The George Clooney exchange is priceless.
Making Of sat down with David Slade, Wyck Godfrey, and Melissa Rosenberg.
Normally we aren’t too big on posting photo gallery spreads with no article, but this was just funny. It was great to see the stars cut loose for EXTRA after an exhausting two days of press junkets.
Moviefone just sent this info over to us:
Moviefone is looking for real Twilight fans with real Twilight-inspired tattoos to spotlight in an upcoming Moviefone feature. And they will PAY for pics. They are using SEED to find people to submit their pictures (SEED is a website where freelance writers and photographers can “claim” different assignments on Aol). Anyway, here is the actual post on SEED with all the details:

One of the coolest tattoos that Pel ever saw is above! It reads vampire if you look at it one way an werewolf if you look at it the other way.
FearNet has an exclusive interview with Jackson Rathbone on Eclipse, his castmates, an The Last Airbender
“It’ll be a busy summer for Rathbone, who also stars in M. Night Shyamalan’s The Last Airbender, opening just days after The Twilight Saga: Eclipse hits theaters on June 30. But between promoting those films and reuniting with his cast mates to film Breaking Dawn this fall, the aspiring director hopes to shoot a short film and, one day, make his feature directing debut in the horror genre. In the mean time, he’s studying up. Read on to find out which recent gore-fest made Rathbone’s flesh crawl with approval.
So, Jasper Hale finally gets his moment to shine in Eclipse…
I don’t sparkle like a diamond in Eclipse, but Jasper gets to come out a little bit and do what he loves to do, which is to fight. To get in the middle of it all. It’s interesting, because filming Twilight and New Moon I was showing the darker side of Jasper; he seems withdrawn, like a pariah almost. In Eclipse you can see why — his back story is the reason for the way he holds himself, the way he’s kind of afraid of his own instincts.
Is it then gratifying to be able to tell Jasper’s story more fully?
It is! I get to go back in time and show Jasper when he was a human in the Civil War era, and when he gets turned, what his life is like. It was a pleasure. It was fun. I got to ride a horse again; I haven’t been on a horse in like three years so that was pretty exciting.
Did you ride horses for fun, or did you learn for a particular role?
Just for fun. I’m from the South; we tend to ride.”

As usual Hit Fix knows the franchise and asks great questions! This is my hands down favorite interview for today. It also goes to prove if Kristen Stewart knows and trusts the interviewer she gives great responses, but in a room full of people she clams up and shuts own.
The trio sounds off on trios!

Transcribed by Shock Til You Drop. Here are the thoughts of director, David Slade, producer, Wyck Godfrey, and writer, Melissa Rosenberg at the Eclipse Press Conference roundtable.
“Q: What did you do to prepare for Eclipse and how did you bring your own style to the film?
Slade: There’s a vocabulary, a cinematic vocabulary to each of the films they’ve done. And it doesn’t come from that much premeditation. It comes from two things. One, seeing the film in my head before we go out and make it, and being very clear about that and planning it. Two, [doing] what’s right for the scene and the character. I believe the most interesting thing to look at in the world is the human face, so that is why I tend to be a little closer to human faces than maybe other directors will be.
Wyck Godfrey: When you were first talking to us about the movie, you had said that by letting the background fall out of focus and really focus on the characters in the dangerous scenes it creates a heightened sense of anxiety. You feel like you don’t really know what’s back there, and in the romantic scenes it creates an incredible sense of intimacy. You really feel like you sense these two people in that world and I really think that was effective.
Read more on Shock Till You Drop, and before anyone has a total fit he’s kidding about the nude scene. It’s that dry British humor just like with Jamie Campbell Bowers’ nude scene joke from last year!
Yes, you did read that title right. No, we never really thought we’d be writing a title like that, but that’s where the material went. Pg-13 but a frank discussion.
