Alex’s Lemonade Stand Fundraiser for Peter Facinelli’s Birthday

This press release just in:

Actor Peter Facinelli, currently seen in The Twilight Saga movies as Dr. Carlisle Cullen and Showtime’s Nurse Jackie as Dr. Fitch Cooper, has made many personal appearances, making himself accessible to thousands of fans in the last year. A vocal supporter of Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation for Childhood Cancer (ALSF), he uses these appearances to raise awareness and money for this cause.

Peter’s fans are honoring him and his generosity in conjunction with his November 26 birthday by raising funds for ALSF via a virtual lemonade stand and raffle. For every $2 a person contributes, they will get a raffle ticket that they can put toward a Twilight gift package of their choice. In addition, for every $10 a person contributes, the person also will get a raffle ticket to enter for a Twilight autographed item of their choice. Autographed items include items signed by Peter Facinelli, Kellan Lutz, Ashley Greene, Chaske Spencer, Tinsel Korey, Alex Meraz, Daniel Cudmore, Charlie Bewley and more to be added. A special autographed item will be awarded to the person who raises the most money.

Some More Eclipse DVD Details.

We are getting a lot of questions on the DVD’s Blu-Ray’s etc for Eclipse. The biggest concern people have seems to be whether they are going to have to buy from multiple vendors to get exclusive content. In other words, in the New Moon DVD release Target, Walmart, and Borders each had different outtakes, extras, featurettes, cast interviews etc.

We asked Summit a couple of months ago about this, and they told us that what is offered content-wise will be the same vendor to vendor on comparable products (ie: comparing single-disc to single-disc, two-disc to two-disc).  The only thing that may differ are the packaging items. So a given vendor might have a specially stylized box, another one might offer a poster or a tee shirt as a perk, but the actual content on the DVD should remain the same within a given country.

What might happen is when it comes to foreign distributors, they might include some extras like if a press conference or a premiere went on in that country, they may have a few clips of that media event, but the studio driven content is the same. So, you don’t have to buy three different discs from three different manufacturers just to get all the Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, Stephenie Meyer, etc extras that you want.

Hope that helps. If there is a point that we are missing, put the question in the comments and we’ll see if we can get an answer.

How Renesmee Was Cast

The Mackenzie Foy fansite Nessie Mackenzie has a breakdown of the casting process for Renesmee complete with the call sheet as well as a video of another actress auditioning for the roll.  You can hear some of the early dialogue for Renesmee as well as the casting director in the background giving her the prompts.  Please remember that this was this actresses FIRST audition ever and she was not cast as Renesmee.  This is not Mackenzie.  So take that into consideration when commenting.  It should also be noted that lines used in the casting process aren’t generally from the final script.  They make an audition script based on what the actress will need to do in the final movie.  Leave a comment and let us know what you think about these early lines and how you think this could play out in the final script.

Kristen Stewart Chimes in on Breaking Dawn Script and Pregnancy Suit

MTVs Hollywood Crush caught up with Kristen while promoting Welcome to the Rileys.  She talks about enjoying the script and how it feels to come to the end of the saga.

In a related interview with Hollywood Life, Kristen talks about wearing the pregnancy belly for Breaking Dawn and the diet she is currently on to maintain her future vampire figure.

“I’ve worn it. It’s … crazy. I’ve done fittings,” she said. “It gets immense. It gets so massive at some point that it actually looks inhuman. Like it’s hurting her. There are striations of bruises.”

Be sure to read the full article over at Hollywood Life.

Kellan Lutz Spanish Men’s Health Cover and New Interview

It seems Kellan has been heating things up for Spanish fans!  First he’s on the cover of the Spanish version of Men’s Health along with a very sexy photo spread.  He’s also given an interview with elmulticine.com where he talks about his character moving forward with Breaking Dawn and director Bill Condon as well as his upcoming projects and charity work.  The interview was originally done in Spanish and translated by the folks over at Kellan Lutz Online where you can read the whole translation.

How would you define your character of Emmett?
Kellan Lutz: The older brother is there to protect your family, and together with his superhuman strength, appreciate what is known invincible and face things with a smile, because when you’re not afraid of anything, you can enjoy it more.

NBC PopcornBiz: Melissa Rosenberg Gets to Expand on Breaking Dawn

MelissaandvolOne of the things that we always look forward to in the Twilight movies is the fact that point-of-view is expanded. The books, other than for one section on Eclipse and one section on Breaking Dawn, are from Bella’s point-of-view. So unless Bella saw something with her own eyes, we only get to hear about it and not really see it.

One of the best scenes in Eclipse, in our opinion, is the battle with the newborns and the fact that we get to see it and not just hear about it.

Melissa Rosenberg talked about this opportunity in Breaking Dawn with NBC’s PopcornBiz:

“I did actually [get to do that], because we got to fill out the story because we’re doing the next two movies,” said Rosenberg. “So there was room to play and expand on some of the characters that Stephanie introduces. That was a lot of fun.”

“It’s a much more grownup movie – It’s an adult story,” the writer said of evolving the franchise beyond its high school origins. “The stakes are raised even higher because it’s not the story of teens. It’s the stories of grownups, so we’re talking about marriage and children and family – and these are pretty grownup things, but sexy.”
