Bella’s Purple Comforter Is Back…While Supplies Last

Have you been trying to get your hands on the purple comforter that Bella has in the Twilight and New Moon movies? Well, Lexiconer Gina wrote in with some news:

“Just wanted to share some great news! For months I (and evidently many others) have been hounding Target to bring back the Bella purple comforter, and it’s finally back!! You can pre-order only at this time. When I put my order in, it said the estimated ship date was May 14-16. And while they aren’t advertising the fact that it’s there, I have no doubt it will sell out quick! If I try to copy and paste the link, it’s really long. So if you go to the Target website and type in “home purple flocked comforter” it’ll come right up. Just wanted to share with you if you wanted to pass it along. ”

We tracked down the link and it’s right here.

CNN: Chris Weitz Interview

chris-weitz-new-moonCNN talked to Chris Weitz about the upcoming New Moon DVD.

“Chris Weitz was determined to get the moon right. And when you have a movie about vampires and werewolves whose fans pay attention to every detail, it’s important to get the moon right.

For the director of “The Twilight Saga: New Moon,” though, the impetus for showing the moon phase properly in the shot that opens the film was an astrophysicist, not a Twihard.

“I went to a lecture by Neil deGrasse Tyson where he’s complaining that they’d gotten the stars in ‘Titanic’ wrong,” Weitz said. “So his voice was in the back of my head, that we had to get the phase of the moon properly.”

“New Moon,” which comes out on DVD Saturday, did a lot of things properly, indicated by the fans’ support. Though “Twilight,” the first film in the series, received respectful reviews and good box office, “New Moon” — which continues the story of lovestruck human Bella and vampire Edward — was the bigger blockbuster, outgrossing the first film by more than $100 million domestically and earning more than $700 million worldwide.”

“While playing various roles, Kristen Stewart has had the opportunity to share onscreen kisses with both Robert Pattinson’s Edward Cullen in the “Twilight” movies and Dakota Fanning’s Cherie Currie in their new girl-power rock flick, “The Runaways.” So we obviously had to ask: Who is the better kisser?

We caught up with a dazzling, Pucci minidress-clad Stewart on the red carpet for the New York premiere of “The Runaways” and she gave us the answer. “Cherie, yeah,” she laughed.”
