Julia Jones says Leah and Jacob would “Kill for Each Other”

JuliaJonesheadshotIn an interview with Cosmo Magazine, Julia Jones talks about the relationship between Jacob Black and Leah Clearwater in Breaking Dawn, as well as her own relationship with Taylor Lautner.

What’s the relationship like between Jacob and Leah?
Jacob and Leah have a very close bond. It’s a little like family but it’s also a partnership. In Breaking Dawn, when Jacob lets her join his pack, he’s giving her an opportunity to stop feeling the pain of being around Sam all the time. I think her gratitude for that and her ability to understand his pain over Bella gives him strength as well. They would literally kill for each other.

In the novel, Leah is quite protective of Jacob. Are you protective of Taylor?
I actually do feel protective of Taylor. He’s so mature in a lot of ways that it doesn’t seem like he needs protection but every now and then I’m reminded of the fact that he’s still pretty young. I adore Taylor so it makes sense that I’d want him to be happy and safe.

Blue October Talks New Album and Twilight Connection

For many Twilight fans, Blue October will forever represent many of the essential moments of the Twilight saga.  For those of us who had the pleasure of attending the Breaking Dawn tour with Justin Furstenfeld, we know how touched the singer was that his music had such an impact on Stephenie Meyer and her fans. Metromix interviews the band recently about their new album “Any man in America” and, of course, the Twilight connection came up in the discussion.

Stephanie Meyer has said Blue October’s music was a big influence on her “Twilight” books. How did you first learn she was a fan?
Well she called our management company to meet us and to go to dinner. It was there that she told me she was a huge fan and wanted me to go on a book tour with her. The book tour was an amazing experience. I love her and respect her.

Are you Team Edward or Team Jacob?
I’m Team Blue.

So we want to hear from you?  Which Blue October song has the best Twilight connection?  If you could have any one Blue October song on the Breaking Dawn pt 1 soundtrack which would it be?

Angela Sarafyan: from State Farm Insurance Commercial to Breaking Dawn

Shockya has an interview with Angela Sarafyan who plays Tia in Breaking Dawn.

ShockYa: So I’m not going to start this interview probably where you expect. Instead, I’m going to ask you how many people approach you and ask you about State Farm insurance?

Angela Sarafyan: Oh, a lot. (laughs)

ShockYa: A lot? Or do you just get mostly quizzical looks from people who can’t quite place you?

AS: Well, my hair used to be darker, so I would get, “Are you the State Farm girl?” The [last time it happened] was in El Paso. I was working on a movie there, and some of these girls walked in and asked me. It was interesting to see how people responded to that commercial.

ShockYa: It seemed to be one of those that hung around for a while, and really caught on. And so do you have State Farm insurance?

AS: I don’t. (mock cringes) But the agent in that is really a State Farm agent, and was a really nice man. They pulled him from Miami or Florida or somewhere.

Movies.com: Twilight Stars Cross-over Appeal

In this week’s column for Movies.com, Laura talks about the Twilight actors’ other projects, and perhaps some unreasonable expectations upon the part of Hollywood and movie critics.

“Here’s something that I’ve been hearing a lot lately, “Twilight fans only like Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, Taylor Launter...insert name of whatever actor… in Twilight.” Then, after that, whatever film doesn’t make Twilight proportions at the box office, the blame is laid at the feet of the Twilight Saga actor in question. The point is, is that fair? Are fans really only interested in seeing Twilight Saga actors in Twilight?”

GQ Australia Interviews Kellan Lutz

GQ Australia had a chance to site down with Kellan Lutz about his new clothing line, Abbott and Main, and more. There’s an interview and a video.

The Twilight juggernaut might be reaching its epic climax but the gazillion dollar-grossing film franchise’s other sexy vampire, Kellan Lutz, isn’t about to slow the pace for anyone. And conquering Hollywood is just the start of this ripped Renaissance man’s ambitions…

Someone obviously missed a few classes at celebrity training school. Famous people are supposed to show up 10, 15, even 45 minutes late for a meeting of this sort, but Kellan Lutz is waiting around outside when I arrive 10 minutes early. His two hapless-looking dogs, Kola and Kevin (“I got Kola at the pound when I broke up with my first girlfriend, and Kevin we found on the street.”) are sniffing at their master’s ankles. Oh, and we’re at his house. The famous never let you come to their house.

Lutz, 26, gives the first impression not so much of a movie star or A-list model, even though he appears as the god Poseidon in the sabre-clanking 3-D epic Immortals, and on billboards as big as your apartment building for Calvin Klein’s X underwear line (he also plays a vampire in the moderately successful Twilight film franchise, the final installment of which opens in November).

Next Movie: Julia Jones Describes the Wolfpack as a Boys Club

What’s it like being just about the only girl to deal with the wolfpack actors day-in and day-out on the set of Breaking Dawn? Julia Jones describes it all!

“I felt so privy to their conversations, they literally stopped censoring themselves around me,” Jones says of Taylor Lautner, Boo Boo Stewart and the rest. “At a certain point… they said, ‘We’re just not going to try to clean this up at all for you.’

“It’s mostly fun and it’s a little bit sometimes like… you want to puke. [Laughs] But for the most part, it’s really wonderful.”
