Twitter Update: Taylor Lautner Not On Twitter

Rachelle Lefevre just had dinner with Taylor Lautner and Taylor confirmed with her that he does not have a Twitter.

According to Rachelle, “Had dinner with Taylor & asked if he is on Twitter. For now he’s NOT but he might. I’ll work on him!”

So a huge thank you to Rachelle for reconfirming what we have been saying that the various Taylor Lautner twitter accounts where he supposedly interacts with fans are all fakes.

We also noticed something else, today Rachelle has just over 20,000 followers. This means another $100 was raised for breast cancer research.

For every 10,000 followers that Rachelle gets, she donates $100 to fight breast cancer. It’s also a cause the Mike Welch supports as well. So if you have a Twitter consider following Rachelle. Also click here and help someone get a free mammogram.

Until Twitter gets around to verifying all celebrity accounts (they are a little backlogged) you can always check it out on Truth Tweet. They do a really good job of investigating Twitters.

Perry Farrell’s Song Number 10

Spin magazine has come up with what they consider the worst movie songs of all time, and Perry Farrell’s Go all the Way Into the Twilight has made the list.

According to Spin, “It’s a good thing Perry Farrell reunited the original Jane’s Addiction’s lineup, because when that guy’s left alone bad things happen — like his contribution to 2008’s vampire-romance hit Twilight. Recorded with his wife Etty Lau Farrell, “Go All the Way (Into the Twilight)” is like watching your parents get drunk — it’s loud and embarrassing. From the cheesy Euro-techno melody to the painfully inane lyrics (“It was so smooth / Sparkle and shine / And it shined”), this song truly bites (pun dreadfully intended).”

Other notable songs on the list are by Steven Tyler, M.C. Hammer, Vanilla Ice, and Guns and Roses.

Twilight Clue Contest

The Peace, Love, and Twilight site is sponsoring a Twilight Clue contest.

It’s a really fun game of whodunnit. Check out their site for the official rules. We are one of the participating sites.

Peter Facinelli: Reelz Channel Interview

Peter Facinelli sat down with Reelz channel at a local California watering hole to discuss New Moon and Nurse Jackie.

Barbie and Ken Meet Twilight

So far we can only find this on the Canadian version of Toys R Us online. We’re not really sure what we think. This would be the third set of  “dolls” if you count the action figures and the high-end Tonner dolls.

We can’t imagine that they won’t be available in the US sooner or later. Via TwiCrack

Much Music Awards 2009

Both Taylor Lautner and Rachelle LeFevere were at the Much Music Awards yesterday.

For those of you not familiar with the awards, Much Music is like the MTV of Canada.

Happy Birthday Alphie

Even though Alphie made me a birthday video, sadly I had no time to return the favor. Suffice it to say if Alphie hadn’t read Twilight in January 2006 there would not be a Twilight Lexicon.  Hands down she knows details on the books better than anyone I know. You’d have to work really hard to stump her.  She’s stuck with the website with ups and downs personally and professionally.

So today we say

HAPPY BIRTHDAY ALPHIE!

Happy Birthday Edward!

edward B-day banner As many of you have pointed out to us, today is Edward’s birthday!! Edward-Cullen.Net sent us this banner in honor of our most beloved vampire’s celebration.  To help us celebrate, leave us a post about your single most favorite thing regarding Edward, be it a quote, something he did, or any general trait.  Just let us know what you love about him and why!  My personal favorite moment, which kind of sealed the deal for me, was when he said, “I may not be human, but I am a man.”  Gotta love that!

Daniel Cudmore: Lexicon New Moon Interview

We recently had the opportunity to interview Daniel Cudmore who plays Felix in The Twilight Saga; New Moon. Dan has appeared in a number of films, but is probably most widely recognized for his portrayal of Colossus in the X-Men movies.

How would you characterize the New Moon audition process?
It was very unexpected for me. I had auditioned for one character and was called about a call-back for another character which somehow I had no idea about. Fortunately, I couldn’t make the call-back and had a chance to get it right and put it on tape. A week later I got the good news.

How would you characterize the make-up and costuming process?  Some of the actors have had difficulty with the contacts.  Did you find them difficult to use?  Did the costume help you find the character?
I found the whole process a lot of fun, I wear contacts normally so it wasn’t uncomfortable. The whole costumes when put together were so cool, and really helped with getting right into that character. It also helped that my skin was pretty much the same color as a vampire’s after a nice Vancouver winter. [Read more…]
