E! Kristen Stewart Still Excited for Twilight and Jodi Foster on Kristen’s Career
Jodi Foster who played Kristen Stewart’s mother in the film Panic Room (rent it if you haven’t seen it, it’s a great thriller) commented on Kristen’s career to E!’s Marc Malken:
“She’s a great person, and I’m not surprised she’s gone on to to do great things,” Foster told me last night at Elle magazine’s Women in Hollywood awards show at the Four Seasons in Beverly Hills. “But I am surprised she is an actress.”
Why?
“I didn’t think that’s where she was headed,” Foster explained. “And even though her mom said, ‘No, she really really wants to be an actress,’ I felt like, Nah, she won’t because she really doesn’t have the stereotypical personality.”
Meaning Stewart was not all about trying to become famous? “Who does?” Foster said. “Anybody who has a brain doesn’t. That tells you how smart Kristen Stewart is.”
MTV: Kristen Stewart on the Bella’s Wedding Dress Process
See our slideshow below on what Stephenie Meyer said Bella’s dress looked like when fans first asked her about it almost three years ago. The photos went along with this quote on the old Lexicon forums, “I wish I still had the picture I based the description of Bella’s dress on, but it was lost in my fateful computer crash. Those of you who are going with the old fashioned look are on the right track. Two key words to aid in the search: art nouveau. It’s a simpler style than the frillier Edwardian stuff. Elegant white satin, cut on the bias, with long sleeves (the strapless thing is a very recent development. It wasn’t even popular when I was getting married, only 13 years ago, much less during the modest turn of the century). I search google images for the dress every now and then. I’ll let you know if I find something close one of these days.”
One of our Lexicon members (Love2Dream) had a Bella’s Wedding Dress website and she graciously allowed us to use the above information when the website folded.
So do you favor a book version wedding dress or a totally new take?
Team Edward POV Interviews Gil Birmingham
This summer at the first Italian Twilight convention in Rome, I had the pleasure of meeting Cleopatra who runs the website Team Edward POV. Cleopatra hails from Greece, she is a fanfic author, and she runs a great website. Today, she is sharing her interview with Gil Birmingham who was also at the convention.
Would you like to tell us more about your new movie with Chaske? It is called Shouting Secrets, right?
Yes, Shouting Secrets is a story of a family dealing with the history of the interactions between the different members. When one member tells the stories of the family in a book and then that book becomes a best seller. The writer of the book separates from the family and starts living in the big city, enjoying the big life being a celebrity. He is not revisited his origins for many years until his mother befalls sick and he is forced to come back and deal with all the tension, resentments and the love that still really exists between all the different family members and how they have come to a resolution with that.
It was hard to play that character while Chaske played another, considering your history with Twilight and your dynamic? Or you had chemistry so it was easier for you to fight?
Yes, we have a chemistry because we have done 5 movies together already, it’s not just Twilight. And we have great trust between us to be able to access that emotional body that was necessary for these characters. It’s like two people kind of jumping off a cliff together and trusting each other and what would come from that. So, it was really a wonderful experience to deal at safe with another actor.

24 Frames: Kristen Stewart on Bella’s Evolution
The LA Times 24 Frames blog talked to Kristen Stewart about Welcome to the Rileys, Breaking Dawn and how people judge Bella.
“Stewart, who was speaking to 24 Frames to promote her new independent drama “Welcome to the Rileys,” said she thinks her “Twilight” character has been misunderstood. “Bella’s criticized sometimes for being, like, you know — I don’t know, selfish and overly emotional and silly and frivolous and annoying and young,” said Stewart. “That’s sort of like a very judgmental way of looking at it.”
