Alphie and Pel had a chance meeting with Kimbra Hickey, the hand model whose hands are the famous hands on the Twilight cover.  Over the years so many people have asked questions about the hands ranging from: Are they Stephenie Meyer’s hands?  Are they guy’s or girl’s hands? Was it just a manip of stock footage?

The girls from Twilight Singapore got the surpise of their lives at the airport and later at their hotel. Read all about it here.

Stephenie Meyer in Vogue: Dreamcatcher

Thanks to Misti for the original heads up on this about a week ago. Vogue finally loaded the story (well at least a part of it via Style) online today.

In the article Stephenie talks about writing, her home life, and more. It’s the first article we’ve seen in ages that covers new angles and isn’t the same old same old.

“I had always told myself stories my whole life and assumed that everyone does,” Meyer says. “You know, it’s funny; in Jane Eyre, which is something I’ve read 40 million times, there’s this scene where she shows Rochester her paintings. And she explains that in her head it was so different. And Rochester replies that she captured just a wisp of what she was seeing. I used to paint, and I won a few watercolor contests, but I could never get it to look exactly like it did in my head. But with writing, I discovered I could get it to look exactly like it did in my head.”

The Salute To Twilight Convention: Picture, Picture

There’s a great photo essay over on M&G of the Salute to Twilight Convention that took place last weekend. they have everyone from Kellan Lutz in the gray beanie (We’re telling you Rob started a trend!), Mike Welch still sporting dark brown hair, Jackson Rathbone rocking out with his band, Christian Serratos hanging out with fans and more. Check it out!

Bronson Pelletier Confirmed in New Moon Cast

TY to Lexiconer Sarah for the heads up on this one.

Canadian actor Bronson Pelletier’s agency has confirmed that he has landed a “major role” in New Moon. The question of the hour of course is which one.  His resume includes a stint on Discovery kids DinoSapien where he was 19 when he gave this interview.

Canadians will recognize him from the series Renegadepress where he played the role of Jack Sinclair.

According to Wikipedia (which we realize isn’t always accurate) Bronson is a Native American First Nations(Apparently the right term for the majority of indigenous people from Canada. We stand corrected.)  member of the Plains Cree tribe.

So, Lexiconers, let the speculation begin. Given his age and background, who do you think he is going to play?

TY to Lisette who tracked down video. You can see Bronson in the first 15 seconds or so.

Cast Interviews

Today is your lucky day for cast interviews

First up, Twifans continues their Salute to Twilight Coverage with Rachelle LeFevre and Edi Gathegi.

Rob Pattinson gave a quick quote to the Chicago Sun Times,

“Now Pattinson heads back north to Canada to work on both “New Moon” and the third film in the vampire series, which the actor says “will keep me on a treadmill” for some time to come. “But I’m not complaining. There are so many unemployed actors — especially now. … I feel very fortunate.”

Popstar has an interview with Peter Facinelli where he talks about the New Moon script and more. In case you are wondering what Peter’s favorite book in the series is, here’s the answer:

PopStar: Which is your favorite Twilight book?
Peter Facinelli: I am one of the biggest fans of the book.  I like Eclipse because it has a lot of action in it. Twilight is a close second because it gave such a great setup to this world but Eclipse has a lot of back story on the family and I am excited to shoot the third one.  The fourth one is really interesting too! on the

The Justin Chon Fansite let us know that we can expect to hear from Justin “…watch Justin tomorrow (Tues) on the TV Guide Network’s “Hollywood 411″?  It will air 1:00 am PST, 11:00 am PST and 6:00 pm PST.”
Also he had another photoshoot with nolan dean

Unsurprisingly, Kellan Lutz Online has an interview with…drumroll please…Kellan Lutz.  Kellan talks about his upcoming projects, but he also opens up about his goal-oriented outlook on life.

“Is there anything you always have with you? Like a bracelet, necklace, ring, etc?

Yes, I actually always wear a white (which is now kind of cream in color haha) piece of twine around my left wrist, representing Freedom. It was the toughest decision of my life to pursue acting and to put aside all my hard work and scholarships for college. I have no regrets with the decision I made and I wear my bracelet to remind me of what it took to find my personal freedom and my personal journey in life.”

Catherine Hardwicke to Work With Summit Again

No, the title isn’t a typo. Yes, we had to read the email from EW twice to believe what we were reading. According to Entertainment Weekly,

“Summit Entertainment is trying to make lightning strike twice. The studio behind the Twilight movie series has plans to adapt a buzzy young-adult novel called If I Stay with Twilight director Catherine Hardwicke at the helm…”

Pel’s reaction, “Wow, anything’s possible. The next thing you know I’ll get my wish and Colin Firth will be Aro.”
