips along her jaw.
Instead of exploring their anatomy, they explore the anatomy of a kiss. It’s first base to the umpteenth power, with true love multiplying their every liplock exponentially. The effect on Bella is beyond arousal. Her heart hammers, her skin flushes, her blood, which Edward craves, races in her veins. It’s no wonder romance novels are often referred to as “pornography for women.” Neither one is realistic.
The most sensuous scene in the book, omitted from the film, comes when Edward, returning in the night, awakens Bella, and demonstrates to her the benefits of his newly acquired big bed. Their reunion is comfortably sexy; a couple completely at home in each other, their conversation and every caress infused with a deep affection. You can almost hear the soft words and rhythmic breathing in the dark. But in a gender role reversal it is Edward who will stop Bella before they get “carried away.” “Must I always be the responsible one?” he’ll sigh. (Do vampires take cold showers?) It’s every junior high school girl’s dream: the beautiful, adoring boy who’ll take them anywhere except too far.”
Various Twilight Cast Members at Comic Con 2010
Both Anna Kendrick, Billy Burke, and Michael Sheen will be at Comic Con this year, but not in connection to Twilight. Anna is going to be promoting Scott Pilgrim vs. the World. Billy is going to be promoting Drive Angry. If you are going to Comic Con their panels should be relatively accessible. Now Michel on the other hand is going to be there with Tron Legacy, and that will draw quite the crowd. Access may be tougher, so plan ahead.
Comic Con always has other actors present to represent various series that don’t per say have a movie out in the current year.
