It was a really long night for us. Most of us didn’t get home until almost 3:00am Our staff was all over the place. We met a ton of awesome fans. One of our mods got a hug from Rachelle Lefevere in Salt Lake City. Pel got a high-five from Edi Gathegi when she let him know that the Lexicon fans “absolutely love black olives” (more on that later today)

Kellan Lutz called into the Ryan Seacrest show today.  Ryan said to Kellan:

“Rob is the lead, but you’re the better-looking Cullen.”

Kellan responded:

“Ooh, I need to hang out with people like you more often!”

This is probably our last post today as we are all in route to various events. We’ll try to post on Twitter anything that breaks that is big!

The Borders Media site is featuring a video that will be shown in their stores tonight. Various cast memebers send their greetings. Ashley Greene and Rachelle are in full make-up including their costumes. There’s a HUGE improvement on the contact lenses from the first movie. Get the video here.

In the video they mention the Twilight movie awards that are being held in their stores. Don’t forget to bring your ballots.

As a reminder, while everyone is getting ready for the DVD release at Midnight, The Twilight Music Girls will be performing on Saturday March 21st, at the Hot Topic on Hollywood & Highland.  See the flyer below for details.

Taylor Lautner, Rachelle Lefevere, and Kristen Stewart are still in Vancouver (Kristen and Taylor have very heavy filming schedules), and they are doing the cliff diving scene.

As you can see, the Vancouver coastline is very similar to La Push’s beaches (Vancouver is the image on top).  We don’t envy the group filming.

We know first hand just how cold it can be out there. The last time they filmed at the beach, Catherine Hardwicke described it as “My worst day of filming EVER. It was the day that made grown men cry.” Break a leg, guys! Ty Twi Crack.

So I guess we can now eliminate (unless they are making a local appearance, or getting flown on a private jet) Kristen, Rachelle, and Taylor from those making appearances at the DVD releases.

So despite the fact that the LA Times is reporting that Edi Gathegi is appearing on a radio program in LA today (It has to be via call in) he is clearly in New York City! This can’t be accidental. Wonder what NYC release party he’ll be at:

It’s time to once again celebrate the Twilight lexicon’s Third birthday!  If you missed the first post, we are holding three contests this month where three Lexiconers will win autographed Twilight related merchandise.  All you have to do is answer the questions by replying to the post here on the blog.  We will pick a winner by random from the people who answered correctly.  You must be a registered user on the blog with a valid e-mail address so that we can contact you about your prize.

According to Variety, Catherine Hardwicke is directing Stay. This comes just a day after word leaked that she is up for James Patterson’s Maximum Ride. More importantly it’s a Summit project, so much for bad blood!

Edi Gathegi is on radio in LA today. So unless he’s about to hop a really fast plane, we doubt he’s heading to any out-of-town release parties. Kristen Stewart has both Ted Casablanca and VideoGum (warning, if you click language ahead) defending her. When people like Ted and VideoGum, who are known for their biting commentary and snide, over-the-top remarks are saying people are really getting to be a bit much in regards to Kristen, that’s a pretty major move, in particular when the “people” they are calling out is MTV Canada.

In a reversal from what we usually hear about Twilight, Newsweek liked the movie better than the book.

According to Lexiconer, Ashley, there is a contest on a radio show in Oklahoma City. that is called March Manness, and basiclly they are looking for and voting for the hottest man out there. So she nominated Rob! So get over there and vote!

Rachelle Lefevere talked to the Vancouver Sun about growing up in Canada and how her roots have kept her grounded in Hollywood before and after the Twilight experience.

“I’m not criticizing the States at all. But when you’re raised in Canada, you’re brought up with a different appreciation of difference. We have the mosaic model instead of embracing this general trend of assimilation — where people are encouraged to believe in the same things,” she says.

“I was taught to be inquisitive about people and to respect their uniqueness.”
