Collider Looking For a Breaking Dawn DVD Reviewer

One of our favorite websites is Collider. The have excellent interviews that don’t just rehash the same old questions all of the time,and they’ve always given Twilight fans a really fair deal by not running a parade of snide comments and cheap shots with their movie news. The owner of the site, Steve, last year reached out to us looking for a reviewer for the Eclipse DVD because he wanted a fan to state if it had what fans wanted. Not being a fan himself, he wanted some “expert” advice. He found a fan reviewer, Gretchen, and she was terrific. This year he is reaching out again. Check out the details on Collider.

Ashley Greene Talks Post Twilight Life in Lucky Magazine

Ashley Greene has a number of upcoming projects and a desire to make her career soar post Twilight.

“I won’t lie, there are times when I’m like, ‘Why is this so hard?'” Ashley Greene is saying. “You come off a high like Twilight and then you get dropped back down to reality.”

We’re sitting in a cozy Italian restaurant near Times Square on a rainy winter evening, and Greene—who is best known for playing Alice Cullen, the cheeriest vampire in the Twilight saga movies—is laying out her game plan for making it even bigger in Hollywood.

“Twilight has given me something to skyrocket off of,” Greene says. “But now that it’s ending, there’s so much work to be done. And if I don’t do it, then Twilight’s all I’m ever going to be known for, as great as it is.”

Audi’s Vampire Themed Superbowl Pitch: “Audi Puts an End to the Vampire Party”

Audi sent us over the following Superbowl ad and this statement to go with it.

“Hi there,

Wanted to share Audi’s :60 Super Bowl spot with you. As you’ll see, it highlights Audi’s LED lights and aims at finally, FINALLY putting an end to the vampire party and to the greater vampire trend in pop culture. It’s about time, don’t you think?”

The press release itself went on to say:

Audi’s signature LED headlights take center stage in the spot. The all-new 2013 Audi S7 arrives at a vampire party in the woods and brings with it an unexpected surprise.

“In the spot, Audi LEDs – which at 5,500 Kelvin produce the closest recreation of daylight available – put an end to the vampire party, and perhaps, to the greater vampire trend in pop culture,” said Scott Keogh, Chief Marketing Officer, Audi of America.

The vampire trend exploded onto the pop culture scene over a decade ago, with over a dozen television shows and over 24 movies launched in recent years, as well as countless books, video games and even vampire-themed cruises.

“Given the power of the Super Bowl platform, we wanted to create an entertaining spot that clearly focused on our LED headlights — one of our key product attributes – while also sparking conversation about whether or not it’s time for us to move on from the omnipresent vampire trend into something new and even more exciting,” Keogh added.

Calling all Twi-hards! Walmart cordially invites Twilight fans to celebrate the marriage of Bella Swan and Edward Cullen on Feb. 10 in more than 2,700 stores.
