A Twilight Saga Fansite
Bluewater Comics who previously created issues featuring Stephenie Meyer and Kristen Stewart has debuted a graphic from its upcoming Robert Pattinson edition. Usually some artwork in these editions is based on well known photos of the person being profiled. It seems to us that this piece is an artist’s rendering of Rob from the baseball scene in Twilight.
MTV has a six-page preview of the issue where they cover everything from Harry Potter to Little Ashes.
The Charlotte Observer covered the Twilight craze and specifically featured the events of this weekend’s Creation Entertainment Official Twilight Tour in Charlotte.
“Marlena Robinson’s car tells the story of her family’s passion for vampires, werewolves and love that transcends even bad habits like drinking people’s blood.
The Toyota SUV she drove from the Eastern North Carolina town of Willard with five nieces and nephews was covered in hand-painted slogans to celebrate Saturday’s “Twilight” convention at the Charlotte Marriott Executive Park.
“I’m a sucker for vampires,” the driver’s side proclaimed.”
Nikki Reed will star in Chain Letter which will open in limited distribution this summer.
Nikki has also recently done a PSA to raise awareness for the victims of the recent Chilean earthquake for I Am the Country. Notable artists from South America, such as Camilla Bella, and elsewhere join her in the PSA.
Over the weekend Alex Meraz was part of the annual Myrtle Beach festival. He and other stars, like Catherine Bell of JAG and Army Wives fame, were on hand to do autographs and to greet beach goers. Alex talked to a local TV crew.
In most series books, there are additional characters in each new book, but I don’t know if any book has ever given its readers as many new characters as Breaking Dawn. There are just so many of them! Given that it’s difficult for Hollywood to do everything a book calls for, we’re not sure if all the new characters will make it into the movie. It would be nice if they did and that’s what we’re hoping for, but we also know that you have to lose something from book to movie. (Lauren Mallory, for example.)
So we pose this question to you: Which Vampire characters would you most like to see in a movie version of Breaking Dawn? Because there are so many of them, we’ve grouped them into their clans, if they have one. If there is a specific character in a clan you think stands out from the others, let us know in the comments.

Over the last week and especially this weekend, rumors have sprung up regarding the reshoots (known as pick up shots) in Vancouver. We’ve seen every kind of speculation. It ranged from “the entire film’s in chaos, they are redoing everything” to “Rob and David were at each others throats over the filming, and Rob walked out after an argument causing a massive delay” and just about every other manipulation of those two items that you can think of.
No doubt in reaction to the myriad of rumors, David Slade (who has previously been notoriously silent on such matters) has commented on his Twitter. This is a very unusual reaction from David Slade who in the midst of other rumor intensive times merely Tweeted out pictures of flowers, fish, and weathered crew members; seemingly immune to it all.
Here is what David Slade had to say, even though it’s an old adage that you can’t be sure of tone of voice on the Internet,we think it’s pretty clear here.
“So strange, I go away for three weeks and return to all these upsetting completely fabricated rumours. Who makes this stuff up as news.
REAL NEWS: last 3 weeks have gone fantastic, pick up shoot felt more like a reunion. Rob, Kristen,Taylor the crew & I gave 110%”
It seems the LA Times is working their way through the various groups of Twilight characters. Today they have an interview with Chaske Spencer, Alex Meraz, and Julia Jones. Alex Meraz said:
“The fans are going to love this film,” he said. “I didn’t get my chance to touch anybody in ‘New Moon.’ This time I go at it with Emmett [ Kellan Lutz]. I give him a nice bitch slap. But I’m in wolf form, so maybe it’s a big paw slap?

What’s new about this photos is that it looks like an actual still image from the film and not a publicity shot like the last one was. Sow what do you think?
