Best wishes to Elizabeth Eulberg as she leaves the Twilight fandom

Elizabeth Eulberg has spent the last six years as Stephenie Meyer’s publicist.  Now think about that, folks.  Stephenie Meyer is one huge force to be reckoned with when it comes to publicity!  It was such a big task that when Stephenie first came into the spot light, Elizabeth had other authors that she worked for but for the last few years Stephenie has been the ONLY author she covered.  Her official title was “Head of Global Publicity for Stephenie Meyer.”  That’s a pretty impressive title!

If that wasn’t enough, Elizabeth has managed to write and publish two books of her own: The Lonely Hearts Club and Prom and Prejudice.  She has a third book coming out later this year.  Her success as an author has been growing substantially.  Because of that success she announced today that she is leaving Little Brown and will no longer be Stephenie’s publicist.  This will allow Elizabeth the opportunity to write full time.

Laura and Lori (Pel and Alphie)  would like to say thank you to Elizabeth, who we have referred to as EE in many many e-mails.  This woman has worked herself to a frenzy with all of Stephenie’s events.  If you have ever been to a book signing for Stephenie, Elizabeth was  the woman sitting next to Steph making sure your book was opened to the proper page!  She helped organize E-Prom all those years ago by working with Changing Hands bookstore.  It was Elizabeth who got Justin Furstenfeld from Blue October involved with  the Break Dawn book tour.  And most recently she had to deal with 9 countries different publishing houses issuing press releases for the International fan event.  So again, we want to give her a big THANK YOU for everything she has done for our fandom!

Elizabeth will still be around on twitter and facebook and on her blog.  I’m sure we will see her name pop up frequently in other venues, but for now her time with Twilight is at an end.  We wish her all the best success on her books, both present and future.

Breaking Dawn Actors on a Brief Break Before Moving to Vancouver

Production is moving North next week to Vancouver and the surrounding areas.  You can expect to see the members of the wolfpack/Quileute Tribe in town. The majority of this group did not film in Baton Rouge. So look for  Taylor Lautner, Chaske Spencer, Julia Jones, Tinsel Korey, Bronson Pelletier, Kiowa Gordon, Tyson Houseman, Booboo Stewart, Alex Rice, and Gil Birmingham to be in town.

Other members of the cast will be in Vancouver too. Based on Tweets from cast members,  it looks like the Cullens are heading north, along with Billy Burke, Kristen Stewart and a few of the new vampires (Judi Shekoni, Mia Maestro, and Erik Odom both have tweets that seem to indicate that they are going to be in Vancouver).

Others have wrapped their scenes and are not going to Vancouver, at least for filming both Dan Cudmore and Cameron Bright indicated that they are done. However, since they actually live in Vancouver, expect to see them in town. So based on that, and the fact that Jamie Campbell Bower and Michael Sheen seem to be back in England/Ireland for other projects, we’re going to take a guess that the Volturi and people connected to them  such as Amadou Ly are done.

Also apparently wrapped on the project are our favorite humans: Michael Welch, Christian Serratos, Justin Chon, and Anna Kendrick.

Preparations continue in and around Vancouver. Bella’s House has all but been finished in its reconstruction. As of the other day, Christmas decorations were added to the front. This would go along with both the books and the photo released in December indicating that Charlie’s house was decorated for Christmas with new girlfriend Sue Clearwater helping out. Odds are we can expect Billy Burke, Alex Rice, Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, and MacKenzie Foy at that location. However, crowds are usually kept down the road  and around the block on filming days, so the chances of seeing the actual filming are not high. If intrepid observers are lucky, they may get a “drive-by” with actors waving out open windows. Check out a collection of photos of the Bella’s House location here.

Tonner Dolls to Launch Jasper Doll

Entertainment Weekly was at the annual Toy Fair in New York City and what did they stumble upon? A Jasper doll by Tonner.

“Toys, toys, toys everywhere! This year’s Toy Fair kicked off yesterday, introducing a gaggle of action figures built around new movie franchises, upcoming videogames, and attractive vampire teenagers. Tons of photos from the event have shown up online, but I’d like to direct your attention to freakishly real-looking toys in particular. The “Jasper” figure (see left) from Twilight perfectly captures Jackson Rathbone’s elfen cheekbones — parents of 9-year-old girls, I present you with the only birthday present your daughter will really want this year.”

Tonner currently has several Bella and Edward models, Alice, Victoria, James, Laurent, and Jacob. Check out the collection on the Tonner website.
