New Moon Italy Filming Update

Proving the rumors are not a unique phenomena to the US or Canada. Here’s an update from Twilight Italia

Just want to you to know that the Eagle Picture’s Official Twilight WebSite(the Italian Distributor) today indicated that they talked with the Municipality of Montepulciano, which denied the rumor that New Moon would be shot in town during the period from 25th to 30th of May. (They denied the timeframe, not the fact that Montepulciano will host the shooting).

Which translates into:

“We have to give you some bad news: the Pro Loco (tourism office) of Montepulciano wrote us to say that the municipality administration denied the rumours on the dates of the shooting of New Moon in Italy: The dates of 25-30th of May actually are neither certain, nor confirmed. The only official channel enabled to provide sure information regarding this matter will be Montepulciano’s municipality, from which we’ll be expecting an official communication shortly. This does not deny the shooting in Montepulciano, just the dates reported before…”

The Official Eagle Site says that Montepulciano doesn’t refute the fact that is involved with the film but strongly said that doesn’t know nothing about the days and that just the municipality can talk about the movie, not with the Tourism Association.”

Edi Gathegi Interviews at Borders

Remember the other day when Pel said she was the last in a line of ten to interview Edi in a basement alcove the size of her linen closet? Well 4TNZ (who Pel thinks was like number 4 in the line-up and also mentions the basement) has their video up.

Now the other good news is that Borders now has their video up, and you can hear the voice of Kelly (the voice he pranked Jackson with)for the first time ever! They also have some outtakes from the DVD party that they have to reload, but it will eventually be up.

There are also a number of one-of-a-kind author items that will be going up for auction. Stephenie Meyer has promised to auction some annotated early manuscripts, the epilogue of Forever Dawn, and her Eprom ball gown…which brings us to our next point…(we pause now as Pel rolls up her sleeves and takes over the rest of this entry)

Pel wants that dress, so does Dano, they been goading each other for a week over it. Nena Cullen can tell you that it hasn’t been pretty. On Friday, it came to Pel’s attention during a live podcast ( nothing like being put on the spot in front of 300 people) that so does Kara of Twilight Moms. In fact you can see photos of Pel(Laura) and Kara’s banter in front of the crowd over it. If Pel recalls correctly, she seems to remember threatening to stab Kara with her Visa card.

You can see the photos and captions over on Twilight Moms. There’s a good old fashioned throwdown going on. Let’s just see who is wearing that dress this summer! (Insert evil laughter here.)

EW Runs Down the Total Look of Twilight

Now that everyone (well almost everyone) can play Twilight at home, hit pause, and obsess over every detail, costumer Wendy Chuck goes into detail about where she got everything from Edward’s peacoat (unfortunately you can’t buy that she made it) to Bella’s mittens and brown hoodie(check out Nordstroms).

According to EW:

”She’s (Kristen Stewart)in lots of warm earth tones, with some Southwestern elements thrown in. Having come from a warm, sunny climate to the rainy gloom of Forks, we wanted to make her unprepared for the cold and the rain.” Which is why, Chuck explains, we don’t see Bella in a raincoat until later on in the tale.

Access Hollywood: Twilight DVD Release Events

Nikki Reed’s Newest Role

Nikki Reed talked to MTV about her next non-Twilight related project, K-11.  It co-stars Kristen Stewart and was directed by Kristen’s mother.

“It’s a great project, and obviously I have a lot of faith in Kristen and her mom, Jules Stewart, who wrote the script and is directing it,” Reed said. “Kristen is playing a boy, and I am playing a man who is quite a few years older than she is. I am working more on my accent. Mousey is Mexican, and she comes from a very specific place in Southern California.”

Anna Lynne McCord, A Done Deal?

According to the Examiner Anna Lynne is now listed on the IMDB as confirmed for New Moon. However until we hear it straight from Anna Lynn, we are going to consider this a rumor since the IMDB often has errors. Our favorite one was when they were listing Emily Browning as rumored for Twilight long after Kristen was cast.

Especially since Volterra won’t be shot until May, there’s still time to iron out the cast over there especially since many of those parts amount to cameos.
