Fans Meet Taylor Lautner in Pittsburgh Area
The local ABC affiliate reports
“Many people — mostly young ladies — were up at 6 a.m. Monday and hoping for a peek at “Abduction” star Taylor Lautner on the set at Hampton High School in Hampton Township. “I heard that students made their parents change vacation plans. They couldn’t be out of town,” Principal Jeff Finch said. The movie studio Lionsgate is using the school’s name, band, cheerleaders and dance team in “Abduction.” The wrestling coach even helped train Lautner for a scene.”
During his lunch break Taylor came over and greeted fans waiting on the sidelines. Lexiconer Cathy got her photo taken with Taylor (see above).
Melissa Rosenberg, Breaking Dawn Glimpse
Melissa Rosenberg talked to Pop Sugar about what may or may not be included in Breaking Dawn.
“PopSugar: How did you feel about the decision to split Breaking Dawn into two movies?
Melissa Rosenberg: Relief, actually, because it was going to be quite a challenge to condense such a large book into one movie. That’s always the challenge with all of these and, more so, Breaking Dawn. Having a little more room to breathe is nice . . . on the other hand, there’s also the challenge of making sure there’s enough to fill two movies.
PS: We’ve heard there are some scenes you want to avoid showing on screen in Breaking Dawn. For example, Bella giving birth. Can you tell us why?
MR: That was a misquote. The childbirth — all the scenes, I feel — should be on screen. I think perhaps what I was referring to was, would we actually see Edward’s teeth through the placenta? I don’t think so. I don’t think we need to see that, and if someone needs to see that, I think they should take a look at that. [Laughs.] I believe it will be implied, but I don’t think we’ll see teeth in the placenta”

Robert Pattinson in German Magazine Interview
Robert Pattinson talks about Twilight and his upcoming Water for Elephants that he is currently filming.
“How do you sympathize with Edward in respect to women? Is he the knight in shining armor about whom we apparently all still dream?
I hear often that this story is too old-fashioned and encourages women to take on subservient roles. I don’t think that at all! Even when Bella sometimes has moments of helplessness, she is still only a fictional character. What are we coming to, if every fictional film character is automatically a role model for our society!
“Twilight” represents very old-fashioned values. Bella and Edward first go to bed with each other after their marriage. Are you also against sex before marriage?
I believe rather, that everyone has sex before marriage (laughs)—then and now. I also don’t believe that girls ‘must respect themselves’ or that boys only want ‘the one’. If you behave like a gentleman, because chastity really suits you—okay. But if you take it for the newest fad in the dating world, then it’s rather off the mark.
You said once, you find that the saga, without sex, is sexy…
Yeah, I think so. Every one of us knows the time, before something happens between a couple, when you’re still totally insecure: Does the other person like me or not? That is definitely the riskiest time! This moment can last an eternity. To this sweet uncertainty also comes anxiety, especially if it’s the first time for both people. I believe this worry stirs up desire. And in this case, the period of desire lasts almost four books.”

The Summer House Coming to ITunes
Back in 2006 Robert Pattinson did a short film entitled The Summer House. Unlike the quirky How to Be, or the decidedly art house Little Ashes this is actually a pretty straight forward performance of a sort of romance.
According to MTV’s Hollywood Crush:
“Gili [the director] felt the character of Richard was a struggle for Rob, because he had to play someone so different from himself. “He’s quite a gentle person. He’s a really nice person. And he has to play quite a not very nice character, and I think he struggled with that,” Gili said. “He wasn’t playing a role that he was particularly comfortable with, but he still manages to have a real presence: brooding, slightly menacing. You’re never quite sure whether he wants her because he wants to have sex with her or because he loves her. And I think he delivers that brilliantly.”
After watching the short, we have to agree with her on Rob’s performance, and “Twilight” fans will see a little bit of what would become Edward Cullen in Rob’s portrayal of Richard…
“The Summer House” had its premiere at the Toronto Film Festival earlier this year, and is going to be offered for $1.99 on iTunes starting July 13 by Shorts International. It will next be shown at the Rushes Soho Short Film Festival later this month.”
With the price being $1.99, with the promise of a glimpse at some early Edward Cullen inspiration, and with 10 minutes in length that won’t kill anyone’s memory on ITouch, IPhone, or IPod, this could be the portable Rob Pattinson item of the summer.
Singapore Idol Serenades Kristen Stewart
Twilight Singapore told us about this a few weeks ago, now the videos have hit YouTube. The winner of Singapore’s version of American Idol, Sezairi, interviewed the Eclipse cast at the LA Press junket for Singapore TV. Part of his plan was to sing for them. Keep in mind they literally see hundreds of outlets on press junket day, each one of five minutes and they get pretty slap happy and mentally fried. This is how it went:
