According to their press release:
MTV and Reprise Records Grammy® Award-winning rock band Green Day today announced the network will exclusively premiere the trio’s new music video for “The Forgotten,” the first music video from Summit Entertainment’s THE TWILIGHT SAGA: BREAKING DAWN – PART 2 soundtrack that features footage from the film, on Tuesday, October 30 at 6:55 p.m. ET/PT on MTV and MTV.com. This is the band’s first contribution to a TWILIGHT soundtrack.
If you live in a major metropolitan area you’ve probably seen Breaking Dawn billboards popping up over the last week. Well now the standees and banners are in theaters. So news is that the banners look to us like they are vinyl so start bribing your local theatre owner to get one when they are done, because unlike paper and cardboard, those will last.

A record-breaking number of Twilight Saga fans will participate in the SummitEntertainment-hosted fan camp at L.A. Live in anticipation of THE TWILIGHT SAGA: BREAKING DAWN – PART 2 world premiere. Beginning Thursday, November 8th, diehard fans from around the world will begin camping for the chance to see the stars of THE TWILIGHT SAGA: BREAKING DAWN – PART 2 walk the black carpet one final time at the November 12thpremiere at Los Angeles’ Nokia Theatre.
After a huge turnout last year with over 1,200 fans participating, Summit offered spots at this year’s camp to 1,500 campers. Due to an amplified response from fans, the studio increased the camp size to accommodate a total of 2,250 campers. This will be the franchise’s largest camp to date and will host nearly double the amount of campers from last year. In recognition of their loyalty, Summit Entertainment will host a series of activities over the four days for campers. Event details to be announced soon.
Our friends over at His Golden Eyes (now known as pages to premiere) have some fantastic advice for those camping out at the premiere next week. A lot of newbies have been emailing us and now you have advice courtesy of Amy (Oh My Carlisle on twitter) who camped for the first time last year and is back in camp section 6 this year.
I camped out for ‘The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, Part 1’ premiere and I will be out there again this year (Shout out to Group 6!). These tips are based on my experience and I tried to cover as much as I can think of to cover. I also live in the Los Angeles area. I’ve included images from my experience to give you some visuals as well!
Book a local hotel room!
I can’t stress this one enough. Do you really want to get near Robert Pattinson after not showering for four days? Hotels are your home base. You can charge your electronic devices and get online. You can store items that are expensive or you don’t want to get ruined by the elements. You can get a shower and use a toilet. You can get warm or cool off. You can take a nap in a bed. A lot of people book a hotel room and split it among a group bigger than the occupancy because they are not sleeping in the room. I could never do this without having a hotel room within walking distance and I wouldn’t recommend anyone else do it either.Prepare for the elements
Southern California may have a reputation for sunny and 70 degrees, but as campers learned last year, that is definitely not always the case. On the second night of BD1 camp a storm blew in that flooded tents, soaked campers and blew some items away. Make sure your tent is waterproof. Make sure you bring extra layers including gloves and hats. It can get very chilly, especially at night when you are tying to sleep on concrete. Conversely, it could be 90 degrees and sunny the whole time. Don’t forget sunscreen. Most importantly, keep an eye on the weather forecast.

Here’s what Charlotte and Randall ( Valorie Curry and Bill Tangradi) look like. Check out the background on these two nomads in our character bios.
It’s getting tougher with some of our favorites going head to head like Esme vs. Carlisle and Renesmee vs. Jasper, and Peter vs. Edward isn’t as much of a complete blow out as you’d think!
Get over to MTV and vote!
