Twilight Singapore has now uploaded their coverage of the Official Press Conference of the Japan release tour. For those of you keeping track, this would be the first event where the cast was indoors, nice and dry, and Kristen wore the black leather minidress and the 4 inch heels.  Twilight Singapore’s coverage is great because as officially invited press they were in an elevated area so their camera angle isn’t broken up by heads and bumping elbows. The other great thing here is that there were decent questions getting asked, and the actors had a chance to say something meaningful each time. Hat’s off to Twilight Singapore’s awesome coverage!

A lot of sites are linking to this article stating that initially Oregon was disappointed that the next two Twilight films weren’t going to be shot in Oregon. Basically it came down to two factors:

1. Money: given the economy it’s way cheaper to shoot in Canada which incidentally is closer to Forks than was Portland.
2. It seems this upcoming Harrison Ford and Brendan Fraiser movie ate up the majority of the state’s experienced film industry labor…which spins you back to that money thing again if they would have to import out-of-state crew.

OK, now for the fun part. Let’s see who knows the books and who’s up on upcoming events. Here are our two better questions:

1. Why does it make sense to shoot Eclipse right after New Moon?  Hint: timing is everything

2. Why would it be chaotic to be filming in Vancouver next winter?  Hint: think 5 rings (and we don’t mean the ones the 6 geese a laying left behind)

So imagine you’re a member of the Bella Cullen Project and in the middle of your song about a puppy dog human who’s getting no where fast with Bella you get a surprise visitor.

So there’s this friendly feud going on between Bailey (No More Marbles) and Kaleb (The Twilight Guy) as to who can get more people to sign up for their respective YouTube Channels. Kaleb just upped the ante. Where is the Lexicon in all of this…Switzerland, seriously, no way we are stupid enough to get in the middle of this. We love ya both guys!

In case you were wondering like we were why Kristen Stewart kept changing her clothes in the Japan footage (Black leather mini-dress with sky-high heels, sweeping Grecian inspired gown, tee shirt and jeans with a reappearance of the killer heels) Twilight Singapore has the answer. She attended three separate events. Even though the Rob and Taylor stayed in the same suit  (How unfair is it that guys can do that !).

“Okay, here’s the deal with Twilight’s Japan Red Carpet Premiere Event on the 27th of February. It’s a 3 part event that takes place concurrently – the Press Conference, the Red Carpet walk and the Fan Meeting…Robert, Kristen and Taylor – they were whisked off somewhere in the building each time and had to make a grand entrance at every event. I guess it just how things were done, and actually it made a great effect cos the audience were always different…”

Once again these girls managed more so than mainstream media to capture the real unstaged look of the actors. The other day they manged to get that cute “I tried” smile from Kristen when she gave a greeting in Japanese to the fans (translated as ,” I am very happy to come to Tokyo.”).  Today they captured her when the wind kicked up. Keep in mind it was freezing, literally 32F, on the red carpet and then the damp breeze hit her. See their whole gallery and write-up about the red carpet here.

According to Access Hollywood, American Idol contestant Adam Lambert loved Randy’s Twilight analogy of the other day,

“Maybe I’ll be in a movie, let me just put that out there,” he said. “I follow the ‘Twilight’ books and I love them.”

Given that Adam is already getting MTV coverage, can it be long before Larry Carrol is knocking at his door for a Twilight angle?

So, we’re curious, because we’re sure that there are a lot of AI fans and Twilight fans out there. How many of you loved Adam’s satisfaction the other night, and if you did, did you vote for Adam? Did the Twilight reference influence you in any way?
