The blog is back, Some links are not working within things like character bios and mythology etc. Don’t worry, all the old information is here, it just has to be renamed. Right now certain links point back to the former URL. Pel tells me this is what the admins will be doing over the next month or so.

Until we relink everything back up, if you are really dying to find a specific post use the search function that we added and it should(in theory) find the file. Alternatively, you’ll notice the archive feature that has been added. If you know the approximate date that information was originally added, you can find the item by looking through that month’s archives. All-in-all the site is mostly functional.

Let us know of any broken links you see. By posting in the comments on this thread in case we miss one as we are working

We have from a reliable source that Jackson Rathbone has been cast as Jasper.  If you all remember Stephenie had originally had him as one of her Edward picks.  Jackson’s IMDb can be found here.  There is also a Jackson Rathbone fansite.

On another note MTV has posted an article about new cast members Nikki Reed, Cam Gigandet, Michael Welch, and Rachelle Leferve.  There is also this article on MTV.

The Prologue and Chapter 4 of The Host are now available on Stephenie’s Website.  Also there is a 10 city tour planned for The Host.  This informaiton can be found on The Host Index.

Kellan Lutz has been added to the cast of Twilight as reported in an article on BD.com.  There is no news of who he will be playing but we will update as soon as we get inforamtion.  Here is his IMDb page.

Don’t panic it will be back. I know you currently can’t see the personal correspondence and several other items. We are working on it.  Various times may be going up and down over the next few days.

Also Seth, Stephenie’s Webmaster, posted information about open casting calls for extras.  Thanks to Sara for the heads up.

I have confirmation on a variety of other cast members from a reliable source. I know there are a million rumors circulating out there about other parts, but since I have no credible confirmation, I am not posting other names at this time.

Again, keeping out site policy in mind, you don’t have to like a particular actor.  However, if you are going to critique this actor on this website, it has to do with their performing abilities and not the fact that they have "The wrong color hair, eyes, a tan, are short…" or any other number of superficial things make-up, lighting, and a good camera angle can solve.

Right now we are experiencing trouble transferring the data from our forums. Basically they are so huge every time we try to download the table specific to posts our connection times out. 

Here’s the deal. We are trying to avoid this, but if push comes to shove, we are going to have to delete the following forums (we would open them anew starting from scratch once we move the site):

So if there is something in those forums that you really want to have in the future like a funny quote, some information, whatever: copy that information NOW!  I may have to perform the above deletion at the end of the week.

We would also appreciate it if you could delete unneeded PM’s from your in  and sentboxes.

The Hollywood Reporter (printed edition) has announced that Michael Welch will be playing Mike Newton.  Unfortuantely the article is only available in the print version so we can not host it here. Links to Michael’s Website and his IMDb page.  Recently Michael has been in Joan of Arcadia and the film Lost Dream.  We will update with any new information as soon as we get it.  Thanks to jennalou for sending in this information!!

And just as a heads up, with all the information coming out about the film and the books, we have to ask that you do not copy our posts word for word and put them on your website.  Certainly report the information as it comes to you, but use your own words.  That should go for any news you read about from any website.  Always put the info in your own words and give a link back to the source.

Also just to recap the casting news of the week this is what we know so far(Again this doesn’t mean that the other parts aren’t cast, just we haven;t had that info released from an official source yet.):

1. Filming begins this week in a variety of locations from Arizona to the Pacific Northwest.
2. We know who is playing the following roles because either Summit or the actors’ management companies have released this information:

Bella:         Kristen Stewart
Edward:     Robert Pattinson
Eric:          Justin Chon
Jessica:    Anna Kendrick
James:    Cam Gigandet
