Here is some behind the scenes footage of Kristen Stewart’s photo shoot for Elle UK.

Gil Birmingham and Chaske Spencer on set for Shouting Secrets

Chaske Spencer and Gil Birmingham are working together on the film Shouting Secrets.  Gil updated his Facebook page with photos from the set.  I’m particularly fond of the photo of Tantoo Cardinal (who was in Dances with Wolves) in a lobster suit!

Gil Birmingham will be at the Twilight ItaCon hosted by Fantasy Events this weekend in Rome.  For our Italian fans, visit their website for information.

A local Fox news station out of the Boston area has an interview with Julia Jones.

Fansite Friday’s Presents: Tyson Houseman

Fansite Fridays are back! The Fansites were allowed to interview several stars from the upcoming  Twilight Saga: Eclipse. To kick things off we have a great interview with Tyson Houseman who plays Quil Atera.  Make sure to check back every Friday to see who else we interviewed!

Q: So even though your character was introduced in New Moon, you really didn’t get to jump into the action until Eclipse. Did you kind of feel a little bit like Quil – that you were left out of the fun? And was it worth the wait getting to participate more in Eclipse?

Tyson: Yeah, there were actually a lot of similarities between me and the character. In New Moon, like you said, I only had like one day of shooting on set, and so every time I would see the other wolf guys they would always talk about all the fun times they were having on set, and stuff like that. And I kinda felt like I was missing out on that. And so I was really excited for Eclipse when we started that one. I was a wolf and a member of the wolf pack. So I got to hang out with the guys again and do all the stuff with them and that was really similar to what the character Quil was doing, too.

Rachelle LeFevre Supporting Her Twilight Family

rachellevictoriaThis is one of those times when words speak for themselves. According to E!:

“Talk about a classy gal.

Even though Rachelle Lefevre has plenty reason to gripe about being replaced in the Twilight franchise by Bryce Dallas Howard, she’s not gonna go there.

In fact…

The ginger beauty tells us she plans to check out Eclipse when it hits theaters next month. “Why wouldn’t I see the movie?” she said yesterday at the Environmental Media Association’s Yes to Carrots Garden Challenge luncheon in L.A. “I support my cast.

“They’re amazing people and they’re great kids and they’re doing awesome work. Why shouldn’t they be supported? And Stephenie Meyer is an incredible writer, as is [screenwriter] Melissa Rosenberg, and I think both of them should be celebrated.”

Plus, she added, she keeps in touch with some of the cast, especially Elizabeth Reaser: “We were like a family.”

Chris Weitz Celebrity DJ

chris-weitz-tuxLexicon reader Nina wrote in to let us know:

“Thought you guys might be interested in posting a link to KCRW- Santa Monica’s Public Radio station. Their Guest DJ project will be featuring songs personally selected by New Moon Director Chris Weitz.

They also had a really nice interview with Alexandra Patsavas last year during their morning Alternative Music program, Morning Becomes Eclectic. During that interview she talked specifically about Music Supervision on the Saga series. It is archived on the site. I would not be surprised if she were featured again as Eclipse opens  given her connection to the music and film industries and her unique ability to acquire yet unpublished songs from cutting edge performers that are often already featured on their show.

Catherine Hardwicke was also featured  last March as a Guest DJ and she discusses “15 Step” by Radiohead and Robert Pattinson’s “Let me sign” how they made it into Twilight.”
