teen choice 2010

It looks like the list of who was nominated leaked out a little early due to accidental early posting, and various places around the net discoverd the information before it was taken down. The initial plan was to have the information come out in three waves starting, today…so much for that plan.  So unless that have significant changes in the voting number, and they revise when the announcement goes official later today, here is what slipped out early that has some connection to Twilight:

  • Robert Pattinson – Best Actor(Fantasy) for New Moon
  • Robert Pattinson – Best Actor(Drama) for Remember Me
  • Kristen Stewart – Best Actress(Fantasy) for New Moon
  • Kristen Stewart – Best Actress(Drama) for The Runaways

Billy Burke: Updates Blog About Removed Album Debut

Billy Burke has updated his site about the status of his debut album Removed:

“We are not ourselves in the presence of others. By this I mean, If you really wanted to know someone, you’d have to spy on them when no one else is around. When you’re young, you truly believe that no one understands you and, well… you’re mostly right. In fact, if you can find even one or two people in your entire lifetime that genuinely care about “getting” you, you’ve done pretty well. Art (in any form) is really just a quest for some sort of remedy for that “lack of understanding” and like it or not, our lives are constantly influenced by the product of that quest and the people who set out on it. I’m pretty sure I didn’t recognize this philosophy when I was a kid but I definitely wanted to be one of THOSE people and I myself, couldn’t understand those who didn’t.

Most of the songs I’m about to release were written on cocktail napkins. I suppose if anyone had been spying on me while I sat alone in a booth or on a barstool scratching them down, they may have gotten a glimpse of the real me. Although I never consciously write songs in order to be understood, those whose ears this music falls upon will be in a way, hearing “me” when no one else is around.

On June 22nd, 2010 — “removed”, my 12 song debut album will be available as a digital download or mail order physical copy (with 12 page booklet) either here on this site, at iTunes, or wherever you buy your music. Please know that hard copies of the CD with booklet are in limited supply so if you want one we urge you to order quickly.”

Access Hollywood: Julia Jones Rising Newcomer

JuliaJonesheadshotAccess Hollywood is calling Julia Jones, Leah Clearwater, someone to watch”

“Making a mark in the wild world of “The Twilight Saga” would be a feat for any star, but in the role of Leah Clearwater in “Eclipse,” newcomer Julia Jones instantly makes her presence known with a performance that has earned her the title of AccessHollywood.com’s Rising Star.

Julia brings some much-needed girl power to the rambunctious, male-dominated Wolf Pack in the franchise’s third big screen offering, “Eclipse,” but the star told Access that joining the group – not just getting the part – was nerve-wracking.

“I was really nervous,” she said. “The first person I had dinner with was Chaske [Spencer, who plays Sam Uley]. I didn’t know I was being screened! [That was] the real audition!”

However, Julia had nothing to worry about.

“She’s totally cool and such a sweetheart,” Chaske told Access.”

Interview: Kristen Stewart Talks The Twilight Saga: Eclipse via IESB

With more of the action, love, friendship, jealousy and passion that the series has become known for, The Twilight Saga: Eclipse ups the ante with a revenge-fueled, romantic continuation of the internationally popular vampire story, based on Stephenie Meyer’s best-selling book series.

With a the evil vampire Victoria (Bryce Dallas Howard) and a Newborn Army (led by Xavier Samuel) after her, Bella Swan struggles to get her love, vampire Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson), and his family, to work with her best friend, werewolf Jacob Black (Taylor Lautner), and his Pack, to protect her and keep all of them safe from the Volturi (which includes Dakota Fanning).

At a press conference to promote the upcoming release of the film, actress Kristen Stewart talked about her love for acting, the journey of Bella Swan and why she’s happy that Breaking Dawn will be shot in two parts.

Eclipse’ Producer Wyck Godfrey on 3D, ‘Breaking Dawn,’ and More via Fearnet

I like to picture the two-part Breaking Dawn movie as a NC-17 gynecology horror flick packed with pillow-biting sex and bellies ripped open, and guess what? I’m not alone. In fact, Twilight Saga producer Wyck Godfrey is the one who brought up David Cronenberg’s Dead Ringers when we met to discuss this month’s Eclipse, in which Twilight heroine Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart) finds herself torn between her vampire and werewolf beaus as an army of bloodsuckers threatens to kill everyone she loves. (He also told us he’d love to cast Stewart in his remake of the brutal French-language pic Martyrs. More on that here.)
But Godfrey knows his Twilight audience, so I asked him to set the record straight on rumors that the two-part final installment, Breaking Dawn, could go for an R-rating. Over the course of a highly entertaining discussion, he explained why 30 Days of Night director David Slade was chosen to helm Eclipse, what made Dreamgirls razzle-dazzler Bill Condon right for Breaking Dawn, and how elements of horror filmmaking factor into the vampire romance franchise.
We discussed Bella’s newfound confidence in Eclipse, and how her infamous upcoming childbirth scene could possibly go down with a PG-13 rating. He mused on how 3D might be used to film part of Breaking Dawn, which begins shooting this November. He gave a compelling defense of Bella Swan’s problematic attractions to both Edward and Jacob, a love triangle that reaches a boiling point in Eclipse but develops new complexity as we move into Breaking Dawn. Most importantly, Twi-hards, Wyck Godfrey promised plenty of feathers.

At a press conference to promote the film’s upcoming release, actor Robert Pattinson talked about working more closely with Taylor Lautner, getting through that tent scene, how Edward Cullen has evolved throughout the films and how he’s looking forward to working with director Bill Condon for both parts of The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn. He also gave some insight into his upcoming roles in Bel Ami, Water for Elephants and Unbound Captives.

‘Twilight’ Producer Wants Kristen Stewart for ‘Martyrs’ Remake – FEARnet

When I caught up with producer Wyck Godfrey this weekend, I found out that he already has one young actress in mind to star in his upcoming remake of the French-Canadian fright film Martyrs — Twilight star Kristen Stewart.

“I would love for Kristen to do it,” said the Twilight Saga producer, whose previous genre credits include I, Robot and AVP: Alien vs. Predator. Godfrey, who has a long list of titles in development with producing partner Marty Bowen, seemed particularly enthusiastic about making an English-language version of Pascal Laugier’s 2009 French-Canadian tale of two young women out for revenge. (That pic, starring Mylène Jampanoï and Morjana Alaoui, is considered part of a new wave of extreme French-language genre cinema, alongside films like Inside (À l’interieur), Them (Ils), and Frontier(s).)
