The UK media outlet Digital Spy caught up with Jamie Campbell Bower on the red carpet at teh UK premiere of Public enemies. Jamie talked about his upcoming work in New Moon and Harry Potter.

“Rob’s genuinely just a normal guy. It was weird being around it all because we couldn’t go out to dinner because there would be 40 paparazzi and screaming girls waiting for Rob,” he explained.

Bikini Day Is Here!

That’s right, today is June 30th and it’s the day Rob DeFranco (Peter Facinelli’s IPhone app designer and good buddy) takes the bikini strut down Hollywood Blvd. because he lost a bet with Peter Facinelli. Peter and Rob have been making some videos regarding the…er…preparations (think 40-Year-Old Virgin). Larry Carroll mentioned two days ago at Summer School in Forks that MTV would be there to cover the event today. In the meantime, let the preparations videos entertain you. we have to say Rob is being an awfully good sport about losing the bet.

Another important thing to remember is that this whole episode has been turned into an event to benefit the Christopher and Dana Reeve Foundation. How cool is that?

Actors In Small Parts Speak Up

Actors who had smaller roles in the Twilight movie talked to the Oregonian about their experience. They include Ayanna Berckshire who plays Cora, Catherine Grimme who plays young Bella, and Solomon Trimble who plays Sam. You can catch all these actors this week in Portland where they are participating in the Vampire Baseball event by Twilight FanTrips. Part of the proceeds will be benefiting the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

“Before my second audition, I walked around my house in North Portland as Cora and thought about the world as Cora. Being from the San Juan Islands originally, I wasn’t that far from Forks (where ‘Twilight’ is set). I was one of less than a handful of minorities in my hometown, and I worked at an A&W. I looked at the photos of Forks that Stephenie Meyer posted on her Web site, and I imagined that as my hometown.

“At one time they were thinking of Cora as a love interest for Charlie Swan (Forks chief of police and father of heroine Bella). That was before the fourth book came out. I was laughing with Stephenie Meyer between takes, and I said to her, ‘If you could just write in the last book that Charlie and Cora live happily ever after, you’d be doing me a big solid.’ She was very sweet. I’m immensely impressed by what she’s done.”

FearNet Best Fan Videos

FearNet asked fansites for their favorite fanmade videos. We sent in several and they decided to feature one of our picks (they couldn’t do all three because they only had so much room) but we’d like to mention all three.

First up is the Hillywood Show. We had a chance to meet the Hillywood team this weekend and we can tell you all that they are super nice in person. They graciously posed with fans all weekend long. We picked Hillywood’s video as Best Twilight Movie Tribute

Next up we picked this video as best fan trailer for New Moon, and wanted to recognize them even though they didn’t make the FearNet cut:

Last was this one that we picked as best spoof:

Stick Man Theatre: New Moon Trailer

The folks over at Stick Man Theater are back with their take on the New Moon trailer.

You may remember their previous items on the Twilight and New Moon that were book-based. You can catch the whole series on their site.

The Vision Awards

Lexiconer Megan was at the Vision Awards and shared these pictures of herself with Billy Burke and Gil Brimingham.

RadarOnline also has coverage:

Twilight was honored at the 36th Vision Awards in Beverly Hills Saturday night and RadarOnline.com reporter Alexis Tereszcuk had the chance to catch up with some of the gorgeous stars from the movie.  Ashley Greene, Billy Burke and Christian Serratos”

The Adventures of Flat Edward

This weekend we met Flat Edward. If any of you have every done a Flat Stanley project, this is the same basic idea only it’s an Edward doll. He also has other Flat Cullen friends.

Check out Edward’s adventures here on facebook.
