This month we celebrate four years of being on line with the Twilight fandom. We posted a podcast last week talking about all kinds of funny moments and lessons learned over our time online.

Every Wednesday for the rest of the month we will be giving away birthday gifts to you, our dedicated readers, as a way of saying thank you for sticking with us and supporting us. Each week we will ask a question that can be answered by listening to the podcast.

All you have to do is listen to the podcast for the answer and then post your answer here on the blog. We will pick one winner at random at midnight eastern on March 11.

New Moon T-Shirts for $5

When fans buy any version of “The Twilight Saga: New Moon” DVD, they can also purchase any New Moon T-shirt for just $5 through March 22. (The promotion begins March 16.) The shirts normally retail for between $19.99 and $24.99. (While the DVD won’t be available at the start of the promotion, fans can buy “Twilight: The Graphic Novel Vol. 1,” available beginning March 16, and receive a New Moon T-shirt for $5 (quantities and sizes limited).

Additional Party Details
The festivities kick off at 10 p.m. when fans will be welcomed with a specially-recorded video message from Rob, Kristen, Taylor & and the Cullens after which they’ll enjoy a host of activities including:
· Charades – fans who think they can do a great Bella or a convincing Alice will have their chance to show their stuff during the charades portion of the evening

· Movie debate – sponsored by fan site TwilightSeriesTheories.com, Twilight followers will go head-to-head on such questions as “is Bella a good role model for young girls?” and “was the New Moon movie better than the Twilight movie?”

Walmart New Moon Release Special Info

We have been told that in 3500 Walmarts across the nation New Moon mini stores/kiosks will be opening tomorrow (March 10th). Each store will have a New Moon Hotspot located behind the accessories area. Some store will feature 2 New Moon locations with the additional location being in the electronics area.

These hotspots will be where Walmart will be hosting their DVD midnight release parties on March 20th. Unlike corporate parties in the past, Walmart seems to know what fans want. Exclusively we have inside information on some of the party plans….

The first 100 in line will be getting special goodies.

These goodies will include a folder with:

New Moon trading cards
Temporary tattoos
Stickers

There will be games and New Moon water bottles will be one of the prizes. I might be partying at a Walmart this go round. Want to find a Walmart party near you? Go here.

Robert Pattinson Defends Chris Weitz

The video clip above gives a little teaser of teh interview found here. Our favorite part is quoted below:

“A lesson in anger control.
“While we were filming, one of the security guys saw me getting more and more upset with the paparazzi guys. He just sort of came up and was like, ‘Imagine going out there and trying to hit one of them while, let’s say, 40 cameras are clicking away.’ That was enough to kind of calm my frustration. But, at the end of the day, you can’t say, ‘I’m not doing it until these people go away.’ You have to keep acting. So it was definitely way more intense than any of the Twilight films.”

Maybe he skips the reviews.
“I didn’t like the way New Moon was treated by the critics. I think it was reviewed in the context of just being a big franchise movie. When something is so hyped, inevitably, there is a backlash against it. I think Chris Weitz is an amazing director. I really enjoyed the film. So the naysayers kind of annoyed me.”
