A very Happy Birthday to Rob! Shout out to two of the oldest Robert Pattinson fansites who have been covering Rob’s career since before his popularity exploded. They each put together great birthday fan projects for Rob.

New York Times: Kellan Lutz: Stretching a Six-Pack
The New York Times has a retrospective on the Calvin Klein underwear campaigns over the years. They interview Kellan about what his current campaing means to him.
““It is simple: whoever represents Calvin becomes a star,” said Sam Shahid, the art director who worked with Mr. Weber and Mr. Klein on many of the early campaigns. “What’s amazing is the longevity this has had.”
The work that goes into a single campaign image is considerable — Mr. Lutz worked with a trainer for weeks to bulk up his chicken legs, gave up candy and thought back to all he had learned from his earlier modeling days to capture a look, he said, that suggested he could just as well have been walking down a street, holding a smile and having a conversation with someone without thinking, “Gosh, I’m in my underwear.”
“You have to look like you enjoy what you’re selling,” Mr. Lutz said. “It doesn’t look that hard, but a lot of people don’t think about what goes into it.”
The effect, as intended, was almost immediate.
“I won’t lie about it,” he said. “I started getting text messages and calls from producers, and when I went into meetings for scripts, people were always commenting on the billboard and asking for pictures for their daughters.””
Kellen is making an appearance in the Macy’s flagship 34th Street store this weekend. You can read the entire article on the New York Times.

Confirmed By The MPAA: Eclipse To Be Rated PG-13
According to Box Office Mojo:
“The Motion Picture Association of America’s Classification and Ratings Administration released their weekly ratings bulletin this morning, which included a rating for the highly anticipated third part of The Twilight Saga.
The Twilight Saga: Eclipse received a PG-13 rating for “intense sequences of action and violence, and some sensuality.” Both Twilight and New Moon were PG-13 as well, but for slightly different, and somewhat telling, reasons: Twilight garnered its rating due to “some violence and a scene of sensuality,” while New Moon earned it for “some violence and action.”
It is our belief that Breaking Dawn will garner a PG-13 rating under similar reasoning when its time comes. Is anyone surprised that it got a PG-13 rating, or did you think it would be plain PG?

Chop Shop Wants Your Feedback
The crew at Chop Shop, the outlet that has put together the Twilight Saga soundtracks, notably headed by Alexandra Patsavas, wants your opinion of the artists on the soundtrack. Click here and let them know what you think of the current choices (granted they are still in the process of rolling them out) and any that you might want to see in the future.
Darling Buds Live at the Macbeth!
Jamie Campbell Bower’s band The Darling Buds (not to be confused with the old Catherine Zeta Jone TV series by the same name) played at the Macbeth in London last night.
The Eclipse Soundtrack: The Slow Reveal
MySpace is releasing a soundtrack artist’s name in random order every 30 minutes today. Come back here and we will update when we have the information.
According to MySpace:
“And… everyone exhale.
Because after weeks of rampant speculation (both on and off this site) we can finally confirm who will be on The Twilight Saga: Eclipse soundtrack. But this information will not be procured easily. No, instead for the next seven hours we will be revealing the soundtrack’s artists one at time, every half-an-hour on the hour.
Oh, and just because we want to this to be as dramatic as possible (seemed appropriate given the movie) we will not be rolling out the bands in order. Instead, the tracklist will gradually fill up as the day goes on.
Our apologies in advance to all the cranky bloggers who were ased to cover this by their employer. But hey, we’re in a recession: At least you’re getting paid!”
On a personal note to the writer of the MySpace write-up, the Lexicon isn’t getting paid nor are the other Twilight bloggers, and I wasn’t “ased” (sic) to do this by my employer.
