Ashley Greene is doing the PR circuit for The Apparition that opens this weekend. She had another megafranchise buddy on this film–Tom Felton, AKA Draco Malfoy from Harry Potter.

I’d love to play a villain at some point; I think it would be really fun and the polar opposite of Alice. The great thing about Alice is that she is so loveable. I feel like it’s in advantage because now I can take on other characters and people will realize that that’s not just who I am.
On Twilight and Potter rivalry
How was it working with Tom Felton, since he’s Harry Potter and you’re Twilight?
Ashley Greene: Oh, he’s so sweet. He’s really lovely and it was great. I think he’s a really fantastic actor. He was just very fun to be around. It’s an interesting thing whenever you come from two franchises like that. We chatted a little bit about the madness of it all … lots of screaming people. And just the intensity of it all, the kind of zero to sixty of it was what we talked about. Coming from not really doing much and then becoming a part of a book series and then it just exploding and becoming this snowball effect. And chatted about how you become family with these people.

MTV Asks Twilight Fans About Robert Pattinson’s Recent Media Appearances

MTV asked us, Twilight Series Theories and Fangirlish about Robert Pattinson’s recent press tour and Twilight impact. Here’s what Laura had to say:
On the interviews of last week
I’d say that Robert Pattinson conducted himself with a lot of grace under fire with witty comments about breakfast cereal or changed the subject when things were too personal,’ added Laura Byrne Cristiano, owner of TwilightLexicon.com. ‘He’s still happy to talk about his films, and that’s what we really want long-term.’

Byrne Cristiano said she hopes Pattinson reveals a few details about the book-to-screen adaptation and what he might have added to the story or role himself.
‘I really want him to talk about the changes from novel to screenplay and how big of an adjustment it might have been [and] did he have any input,’ she said. ‘Also looking back on the four-year roller-coaster ride, what did he enjoy the most overall and why.’

Twilight Fan Student Refused Diploma For Graduation Speech Inspired by Eclipse

This is one of those things that you shake your head at in disbelief. Even more bizarre it’s a public school that has to adhere to state law, and we’re pretty sure denying a diploma when you have completed course work is illegal. You can deny privileges: prom, field trips, etc, but not the diploma if you have actually completed all the work. By virtue of the fact she was the valedictorian, and in fact was delivering the speech at graduation, it would seem that she had. They only way there might be a loophole here is if she signed some kind of contract where she acknowledged losing her diploma if she went off script. It makes you wonder,if these folks have acquainted themselves their own US History and civics classes. The first amendment, which given this is a public and not a private high school would apply here, you can say any number of things that are unflattering, but they can’t withhold a diploma for that if you have in fact completed your course work.

Final Twilight Conventions Coming Up This Fall

If you haven’t done an official Twilight convention yet, the final ones are taking place this fall in several cities:
San Antonio
Detroit
Parsippany, New Jersey
Burbank
Various actors are attending different conventions. For the final one in Burbank (changed from the traditional LA Marriott Airport location), unfortunately Rob, Kristen, and Taylor are not slated to appear as they have in previous years. The Creation site states:
Although Rob, Kristen and Taylor will not be with us this time out we will have a super line-up of other Twilight stars and the weekend will be filled with special events, movie prop and costume displays, contests, panels, auctions, parties, exclusive merchandise, music and much more, including some surprise
Other guests may pop in depending on their schedule since the convention traditionally coincides with the press junket which typically takes place in nearby Los Angeles. Though various media outlets are incorrectly reporting that Robert, Kristen, and Taylor cancelled appearances on all four conventions, long-time convention fans realize that they were never scheduled for the first three locations. So they did not cancel out on three events. Their availability (or lack thereof in this case) for the November convention is likely tied (since Taylor is not appearing either) to PR commitments that weekend for the final film. Note the Creation site doesn’t state they “cancelled” a term that they typically use when a star backs out for a filming or other conflict. It just says “not appearing” which sounds to us like they weren’t booked to begin with.
