New Eclipse Footage from E! News and Moviefone

There are lots of spoilers in this footage – at least what I consider movie type spoilers.  For those of you really anxious to see the action in Eclipse, this clip will give you a great look at the many action sequences.  But do be warned, for those of you trying to stay somewhat spoiler free, that there is quite a bit in this that hasn’t been seen yet about the Cullens and the wolves working together.

And if that isn’t enough for you, Moviefone has even more footage in HD on their website. Pel is in the air right now or I’m sure she would know how to embed this media! But for the time being, you can click the link to Moviefone and enjoy the video over there.

One of the coolest tattoos that Pel ever saw is above! It reads vampire if you look at it one way an werewolf if you look at it the other way.

Kellan Lutz, Nikki Reed, and Ashley Greene To Do Moviefone’s Unscripted

In the past we’ve seen Moviefone unscripted with Stephenie Meyer, Kristen Stewart, and Robert Pattinson for Twilight and with the Volturi for New Moon. Now it’s Kellan, Nikki, and Ashley’s turn. According to Moviefone:

“Hold out a little longer Twihards, the latest installment of ‘Twilight’ is almost here! ‘Eclipse’ swoops into theaters June 30, and its stars Kellan Lutz (Emmett Cullen), Nikki Reed (Rosalie Hale) and Ashley Greene (Alice Cullen) will be taking your questions for a new session of Unscripted.

In the newest flick, the Cullens team up with the werewolf pack to stop a newborn vampire army.

On Saturday, June 12, the Cullen kids will be stopping by our Moviefone Unscripted studio to ask each other questions submitted by you.

You can ask them anything from their favorite behind-the-scenes moment to what it was like teaming up with the werewolves. Just make sure to submit your questions by Fri., June 11 at 12PM ET”

So go to Moviefone and leave your questions there.

Edited: They are also asking Taylor Lautner, Robert Pattinson, and Kristen Stewart fan questions at the press junket, but that is not part of Unscripted.

Moviefone: Real Life Edward Cullens Speak Up.

Robert_Kristen_kissImagine going through most of your life with a seemingly inconsequential name. The next thing you know “Edward Cullen” is on everyone’s lips.  Well Moviefone examines just what life has become for real life Edward Cullens of all ages.

“As ‘Twilight’ fans have long known, Edward Cullen is the sexy (if not a little pasty) hero of the mega-movie franchise based on Stephenie Meyer‘s book series. Pale, strong, devoted and ready to save the moody Bella at any given second, Edward is a god — or rather, a vampire — among men who’s awesomeness is matched only by ‘Twilight”s resident werewolf, Jacob.

Since ‘Twilight’ made its debut in 2008, the movie’s stars have themselves achieved cult status. Taylor Lautner scored a Rolling Stone cover and Kristen Stewart’s pouty pics have become all the more frequent in celebrity rags. But it’s fluffy-haired Robert Pattinson who leads the pack as the vampire heartthrob, garnering increasing numbers of lovelorn fans as he practically inhabits the ageless Edward, complete with inner torture, unwavering commitment, a cool, rock-star demeanor and alluring deep thoughts; Pattinson’s portrayal is now synonymous with the fictional Edward Cullen.

It may come as a shock for some fans, but not every Edward Cullen can kill with his teeth, fly without a plane ticket or create such a fabulous coif. There’s a whole pack of real-life guys who share the character’s name — and manage their parallel reputations. As the saga’s third installment, ‘Eclipse,’ nears release (the film is set to arrive June 30), Moviefone looked to a handful of real Edward Cullens (via e-mail) to see what it’s like to be a mere mortal with a world-famous vampire’s name.”

Moviefone Interviews The New Yorkers Lining Up For Peter Facinelli

It’s a good thing that there were record breaking temperatures in New York City the night of the New Moon DVD release. It was near 70 degrees. Otherwise the people lined up on the street outside of Best Buy would have frozen waiting their turn to get into the store to see Peter Facinelli!

Moviefone: Robert Pattinson, Remember Me

Moviefone has an interview with Robert Pattinson and the other key players in the Remember me cast. The majority of the the questions are fan submissions.

Check out the interview here.

No Klingons Allowed: A Look at a Twilight Convention

twilight-fan-poster-240Myriam, the MSN Superfan, is guest writing for Moviefone. She has a piece up about attending a the Official Twilight Convention in Seattle.

“Twi Tour hit Seattle last month, and I eagerly went to experience my first real fan convention. I arrived on Friday afternoon, just as The Hillywood Show finished presenting their ‘New Moon’ parody. I checked out the vendors room, then enjoyed watching the exclusive taped interviews with the ‘New Moon’ cast, projected on two large screens on either side of the stage. The actors answered questions sent in by fans; the interviews are lighthearted and fun, and there is much laughter from an appreciative audience. Taylor Lautner’s acting idol? Christian Slater. Jamie Campbell Bower’s biggest fear? Spiders.

Now it was time to sit back and watch the Yes/No Trivia Competition: three rounds of ‘Twilight’ trivia questions, with the last person remaining awarded a $250 gift certificate, a professional makeover, and a lucky spot at the Volturi Court during Saturday night’s party. Believe it or not, a man won — quite a feat, considering that 95 percent of the convention’s attendees were female. He gave the makeover to his wife (still not sure if she was happy or mad about that…)…”

Now we can’t say that we’ve ever seen a Klingon at an official Twilight Convention stop, but apparently one showed up at TwiCon last year. So we suppose if a Klingon, a Wookie, or a Browncoat wanted to show up in costume they could. If would make for a very surreal conversation, “So, are the folks on Rigel 7 mostly Team Edward or Team Jacob?” Anyway check out the rest of Myriam’s account over at Moviefone.
