Muse, which is arguably the band that has the single most connection to Stephenie Meyer’s writing, played on Saturday Night Live. Stephenie has met the band numerous times. Recently frontman Matthew Bellamy snapped a TwitPic of himself and Stephenie together. Stephenie thanks Muse for being “her Muse” in the Breaking Dawn acknowledgments.
Which Muse song is your favorite?
Anna Kendrick talks to USA today about her favorite spots on the globe which range from Nebraska to Scotland. She also talks about some of her travel tips, which we totally agree on the shower and bed points that she makes. Q: Did you learn anything about traveling while making Up in the Air?
A: I’m getting better about going through security. I’m trying to be better about wearing slip-on shoes and not forgetting to take my laptop out of my suitcase. Traveling makes me a little nervous, because the actual act of being in an airport means you’re completely at the mercy of other people.
Q: What’s the sexiest place you’ve ever visited?
A: I thought Omaha, Neb., was pretty sexy. I swear to God. Conor Oberst (of Mystic Valley Band fame) came out of there, and where we were staying was near all these record shops and used T-shirt shops. They all had this kind of rock ‘n’ roll vibe. It was like every person walking down the street was going to be the next big thing. I’ve got a real thing for kind of rebellious, music-looking guys.
Q: Where have you been recently, and what did you like about it?
A: I went to London to do some press. They don’t have a lot of foods that I’m used to having available at all times, but I did enjoy sticky toffee pudding, shepherd’s pie and black pudding for the first time. Even though (the British) don’t have a reputation for having the best food in the world, I definitely went on quite a binge.

Norma Hill-Patton, the make-up department head on The Twilight Saga: New Moon, was recently featured as a keynote speaker at the first-ever International Make-Up Artist Trade Show (IMATS) in Toronto. Industry professionals and Twilight fans listened to Hill-Patton as she talked with IMATS Show Director and Make-Up Artist magazine Publisher Michael Key about her career and creating the looks for New Moon’s vampires, wolves and Volturi characters.
Later in the day, a long line of fans waited to get her autograph and gathered to see her do live Edward and Jane make-up recreations in the Make-Up Artist magazine booth.

A very happy birthday to Jackson Rathbone who turns 25 today. Jackson celebrated in Las Vegas a couple of days ago at the famous Bellagio Hotel and resort. On hand were his 100 Monkeys band mates. EW tells us, “New Moon director Chris Weitz spills the beans on a few things he hid in the film – exclusively in this week’s Entertainment Weekly. Some clues include hidden wolves, vampire elevator music, an element to Bella’s baggage, speed tricks, the answer to what Jacob says to Bella before he almost kisses her.”
