Michael Sheen Not Above Sweeping the Floor
This weekend Michael Sheen’s play The Passion ( a modernized Passion Play) takes place in and around his home town of Port Talbot Wales. There are 1,000’s of people involved from amateurs to professionals. Toni Trucks who plays Mary in Breaking Dawn flew to Wales to help out as well.
The BBC Wales has a great article on what it’s doing for the town and a super video (we can’t embed the video, so scroll down it’s worth the watch)
FOX DC Talks to Robert Pattinson
Trailer: Elizabeth Reaser, The Art of Getting By
Watch for Liz playing Emma Roberts’ mother at around the 1:40 mark. Liz was in Sundance to promote the film this year where is had a huge buzz surrounding it, particularly for co-star Freddie Highmore. Interestingly enough, the surprise sleeper film that blew everyone away at Sundance also starred a Twilight actor: Like Crazy with Charlie Bewley.

Guide and Graphic Novel 2 Dates
We’ve been getting hit with lots of emails of people asking two things:
1. When is the Official Illustrated Guide coming out in my country?
2. When is the Twilight Graphic Novel part 2 coming out?
Here’s what we found out via Little Brown:
They don’t currently have a release date for the Graphic Novel part 2. We are guessing that the reason the image for the graphic novel 2 appears on the inside back flap of the book jacket of the Official Illustrated Guide is that publishers tend not to change up what is on book jackets to save printing costs. Though the part 2 isn’t currently out, one day it will be, and fans will be reminded of these items.
Here is what they told us about dates for editions outside the USA.
April 12
UK (note the UK has Australia, New Zealand, India, Ireland, and South Africa in its distribution)
France
Italy
Netherlands
April 13
Germany
April 18
Brazil
April 26
Denmark
May 15
Mainland China
Fall 2011
Spain
That’s all they had for now and they said they’d give us other dates when they have them. If you don’t mind an edition written in the English language, both Amazon.com and Amazon.UK do ship to other countries depending where you live.
The Official Illustrated Guide Debuts At Number 4 on USA Today List
USA Today is out with their edition of the top 150 books in the USA this week and here is what they had to say about the Official Illustrated Guide:
“Twilight fever: Proving that Twilight fans never say die, Stephenie Meyer returns to the top 10 this week with a new book. The Twilight Saga: The Official Illustrated Guide, a companion to the series and blockbuster movies, enters USA TODAY’s Best-Selling Books list at No. 4. In March, Meyer told USA TODAY: “My favorite part of the guide is the vampire histories,” and she writes in the guide about Edward (played by Robert Pattinson): “Unfortunately Edward isn’t based on anybody — he is all imagination and wishing. I think his allure is partially due to his old-fashioned manners. He’s a gentleman, and those are hard to come by these days.”
The USA Today list is a really unique one on several levels. Their list is very inclusive, for example they allow YA and children’s books on their list where others like The Wall Street Journal and Publishers Weekly don’t. Unlike the New York Times, they don’t divide their list into sub-categories. Everything from cookbooks, to self-help guides, to novels land on the very same list. So, you get a really interesting perspective on what America is reading overall, not just category by category. As a side note, IT’S HUGE that a novel like Water For Elephants that has been out for awhile and is now in paperback is on the list in the number 1 position BEFORE the movie comes out. This should be a good sign for opening weekend box office.

Peter Facinelli Talks Breaking Dawn Wedding Blues With MTV
MTV had the chance to talk to Peter Facinelli about Paul McDonald doing the soundtrack for his movie Loosies. They slipped in a couple of Breaking Dawn questions while they had him on the phone. This was our favorite:
“Although he couldn’t go into too much detail, we asked Facinelli to describe the heavily hyped wedding scene for us.
“Beautiful and spectacular,” he said. “It’s funny, because whenever we have a big important scene on ‘Twilight’ [movies], it rains. I was doing the baseball sequence [from ‘Twilight’], and it was raining. But you never see it on film,” he said of the filmmaking crew’s movie magic. “With this wedding, it rained the whole time we shot the two scenes. But you’ll never see it on film, they block out the rain. They put tarps up and you’ll never see it. But for us, it was very wet and muddy and cold.”
