E! Kristen Stewart Still Excited for Twilight and Jodi Foster on Kristen’s Career

Jodi Foster who played Kristen Stewart’s mother in the film Panic Room (rent it if you haven’t seen it, it’s a great thriller) commented on Kristen’s career to E!’s Marc Malken:

“She’s a great person, and I’m not surprised she’s gone on to to do great things,” Foster told me last night at Elle magazine’s Women in Hollywood awards show at the Four Seasons in Beverly Hills. “But I am surprised she is an actress.”

“I didn’t think that’s where she was headed,” Foster explained. “And even though her mom said, ‘No, she really really wants to be an actress,’ I felt like, Nah, she won’t because she really doesn’t have the stereotypical personality.”

Meaning Stewart was not all about trying to become famous? “Who does?” Foster said. “Anybody who has a brain doesn’t. That tells you how smart Kristen Stewart is.”

  1. That’s one reason I love Kristen. She’s not like your typical Hollywood actress who wants it for the fame, money, & partying. (AKA Lindsay Lohan, Paris Hilton.)

  2. Exactly why I admire Kristen. She is real and does not have the desire to “conform” to Hollywood’s usual standards. However, that is the reason why she gets bashed so much within the media – they do not want an actress who is real. They can not manipulate her or mold her into what they want. She doesn’t want her relationship open to the tabloids, as someone like Ashley Greene who enjoys being photographed with her latest bf. Kristen’s relationship is private as it should be.

  3. Well said Pennybug and Sara! Couldn’t agree more. KStew rocks!!

  4. Martha Souza says:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zqKwaBsYbv4 Video of Kristen after Regis and KElly with fans! 🙂 she was so sweet with us!

  5. I’m happy that Kristen is real and not fake like many other people in Hollywood. She’s a better role model of how to keep humble and private when you’re name seems to pop up everywhere. Stay true to yourself Kristen!
