Interview Roll Call

We have not one, not two, but three interviews by Twilight Stars:

First Up Gil Birmingham, who has been in Australia at a convention, spoke to Twilighter’s HUB, the location for Aussie Twilight happenings.

TH: Being an actor, what parts of yourself have you incorporate into Billy Black’s character, and what part of Billy, have you taken with you into your everyday life?

Gil: Billy Black is an awesome character to play. We are both down with the kids and we both try to keep it real. An actor always digs deep inside himself to draw out the personal experiences that bring life to the character he plays. I am not Billy, but there is a part of him in me and vice versa.

TH: Like most of the cast in Twilight, how has the Franchise changed your life?

Gil: Twilight has been an amazing ride for me. The volume of fan mail, emails and requests has increased so much that it’s becoming more and more difficult for me to personally respond to fans. I don’t get caught up in all the hype. I’m still the same Gil Birmingham I was before Twilight, only I get a lot more mail.”

Next the stunning Ashley Greene gives away a few beauty secrets to the Examiner:

“What are your favorite beauty products?BORBA (all of which I mentioned) and Dermalogica. I love Matrix sleek products for my hair – they work very well for me. Rose bud lip gloss is the best. YSL has a great illuminating concealer. Shiseido you can’t go wrong with either… their tinted moisturizer is great. I also just found this amazing line in Europe called “Becca;” their stuff is amazing… I have to stock up when I go back because it isn’t sold in the US!

Who is your beauty icon?
Audrey Hepburn is classically beautiful. ”

Wrapping it up Is Kellan Lutz in the UK’s OK where he just did a photo shoot for Social Life:

The entire cast of Twilight and New Moon has gone from Hollywood new faces to overnight international sensations – has that been a bonding experience for all of you?

It’s amazing what Twilight has done for the cast! It has opened up so many doors for us all.  It is such a blessing to be a part of the phenomenon that is Twilight. It’s a dream come true!  We are all very close and stay close on set as well as off.  We play board games, go out to dinner and just hang out.  It’s amazing to be able to work with such a talented group of actors.”

Brandon Needs Design Help

Brandon, the university student who is doing a twilight video game as part of his degree in game design, needs the assistance of a graphic designer. Details for this voluntary position are on his MySpace. Give him a shout out if you can help.

Electric Spoofaloo/G-Force New Moon Trailer Spoof

The  Electric Spoofaloo website just picked the New Moon trailer as its latest spoof.  They have previous episodes where they parody film school ideas gone bad, The Watchman and  Harry Potter. We could describe it, but some things just speak for themselves. However, for the sake of your computer monitors, don’t be drinking anything as you watch this. If it is slow loading, you can also get it here.

Chris Columbus and Twilight

Harry Potter director (Sorcerer’s Stone and Chamber of Secrets) Chris Columbus once eyed the Twilight script. according to MTV Hollywood crush:

“Looking at the “Twilight” that could have been, MTV News has learned that two-time “Harry Potter” director Chris Columbus took a glance at the script at the beginning of the adaptation process.

“I guess I did read a script early on,” says the director, who most recently helmed “I Love You, Beth Cooper.”“But I was doing something else.”

TMF Readers Voice Robert Pattinson Opinions

The Movie Fanatic (the only industry blogger and media source to cover Twilight in the early days besides MTV) just posted the results of its readers’ survey entitled: Is Rob Pattinson Worth All The Hype. Some of the questions that TMF asked its readers to consider in their response were the following:

1. Is Robert Pattinson all hype and no (or little) talent?

2. Do you think Rob has improved his ways in dealing with the media frenzy from the time he was cast in Twilight until now?

3. Which of Rob’s up and coming movies (choose only 1) do you think would further give him the critical acclaim he deserve?

4. Who is Rob’s most important rival as Hollywood’s Next Golden Boy?

5. Name the actress (aside from Kristen Stewart) who would look awesome acting alongside Rob and would generate a lot of buzz?

As usual the crew over at TMF gives a quality article that doesn’t just scratch the surface. Check it all out on The Movie Fanatic.

Dakota Fanning Walking Tall

With the help of some serious retro 1970’s platform boots,  Dakota Fanning now towers over Kristen Stewart on the set of the Joan Jett bio pic, The Runaways.

Even with the boots, we’re thinking that this only makes Dakota around 5′ 5″ or so, because both her and Kristen Stewart are pretty short to begin with. You can check out the full details on RadarOnline.

Move Over Rob, Hello Jamie?

The London Paper wonders if Jamie Campbell Bower is going to be the next best British import to hit it big. They examine Jamie’s roles in Sweeney Todd, The Twilight Saga, Harry Potter, and his music career.

“He has yet to come to mainstream attention, though he has appeared in Sweeney Todd opposite Johnny Depp and in Guy Ritchie’s RocknRolla.

And he doesn’t just act – he’s also frontman in his own band, The Darling Buds (no, not the 80s Welsh indie outfit) and was formerly signed to Select Model Management.”
