Creation Entertainment recently gave us a heads up that Nikki Reed will be appearing at both the Orlando and the Dallas convention stops on their Official Twilight Tour. Shelley and Lori had the chance to meet Nikki in Nashville and had a great time at her Q&A. The Dallas tour stop is on December 3-4 and the Orlando stop is the following weekend, December 9-11. Both conventions fall after Breaking Dawn Part 1 which means this will be the first chance for fans to talk with the cast members about the film. Charlie Bewley and Patrick Brennan will also be at both tour stops as well as many other cast members. Due to lots of changing filming schedules up in Vancouver that were adjusted due to weather issues, and some actor personal issues, the Nashville Twilight Convention had to change which actors were appearing. In the end, there’s a unique and never seen before line up!

They also have the return of  two actors to Nashville. They appeared last year in the middle of a freak ice storm that lasted several days, and were a huge hit as they rolled with the punches. They both put on impromptu performances to entertain fans when other actors couldn’t get into town due to closed airports. They both definitely won themselves some fans that day!:

Laura will be live tweeting the official Twilight convention in Los Angeles this weekend. There was an unusual description from the LA Times’ things to do section about the convention:

“The Official Twilight Convention: Finally, somebody starts paying attention to little Stephenie Meyer’s fantasies of repressed teen desire filtered through the prism of bloodthirsty but sort of ethical vampires. There will be something for every fanatic at this conference celebrating Meyer’s series of books and movies, including a panel on bloodsucker lexicon, a karaoke party with Tinsel Korey and Julia Jones, and a vampire ball where you should be able to strut in your finest velvet and high collar.”

“Bloodsucker Lexicon”, well that’s a first. It never ceases to amaze us how five years into Twilight the press still doesn’t get it. Anyway, those in the know, know it’s a lot of fun. All the cast have been on set at this point so look for some non-spoilery behind the scenes details.
