Transcript Wyck Godfrey Interview
The Twilight Saga: New Moon
Fansite Press Junket: His Golden Eyes, Twilighters Anonymous, Twilight Lexicon, Twilight Moms, Twilight Source, Twilight Series Theories
Transcribed by Kimmy of His Golden Eyes
During much of this interview Wyck was whispering because audio levels were being set nearby. The recording was enhanced, but occasional words were lost. Scroll to the bottom of the transcript if you would prefer to listen to the interview or download it.
Wyck: He [Chris Weitz]has an ability to really communicate his ideas very calmly and cleanly. (something is said here that I can’t hear) That’s going to be one big thing for the fans, being like “Oh my Gosh, I had no idea!” None of you were here ever in Portland when we shot Bella’s house, right? (No) We completely built the exact replica.
Q:I know, it’s beautiful! How long did it take to build?
Wyck: Hmm, I don’t know, I think we got it up in like…well first of all what we did was we built it all in the studio, and built the whole thing, and then took it apart in walls and moved it. Yeah, so the building process there was like maybe month of really getting it right. Then getting it up here was maybe like, a week. The landscaping actually was, oddly enough, the thing that takes a lot of time. Trying to get the grass right, and finding the trees, you know? The appropriate trees. [Read more…]
Video of Sites Mentioned By Wyck Godfrey
In producer Wyck Godfrey’s interview, he mentions various locations. We visited some of them the day before we had our set visit.
Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner EW Photoshoot Video
EW.com also has portions of the articel up that will appear in the Fall Movie Preview edition.
Director Chris Weitz wants another take of Edward (Robert Pattinson) fighting off his vampire brother Jasper (Jackson Rathbone), as Stewart lies injured in the background. This is the third freezing night in a row that the cast has worked until dawn, but that doesn’t stop the set from feeling warm and jovial. Pattinson mugs for the movie camera between takes and teases his costar for just lying on the floor in the midst of all the vamp-on-vamp violence. ”Do you want Kristen to give us a little life back there?” he jokes to the director. Kristen smiles. ”I’m just writhing down here,” she says. ”A lot of writhing. I writhe really well.”
Chaske Spencer talk Do Something 101 and Ashley Greene is a Gleek!
A few weeks ago we reported on Chaske Spencer’s participation in Staples’ Do Something 101 charity event. OK! Magazine recently spoke with Chaske and he explained why the cause was close to his heart.
“I understand the importance of when someone can’t afford something. I remember my dad, who also coached football, would buy some of his players football shoes when they couldn’t afford it,” said Chaske.
“He wouldn’t say anything, he wouldn’t make it known, but he would buy them football shoes and they would have them in their locker. So I learned that from my father, to give back.”
For those of you who haven’t seen the pilot of Glee you may not get why Ashley is a Gleek but trust me it is a good thing!
Reminder Taylor is 17.
Fox News is reporting that Taylor Lautner had an unfortunate encounter with an older fan.

No other sources seem to have run the story, we’re hoping it’s an exaggeration. On the off chance it’s not, it’s really so completely not cool no matter what the age of the person to do that to the actor. Here’s to “problem free” events with the actors that are running invarious places this weekend. They do a lot for fans, so we think it’s cool to remember they are people (and some of them are underage people) and give them them the respect anyone deserves.
Cause Jennie Garth is Classy Lady, & She Doesn’t Talk Trash!
We heard the rumor earlier today that Jennie Garth, of all people, supposedly “outed” Robert Pattinson’s off-screen relationship with either Nikki Reed or Kristen Stewart we didn’t believe it, because that’s just not Jennie. She’s no Hollywood newbie to get caught up saying something about other people’s love lives(true or not). As one of Pel’s officemates said, “That gal could wear a brown paper bag and still be the classiest thing in the room.”
We even saw some mainstream entertainment sites totally fall for it, and repeat the story. We didn’t run it because we couldn’t find the original quote on the originating source (usually a sure fire sign that something isn’t right), and well IT’S JENNIE “I EXUDE CLASS” GARTH. Well, Gossip Cop did their homework, contacted the originating source and discovered the details Cop!
Where was Jennie when she supposedly said all this? At a TJ Maxx sponsored charity event.
And now Peter Facinelli has come to Jennie’s defence!
“Complete media fabrication. I read the transcript of what my wife actually said, which was, “My husband talks to me about Twilight stuff, but I promised him I wouldn’t talk about it.” Somehow that got turned into this. @sorichii So hey is it true your wife said this?? http://bit.ly/mXlqk
Its unbelievable how the media can just write whatever they want to sell papers.
Perez, love ya, but check your sources before u blog buddy.” (http://www.twitlonger.com/show/com8)
100 Monkeys Album Now Available
Robert Pattinson Cartoon Hero
If Brett Ratner has his way, Rob will star in his adaptation of Youngblood. According to MTV:
“Robert Pattinson and his brooding “Twilight” alter ego might not be the first things that come to mind when contemplating the casting for Brett Ratner’s upcoming, big-screen adaptation of the superhero series “Youngblood,” but that’s exactly whose name the filmmaker dropped when asked if he had any actors in mind.
“Definitely [Robert Pattinson] from ‘Twilight,'” Ratner told MTV News when asked if he has his eye on any potential “Youngblood” actors at this point. “He just feels like he belongs in that world. I don’t only see him as a vampire, he’s a really good actor.”
EW Cover Shot Info Is Out
The Entertainment Weekly cover story, at least part of it, featuring Taylor Lautner and Kristen Stewart is now online.
“With a new director, a new level of fame for stars Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson, and a new set of washboard abs for Taylor Lautner, the second film in the Twilight series, due Nov. 20, promises even more swooning-opportunities for its fans. This week’s double issue of Entertainment Weekly places Stewart and Lautner on the cover, while revealing secrets from the New Moon set inside.
New Moon, a far different beast than Twilight, is steeped in heartbreak, focusing on the recovery Bella (Stewart) undergoes after Edward (Pattinson) breaks her heart and her new feelings for her friend Jacob (Lautner). Pattinson couldn’t be happier with his downsized role: “It was a stress-free job for three months,” says the actor. “All the pressure was on Taylor.”
