MTV Counts Down Favorite Taylor Lautner Moments

Here are numbers 5 and 4. We have to say that 5 is a personal favorite!

Elle Magazine Interviews Robert Pattinson

Robert Pattinson is featured in the current Elle magazine:

On the women he daydreamed about as a teen
I was always obsessed with Kate Moss. On my bedroom wall I had a poster of Linda Blair and Kate Moss. I always liked Jane Fonda. Who else? Ellen Burstyn.

On what embarrasses him
I guess if you’re constantly in public, you’re not embarrassed about anything. But dancing is my Achilles’ heel—I don’t even try. It’s like, “Come on, dance!” “No, I’m not getting up!” I can freestyle by myself with no one watching. I’m a great dancer then.”

Summit Entertainment Asks For Help With Leaked Footage

We received the following from Summit Entertainment:

“In light of recent events, and in case of future occurrences, we have created an e-mail address (Leaks@Summit-Ent.com) for all fans to submit any links they see hosting leaked content from THE TWILIGHT SAGA: BREAKING DAWN. If we need additional information, we will contact the individual directly.”

The leaks of this week surpassed what happened last year. Last year an individual hacked into the server where official studio stills were kept, shared them with friends, and they were eventually posted online. This person, after a year of court maneuvers, was eventually tracked down to her home in Sweden and was successfully prosecuted.

There was also similar action taken against the person who put the Wolverine footage online. Note he didn’t steal it, he just got caught distributing it and that is enough for prosecution in a federal case. Copyright violation is a federal offense!

For the above reasons, and the fact that we just think it’s wrong to steal raw footage and distribute things that aren’t yours, we aren’t posting any leaked footage. Please as always keep this type of info out of links in blog comments, or those comments will be deleted. Also if you are lucky enough to get a copy of the official guide early, please don’t disclose what’s in it (we have seen a couple of mentions online). It’s like forcing someone to look a their Christmas present early whether they want to or not.

Sneak Peek at The Official Illustrated Guide: James’ Bio

We just got this from Little Brown.  It’s a sneak peek at how the guide will look when it hits stores next week.  You can see the art work for James as well as the start of his personal bio.  Just this alone is loaded with information that we have never known before now.  If this is how much extra information we can get on a character who plays a supporting role in one book, think of how much extra information we will end up having about the other characters!

So what do you think?  Does the art work and information make you that much more excited for the release of the guide?  Let us know in the comments!

EW: Exclusive Look at Bella’s Wedding Dress From the Official Twilight Saga Guide

EW has a sneak peak and an exclusive photo!(For the full photo reveal see EW)

“EW has not one but two exclusive images from Stephenie Meyer’s new book, The Twilight Saga: The Official Illustrated Guide, which goes on sale April 12: Bella as a vampire and Bella in her wedding dress. A nice walk-up to the first Breaking Dawn film, no? I didn’t expect to like the first Twilight graphic novel as much as I did, and these illustrations are by that book’s illustrator, Young Kim, who did such a great job bringing Meyer’s characters to life.

What do you think? Is this how you visualize Bella in the upcoming film?”

So who is excited for The Twilight Saga: The Official Illustrated Guide?

Patrick Brennan Talks About Breaking Dawn, Casting, and Fandom

While at the Creation Entertainment Official Twilight Convention in Nashville in March we had the chance to sit down and talk with Patrick Brennan, who plays Liam in Breaking Dawn.  This was Patrick’s first ever convention and he was overwhelmed by the love and support he felt from the Twilight fandom!  As the son of Eileen Brennan (Clue, Private Benjamin) Patrick grew up around Hollywood.  He even told us a story while we were setting up about being taken out of school to go to the set for Clue and hanging out with some of the cast members.  But none of that put any kind of damper on his humility and gratitude for being a part of the Twilight Saga as you will see in this interview.

You will need to turn the volume up all the way for this one.  We had limited space and time for the interview.  This took place while everyone was getting ready for their photo ops in the next room so there is quite a bit of background noise that we apologize for!  Still, we feel this is a great introduction for the fans to get to know Patrick.  He is going to be at several stops of the Official Twilight Convention along the way.  Your next chance to see him is at the Arlington convention April 15 – 17.

Our thanks go to Creation Entertainment for allowing us to film the interview and to Patrick Brennan for taking the time to talk to us.  You can follow Patrick on Twitter at @thePatBrennan.

The Making of a Parody: Behind the Scenes With Hillywood

We’ve had the opportunity to get to know the whole crew over at The Hillywood Show. The work that they put into their parodies is amazing, with attention to detail that is second to none. We’ve actually seen them discussing how the buttons on a certain costume had to be adjusted to be exactly right.

Because the production value of their videos is so high, people aren’t often aware of a number of things:

  • The Hillywood Show isn’t funded or sponsored by any organization. Anything they do comes out of their own pockets. Their chief source of fundraising is the tee shirts, photos, etc. that they sell on the convention circuit.
  • They do everything with ONE… that’s right…ONE camera. So all those varied camera angles you see in their videos are the result of multiple takes since they can only shoot one angle at a time.
  • Hannah does most of the directing and shooting when not appearing in videos ( Papa Hillywood takes over camera duties when Hannah and Hillary are on screen at the same time). Hillary does most of the editing. They don’t have a huge post production studio. They have a MAC.
  • Their costumes are designed and made by their grandmother(who has worked for years in the costume departments for Las Vegas casinos) and recently John Henson( the Twilight costume collector) has also helped with the designs.
  • All performers in their videos are volunteers. They are not paid an appearance fee for their services. Their crew consists of Hannah, Hillary, Mom Hillywood, Dad Hillywood, Grandma Hillywood with sometimes assistance of family friends like Drew. That’s it! There is no large staff. For the most part it is a two person operation taking care of most of the details.
  • Many of the locations they use are the result of people allowing them to film their for free because they believe in their work.
  • So please check out this behind the scenes look at what the Eclipse parody was like at the Caesar’s Palace location. In the first video they battle heat and wigs that won’t stay put. The second is our favorite as the crew battles wind and a fog machine that won’t cooperate!

Washington News Covers the Quileuete Nation Tsunami Concerns

We told you about the concerns the Quileuete Nation has regarding Tsunamis. Anyone who has ever visited La Push can’t but help to have noticed the tsunami evacuation route signage. Now local Washington State news crews are also covering the story.

Tribal Chairwoman Cleveland has asked help from the American public. Cleveland says, “The introduction of the legislation is just the first step. We need the support of the American public to get this legislation passed. Please…contact your legislators and ask them to support the Quileute Tsunami Protection legislation. The Quileute Tribe is grateful for your support.”

Funny or Die: When Harry Met Sally Meets Twilight

Many of you may be familiar with the Funny or Die website that spoofs ongoing news stories, actors lives, etc. in a very irreverent and hilarious way (two of our favorites are Alyssa Milano spoofing Snooki and Jerry O’Connell spoofing Charlie Sheen). So this time out Twilight is their target and it features Billy Crystal and Helen Mirren among others. Warning: mature language and dark comedy.
